Pros: The staff was really polite. The room was very comfortable. Really enjoyed my stay.
Cons: For the price of the breakfast I'd expect more options.
Pros: The room was very nice and clean. The reastaurant is cozy.
Cons: There wasn’t
Pros: I travelled to Lemgo for a mini military reunion with friends, I only stayed overnight but next time my wife can share the experience, I liked how the old part of the building was separated from the new, Warm clean and quiet. and no driving around the town, "I,ll BE BACK"
Pros: The breakfast was fresh and delicious. The coffee was great!
Pros: Friendly staff. Clean, comfortable, modern, and spacious room in the new building. Very nice shower. Excellent breakfast in the beautiful, historic building.
Cons: Room 43: WiFi not stable. A light sewer smell can be sniffed at the toilet. The soap pump in the shower was empty. Also the next day not refilled, despite the fact that I have clearly signalled this. TV can hardly be turned, because the antenna cable is too short. The duvet is a bit too small.
Pros: Reception staff were excellent. Great location and very welcoming of our dog too.
Cons: The room wasn’t cleaned even though we asked and we tried to get a table early on Saturday evening in the restaurant but were abruptly told that there was no availability. Appreciate that hotel restaurants can get booked but we were not made aware that booking would be required.
With a stay at Landhaus Begatal in Doerentrup, you'll be within a 10-minute drive of Junkerhaus and Brake Castle. The front desk is staffed during limited hours. This hotel has 2 meeting rooms available for events. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: The garden is lovely and the waitress was attentive.
Cons: The room had not been properly cleaned - the toilet was unflushed in the worst way imaginable. The light inthe bathroom was broken. Breakfast is basic, considering the price. The selection of teas was so laughable I posted it to Facebook. Just tea-flavoured tea, thanks.
Located in Lemgo, Hotel an der Ilse is within a 10-minute drive of Junkerhaus and Brake Castle. The front desk is staffed during limited hours. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: The room was very spacious and comfortable with available parking. The breakfast choices were varied and delicious. The restaurant staff was very accommodating.
Pros: the room was clean but the shower gel bottle was empty.
Cons: The breakfast was very poor, we arrived at 9.00 all plates nearly empty and were not refilled.
Pros: Being from UK the breakfast was predictable. We did not know that we could have asked for a "fried egg" until the third day and then many were gone. Plenty of fresh fruit and as much coffee as you would like.
Cons: The choice of bread was limited and fresh croisants would have been good.

Pros: The bed was comfortable
Cons: The bathroom was not tidy or clean, and the maid only tidied up the room without actually cleaning. The hotel need updating as it looks like a bar/hostel. The breakfast items could have been better.
Pros: Very nice and helpful staff.
Cons: We had a nice experience. The only complain I have was that the towel for the floor in the bathroom wasn't clean (you could clearly see some feet marks which were left by the previous tenant). The room is tidy and clean but the walls were very thin and I kept hearing my next door neighbour who was watching loud movies all night long... Breakfast was sufficient but could offer a bit more choice. The plus was the very nice lady who runs the place who was very nice and helpful. All in all, we had a very pleasant stay.
Cons: The wifi did not work. I was further from the center than i expected. The key of my room could open also the front door, which means all keys can open the front door and probably they were all the same.
Pros: Easy parking. Decent location
Cons: After seeing the pictures on booking.com, I have to say I was disappointed. The room I was in looked quite a bit different: It was small, very basic, and dark due to insufficient lighting. The bed was smaller than a US twin and not very comfortable. A weird contraption in the bathroom behind the toilet kept hissing and making loud pumping noises on its on once a minute and kept waking me up. Walls were thin and I could hear other guests snoring. Breakfast was okay at best. Upon checkout, it turned out that the credit card machine was broken and they accepted only cash.

Pros: We just stayed one night when passing through Germany, although we arrived late the personel was very helpful and lovely. The breakfast was great with plenty of choices.
Pros: The staff were helpful when my nephew got hurt in the pool and called an ambulance
Cons: It’s all good
Pros: WiFi, and they were kind at reception. Views are nice too
Cons: I travel a lot for work all over the world and have never stayed in a hotel in greater need of a complete renovation. Rooms and facilities are from the 70’s and look like they have never been updated! Looks nice on the pictures but common this is really quite shocking !
Pros: Swimming pool
Cons: Food and breakfast very poor quality and pricey Very old installations
Pros: The swimming pool
Pros: Staff was very friendly. View from the room vas nice and green.
Pros: Good room, very good breakfast and nice location in nature. Nice staff! Safe place to put my motorcycle.
Cons: Truth be told, the hotel needs a facelift but it’s a very good place to stay. If I’m in the area again I will come back to this hotel.
Pros: Swlimming pool, breakfast, evening meal (but not buffet), location, beer.
Cons: Problems communicating with some members of staff.
Pros: Nice hotel in a lovely, quiet surrounding. Good place for hiking.
Cons: There was nothing we did not like.

Pros: Like Marie Chester, very very quiet. Only saw one member of staff
Cons: No access to bar facilites
Pros: Really nice view on the forest trees, the room was comfortable and clean, the breakfast was very tasty.
Pros: We had a short but very pleasant stay. What I particulary liked was that the hotel didn't make any trouble when we had to shorten our stay due to force majeure. Morover it was clean and tje breakfast was ok.
Cons: Nothing to complain about in particular - we had a short stay. No negative remarks.
Pros: Staff,quietude, functionality, good parking
Cons: Room was small for the price.
Pros: The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast very good
Cons: Not very clean. The bathroom a bit small.
Pros: The location of this hotel is excellent
Cons: The hotel is a bit run down. Breakfast was very good.
Pros: Nice location, surrounded by trees just outside Lemgo. Good selection of cold meats, cheeses, bread, fruit and cereals etc. for breakfast. Free wifi and parking.
Cons: Basic no frills accommodation.
Pros: Staff were very friendly and helpful, providing useful information on the local area. I stayed there for two nights - the first with my son and second on my own; the staff were very flexible with this.
Cons: Roadside traffic noisy (even closing windows did not help). On check out I was asked to pay again, even though I'd paid in advance. They were very insistent that I should sign to have the money taken from my card again (which I refused), even though I produced an email showing that I'd already paid. This would appear to be a mis-communication between booking.com and the hotel.

Pros: The breakfast was good.
Pros: We enjoyed visits to Lemgo, Detmold and Hermann's Denkmal and the Teutoburger Wald. The breakfast was good on Sunday.
Cons: Electrical fittings that did not work. The gasthoff had a bar but was always closed and no locals were in there. It was in a small village outside Lemgo, this was not clear on the website and we expected to be in Lemgo town. The breakfast was very poor on the Monday. (We were the only guests)
