Located in Killeberg, Villa Luna Breakfast Hotel is within a 10-minute drive of Almhult Golf Club and IKEA Museum. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: We loved the absolute silence around this place and had a deeply restful and quiet couple of nights. The host is an incredibly interesting person and we had fascinating conversations ranging from music to design.
Pros: The best B&B ever in all aspects. Apartments are fully equipped and very comfortable. Nice hosts as well
Pros: The place is wonderful and in the middle of the forest, very quiet and cozy. The owner Mr. Gunner is very nice and it was a pleasure to get the chance to know him and also discover the beautiful lamps he creates. Really a wonderful stay.
Pros: Absolutely everything. Lovely owners, beautiful location, spacious historic accommodation, comfy beds and great shower
Pros: Very nice hotel . Well designed , decorated , inspiring and warm . Owner himself very kind and welcoming.
Cons: Transport to town is difficult . Price is similar or above to other hotels and also hotels in other towns. If transport becomes easier and free , I believe will be prior choice for many people. There was no hairdryer in room. Slippers were used by previous guests. Could be new for each guest
Pros: Self-contained cottage, small but properly equipped for a few days stay. Nice outside area with chairs & table to relax. Welcoming friendly owner providing useful information about the cottage and area.
Cons: Minor point: we found the price some 10-15% high compared to other properties.
Pros: Villa Luna felt more like home than a hotel, so warm and inviting. Peaceful and calm surroundings help you to relax and if you like nature and walking you will not be disappointed. Clean and comfortable apartment with plenty of space and fantastic views. The underfloor heating in the shower rom was very welcome indeed. Super comfortable bed with plenty of extra bedding if needed. Good continental breakfast with freshly squeezed orange juice is available. There is also an excellent internet connection with a variety of satellite channels. Easy train ride to Älmhult to visit the IKEA museum makes an enjoyable day. Beautiful artworks and crafts are displayed of which we purchased some as a reminder of Gunner, Marianne and their amazing hotel. Vi kan ikke takke dig nok.
Cons: Nothing to dislike at all.
Pros: Nice hotel. Tradional huouse with modern comfort. Nice location, very kind personel.
A stay at IKEA Hotell places you in the heart of Almhult, steps from IKEA Museum and a 5-minute drive from Almhult Golf Club. Featured amenities include a computer station, complimentary newspapers in the lobby, and a 24-hour front desk. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Warm reception, really wonderful menu with great waittress, clean rooms, free parking. Decent breakfast. The beds are wonderful, and all the interior looks modern yet cozy. Decent price.
Cons: Nothing to dislike
Pros: Room furniture...:-)
Cons: Location. Not next to Älmhult center nor Möckeln lake.
Pros: Good value, neat and clean. Room was small but well planned and the bunk beds really comfortable.
Pros: Very nice to have stayed in an IKEA environment (minus the usual crowds in their stores). The museum (across the parkinglot) is an absolute must. Very well laid out and even touching at times
Pros: Simple and clean line design.
Cons: 1. Replace paper cups in the bathroom with glass or ceramic cups would be more eco friendly. 2. Maybe a simple rack in the shower cubicle would be helpful. 3. Improvement ventilation since the room smelled like a friend’s room (ie. sweaty, musty etc). 4. No duvet/cover, only a bed scarf was provided. 5. The curtain was not light-proof.
Pros: very "ikea"... gynm, washing facailities, simple but good food
Cons: no pool or play area for young kids
Pros: The design of the hotel is very nice, very comfortable, the facilities are all handy.
Pros: Accomodation at a good price.
Cons: Bathrom Floor and walls were very dirty. Seems like no one has washed bathroom Floor since many days
Pros: No surprise that all of the furniture and fittings in the bedrooms were IKEA, so they were functional and comfortable. The rooms were spacious too. The staff were brilliant, so friendly and helpful, and the huge spacious communal areas are something special - I did not expect this, but there are plenty of places to relax with an IKEA beer or glass of sparkling wine from the reasonably priced bar. Kitchens with tea and coffee facilities on each floor are different but well equipped and very practical. The restaurant was, well of course, IKEA, with simple but good food and breakfast was excellent. We stayed here for the IKEA museum, which is two minutes walk away, don't forget to pick up the brochure from the hotel which has two free entry tickets in the back. The museum is well worth a visit. If you are looking for somewhere comfortable and quirky, in the Skane region of Sweden, you really must consider staying here. Please note, it's card only payment - cash is not accepted. Thank you for our unforgettable experience - I will be back.
Cons: Cash only - but now I know, it's not a problem.
Located in Diö, Möckelsnäs Herrgård is on a lake, within a 15-minute drive of Carl Von Linne Museum and Almhult Golf Club. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby and luggage storage. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: The area is stunning, people are nice and the restaurant serverved super good quality food. Good wine and just overall, very good service.
Cons: I think that the quality of the toiletpaper was below minus. My advise to anyone visiting is to bring their own. The visit wasn't cheap, so I think better quality is to be expected. The beds had too many past guests, which made it uncomfortable to sleep In. Also, be aware of the mosquitoes there and no a/c in the room.
Pros: Very friendly staff. Beautiful location. Lovely meal
Cons: There was a wedding at the hotel. The music went on until 3am. This is very late and inconsiderate of normal hotel guests. In UK music would stop at midnight/1am.
Pros: large variety of healthy food and good taste
Cons: there was no wifi in the evening
Pros: Clean and quiet.
Cons: -Far away from Almhult. And even worse very difficult to get a taxi. So if you don't drive by yourself, don't choose to stay there. -Staff lack of service sense. I had heavy luggage, need help moving from staircase, they just stare at you like dead person...until I asked for help loudly, they did it unwillingly. Very unhappy experience for me. -the facility is old. The room decor is out of date. They even decorated a whole wall with huge flower picture! - breakfast is simple. And ends early at 9am - charged me hot water when dining at their restaurant Definitely not worth the price!!
Pros: Super quiet location. At dinner is highly recommend the 3 course meal. Since the restaurant is closed on Sundays, there was a further recommendation for restaurants in the area. The staff is super friendly and speak also german and english
Cons: no critic
Pros: Very clean and comfortable hotel in a super location on the lake. Friendly owners and personel.

Cons: Because I found a mouse in my room !! Unacceptable
Pros: Close to Älmhult
Cons: was the bedding clean?
Pros: The owner of this place is very nice, I need a ride to IKEA office, and he offers to drive me there. My room is clean and comfortable, and dining/kitchen stuff also there, you can make your own dinner
Cons: Shower room is a little small for me. Sometime Wifi is not stable.
Pros: Borrow a bike for free, if you need breakfast there is also possiblty (60 sek) in the room you can find all basics needs.
Cons: Everythings were very old, time to change with better ones. There is no clear communication if what happen , what you have to do? A lot of mosquitos, you have to keep close your windows.
