Pros: This is a beautiful spot and the b&b has so much attention to detail, lots of areas to relax, beautiful pool, outdoor and indoor seating, comfy beds, lovely linen and towels. Great breakfast. And the hosts go out of their way to help they are very kind. We had such a relaxing stay, although only for one night, we hope to come back and stay longer!
Pros: A beautiful house in a quiet location with exceptional rooms. All the rooms were large, comfortable and beautifully decorated. We also received a very warm welcome, including a cold beer which was very welcome. Our breakfast was also delightful and we were invited to take what we didn’t eat with us for our onward journey. Julie also recommended a restaurant and booked it for us. Everything we could possible need, and more, had been thought of.
Cons: That we couldn’t stay longer
Pros: It's host's were fantastic

The owners' hospitality was absolutely amazing, the breakfast exceptional and we would highly recommend La Tale to other holiday makers. Many thanks indeed to Julie and Francis.

Cons: Absolutely nothing!
Pros: A very special place with special hosts. A gem in the French countryside. Everything was more than perfect and breakfast a delight. Merci beaucoup.
Pros: La Tale is in very beautiful peaceful location with the use of a lovely swimming pool. Julie and Francis are excellent hosts who make your stay as perfect as possible. The accommodation is spotless and spacious ; and breakfast is scrumptious! This is the perfect oasis for us but a car is essential as you might need to travel a little further afield for suitable restaurants. Quite a few only serve lunch so best to plan ahead.
Cons: We cannot fault La tale or our delightful hosts.
Pros: Absolutely perfect stay, our host and hostess could not have done more to make us feel welcome in their beautiful home. Fantastic breakfast will definitely come back, thank you both.

An excellent recommendation for supper completed our experience. Our breakfast was served in the most lovely room and included much that was home made... it was delicious.

Cons: Nothing, only that I could not stay for longer.
Pros: Such a beautiful setting and friendly family atmosphere. Made me feel like a Duchess.
Cons: All perfect!
Pros: it was like a dream that came throught!!
Pros: Absolutely idyllic stay in the French countryside. Ivana welcomed us warmly and contacted us ahead of time to suggest a restaurant for dinner - she made a reservation for us and it was fabulous. The chateau is lovely and the room beautiful and comfortable. Everything is exactly as pictured online. Breakfast was fantastic too, especially the homemade jams and yogurt. And the coffee! It would have been nice to have more time to spend here on the beautiful property.
Cons: Only drawback for us was the location. It’s a bit removed from everything, truly in the countryside. If that’s what you’re looking for it’s perfect. If you plan to spend a lot of time wine tasting in Vouvray or similar, it’s a bit of a drive.

Pros: Room was lovely and comfortable.
Cons: Breakfast was disappointing for the price
Pros: Outside eating
Cons: Breakfast self service
Pros: Excellent position as a stopover, near to motorway. Spacious bathroom.
Cons: Food was quite pricey.
Pros: Quaint and full of character, with modern, comfortable rooms. Nice shower too. Lovely, friendly staff. Convenient and free parking.
Cons: It is on quite a busy road, but it does get quieter at night.
Pros: Nice bathroom and room was basic but comfortable although the air conditioning did not appear to work.
Pros: Breakfast good. Staff very helpful and spoke a little English which helped. Lovely comfortable beds. Very spacious rooms. The hotel had loads of character.
Cons: The twin room for our disabled member of the party was sited on the second floor. The two non-disabled guests were allocated the ground floor disabled room (double). We had to swap rooms and the hotel made up the other single bed and brought more towels. It was not a huge problem for us but could have been for other guests faced with the same situation. The main criticism was that there were no blinds or curtains in either the bedroom or bathroom. A complete lack of privacy. I would not stay here again.
Pros: Only stayed overnight. Very comfortable.
Cons: Everything was fine?
Pros: Great location, comfortable beds, friendly staff.
Pros: Had a comfortable night in this hotel.
Pros: A well-renovated room. Very comfortable. A good place to stay en route north to south.
Pros: Good breakfast, plenty of croissants, pain au chocolat, bread, cereal, tea or coffee. Good hosts with interesting backgrounds, very generous and helpful. Great pond with frogs and fishes.
Cons: No hair drier in the room, and tea or coffee making facilities in the hall would have been good.
Pros: An Excellent couple + owner, Sue and Tony are super nice and helpful and speak English- they are from UK :-) Nice small village with a quiet setting Served us tea and coffee upon arrival, really nice Tony buys fresh bread and croissants for breakfast , very tasty!
Cons: Quite a few Mosquitos and flies in the countryside. Doors and windows don’t have screens. At night in the hot days, must open windows for cool breezes. So, bring OFF !
Pros: Sue and Tony were very kind and helpful. Breakfast and coffee were perfect. Small, nice quiet village.
Pros: In the middle of nowhere. Lovely people. Clean. Lovely dog. Great breakfast.
Pros: Tony and Sue are excellent hosts and make you feel very at home, the house is clean and well prepared and the food is delicous

Pros: This former hotel is run by the owner as an aparthotel. The twin room I believed I had booked turned out to be a room with a double bed and a sofa bed. As I slept in the sofa bed it is possible to say that it was comfortable enough but less good than a proper bed would have been. There was secure parking for our cycles and the owner made us feel welcome. However, despite being Friday night, there was no food available, nor any restaurants within walking distance. Luckily for us, the excellent boulangerie across the road from the hotel was still open and we were able to make up a light meal from their shelves, which went beyond just bread. We were also able to buy a bottle of wine. Breakfast was OK but not plentiful. As a stopping off point, it did its job, but I wouldn't choose this as a destination.
Cons: We needed a room with twin beds but none were available at any time. The sofabed was OK but not as comfortable as a proper bed woudl have been.
Pros: Only used it as a one night stopover but it was perfect from that point of view. Car was close to room, check in was painless despite my French being terrible, hassle free, clean, comfortable, just what I needed after a long drive.
Pros: The location.
Cons: Dishes were not properly clean. There was a very intense smell to cigarette smoke all over the root and in the bed sheets. Beds were not comfortable.
