Pros: We came for mothers 60th birthday and got 2 bedrooms instead of one family room - for the same price! The check in lady was wonderful and caring, everything was clean and beautiful. We were offered horse riding activities (did not use as we had other plans) and also free museum tour. The place is amazing, would love to return to stay for 2 days and try horse riding too. Excellent! Thank you.
Pros: Everything starting from the location itself - quiet village with lots of trees, small river running right besides the gesthouse. Housekeeper was very friendly - we had a chance too choose our room, also our 3 bicycles were safely stored in the conference room. recommend this place!
Pros: Very beautiful interior!
Cons: If you live in firts apartment it can be noisy when someone arrives late
Pros: Wonderful place, beautiful area. Good food in restaurant. Very good place traveling with kids.
Pros: Cleanliness and coziness in the room!
Cons: Menu at the restaurant nearby ONLY in Latvian. It's great that a bartendress spoke English and explained the ingredients of the courses, yet the menu in English / Russian is a must!
Pros: Beautiful room, clean and tidy. Kind staff.
Pros: Super for families with small kids. Easy to access by walking the Tērvetes Nature park. Nice house and room. Great room and decorations in middle of nature. We really enjoyed our holidays there with 2 month and 2,5 years old kids.
Cons: There was barely any conditioning even with the window open and it was really hard to sleep. There SEEMED to be a wi-fi connection that was for guests but it didn't work AT ALL and there was an alarm breaking out 6 in the morning outside.
Pros: It's all - great place (located in a house where Anna Brigadere - latvian writer who wrote spriditis lived before, picturesque surroundings, good rooms
Pūteļkrogs offers family friendly accommodation in a green, quiet area 5 km from Tērvete Nature Park. It is surrounded by nature, yet close to the motorway. It offers free Wi-Fi. All the rooms in Pūteļkrogs are simple, bright and painted in light colours. They all have a TV. There is a café on the ground floor of Pūteļkrogs, offering Latvian and European dishes. It has a playground for the children in the garden, as well as free, private parking. There is also a sauna in the premises. The closest bus stop is located 200 metres from the grounds, and the closest swimming site – 1 km away.
Pros: 5ish km from the town, so pretty much nowhere and quiet.
Cons: Was asked to pay upfront 'to avoid misunderstandings' - still not quite sure if it was because of me arriving on foot, with a backpack and in my rrunning clothes (had a roebuck trailrun that day) - I guess I didn't look like the usual customer for the place .. but - don't judge a book by it's cover .. or a client by his/her clothing .. would be my response .. Yeah - what happened with the water pressure? It was barely there and barely lukewarm. The communication about the sauna was somewhat unclear - initially there was no info regarding the pice in written conversation on booking.com - the price tag popped up later, when I called to make sure it's an option (figure the responding persons for web and phone are different). So - I was thinking I'd have a bath instead when arrived and saw that my room has one, but due to the allmost nonexistent pressure that didn't happened either. To sum up .. not quite happy, on the other hand - didn't have any particular expectations, so these are a few things the place could maybe review.
Pros: Safe place in the middle of nowhere with a nice view from a windows.
Cons: Bad smell from bathroom. Terrible shower and no hot water. It was not clear about breakfast and staff almost didn't speak English to explain. A lot of flies in the room as well as in the restaurant.
Pros: Delicious food, nice rooms, comfortable beds. Space outside great. Staff speaks russian or english except a young waitress who speaks just latwian.
Cons: Needs to be more cleaner. No wash gel just shampoo. Noise heard in the room from the road. But when you close the window it's really quiet.
Pros: Its a big room and Very Nice location everything is clean snd Very comfortable for that Price!
Cons: Couldn’t find any foreign language channels from TV only “Latvian”but that’s not an issue. Issue was check in - no signs where to go or call or ask for your room key!
Pros: The best price for such perfect place with the taste of history.
Pros: Pleasant staff, good location
Cons: Big bathroom window without any curtain or something like that. From outside you looks like on the stage :)
Pros: Excellent place to have peace and quite away from the city
Pros: I liked the calmness of the place. Breakfast was good. Good value for money.
Pros: Our room was clean, spacious, bathroom is nice as well. Our waiter was amazing - really caring and even spoke our language. Food in the restaurant is on the pricier side, however, it is more than worth it. Portions are huge and the food is really tasty! Breakfast was not included, however, there was an option to order it upon arrival. We ordered a portion per person, however, keeping in mind the size of the meal, we could only take one portion and share it.
Cons: Rooms have poor ventilation. Owners should consider installing anti-insect nets on windows so guests could open them and not worry about mosquitos getting inside.
Pros: Upon arrival, dinner was still possible some 30 minutes past their closing time. Breakfast, available for a separate fee, was generously sized and plenty to start the day. The hosts were wonderful and helpful.
Cons: It took a while for the hot water to start in the shower. Internet was very slow - not the most important thing in this region, but can slow you down when planning the next day with maps.

Pros: Nice hotel, with strong reminding on the sovjet style architecture and interior. Good breakfast for just €3,50 p.p.
Pros: The staff was really polite and welcoming, location was perfect and central. Shops around the corner. Sightseeing places around the corner too.
Cons: Only two tiny pillows. The cleaning was skipped. No hair dryer. Balcony but smoking not allowed on the balcony
Pros: Unfortunately nothing.
Pros: Comfortable and spacious rooms, friendly staff, clear rooms in the good area near the Dobele castle ruinis and Trevene park. Rich breakfast to compare with other 2** hotels
Cons: the breakfast sausages and omelet were cold, Coffee is providing in thermoses and the thermos was broken.
Pros: Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was only just ok. Wifi worked ok but not secured. Ok location near old square. Room was quiet
Cons: Room not value for money, breakfast for a vegetarian not value for money. No lift, no English Tv channels.
Pros: We got exactly we expected, comfortable stay at the center of the town.
Pros: Air pump in hot days saved our mood !
Cons: In TV no local chanels. No secured parking place
Cons: No pillows for all. Very hot, no conditioner or ventilation.
