Pros: Located in a small town in the high-land region of Sardinia. Beautiful place to stay and relax. Spacious room with air-conditioning system and balcony. Big and comfortable bed. Well-equipped bathroom. Extremely helpful and friendly lady host. Delicious breakfast and private place to park the car. I definitely recommend this place and would definitely like to return in the future.
Cons: Nothing to mention here. Everything was much better than expected.

Pros: Super friendly, great breakfast nice room and bath
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Sa Reina was a very nice place to stay during our holiday in Sardinia. Silvia was more than helpful with everything, gave us some recommendation for what to visit and she even borrowed her sun umbrella. The garden is very spacious and green. The rooms are clean and cozy. Close to the facility you can find a gas station and a supermarket. I totally recommend it!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The place is tranquil and cozy. Silvia was the best host possible - very friendly and helpful. Told us what to see in the area, gave a lot of local tips. Definitely looking forward to visiting again!
9.0 Excellent
Pros: I like cleanness of room
Cons: We paid cash
5.8 Okay
Pros: The village is nice, there is an excellent restaurant called Hot Chili Bar in the vicinity. The old cleaning lady was very nice and lovely, she was very helpful. A BIG thanks to her! The rest was a fiasco.
Cons: We booked the facility for two nights for New Year's Eve. We wanted to have a great time climbing in the area. On booking.com the property was shown as a Bed and Breakfast, on the photos, there were pictures with a breakfast table. We booked two rooms, but there was no extra option to book with or without breakfast. So we supposed this was, as its name said, a bed and breakfast facility. When we arrived on 31 December at 19:00 we met a lovely old lady from the staff. She was not informed that we will come, so our rooms were not heated and prepared. The management (a man) came soon. He gave us two rooms, but when we asked about the breakfast he said there will be no breakfast. It was not included. Not in the price, not anyhow. We told him, that there was no option to ask extra for the breakfast, like in many cases where you can order an apartment with breakfast or without. Here there was no such option. But we would pay for it extra. We told him that we didn't have food with us. He replied that the stores are closed, so he can't help, where should he buy us food? Anyways, he said, he gave us one room with a kitchen. That should compensate. We were shocked. The stores would open on 3rd January, so how are we supposed to make use of the kitchen? To our greatest luck, the old lady from the staff brought us a delicious homemade sponge cake. That was what saved us. :D As for the rest: there was hardly any water in the shower. Luckily we managed to find the reason: there was too much limescale in the shower head. When we removed it, it was possible to have a shower. The cord of the hair drier was damaged and "repaired" with a band. Quite dangerous in a humid bathroom. The lightbulbs were of bluish color in most of the rooms, which made them feel cold and far from cozy. It reminded us more of a camping than a bed and breakfast. Quite unlikely that we will ever return.

8.8 Excellent
Pros: It was a nice experience to stay in an earthen building. Also the courtyard was nice. Unfortunately the weather was not so good; we could not enjoy sitting outside. The owner was a nice person. Although he did not speak other language , apart from Italian, he was trying to communicate with us and give useful information.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The house, yard, and rooms are absolutely gorgeous and quiet. The breakfast is delicious and plentiful. Walter is a great host and "told" us (see negative for details) a lot about the history of the house and the fact that he rents it out as an artists-in-residence place during the winter months. Villamassargia's location is convenient for exploring the south-western part of Sardinia. The bars on the main square (2min from the house) provide an opportunity to have a cold Ichnusa or Mirto in the evening. Contrary to other reviewers we also never had an issue to find a parking spot next to the house (in the small street behind the back-entrance).
Cons: As other reviews have pointed out neither Walter (the owner) nor any of his staff speak a word of English. With Walter that's no problem as he simply uses Google Translate on his phone which made for some interesting albeit somewhat slow conversations. However his staff seems less motivated so even basic communication with them is challenging. What irked me more (and is also related to the staff) is that there's a sign in the room which says there's daily servicing of the rooms but in the four nights / 3 full days that we were there it was only done once. For such a short stay it's not a big issue but I found it to be frustrating that something that was promised wasn't kept.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is a wonderful place on a wonderful island. The owner is really there to help and make your stay as comfortable as possible. The breakfast was delicious, organic, we even had easter biscuits every day. The apartments are nice and very creative (simple but comforting) and clean.
Cons: The internet connection is very poor on Sardegna wherever you go - this place is no exception. But if you want to make a holiday you don't have to check your mail hourly, right?

9.2 Excellent
Pros: Impeccable rooms and lovely quiet location. Friendly staff and lovely vibe.
Cons: The breakfast is described as full English. It’s self serve cheese ham and other sweet items! Also the property is not accessible without arranging access prior due to locked gates. WiFi password didn’t work.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We were welcomed very warmly. We felt immediatly at home. The place is super clean and cosy. And breakfast was excellent! The b&b is very close to the Grotte San Giovanni and the climbing area.
6.3 Good
Pros: The location is in an a former paperfactory on a big private terain with the great ambition to generate own solar cell electricity for the rooms. It is a good startingpoint for hikingtrails, mountainbiking and rockclimbing. Beds are very firm. good airconditioning in rooms and kitchen. Breakfast is basic with fresh fruit and a good espresso machine.
Cons: It has a big shared kitchen. But upon coocking dinner the kitchen did not suffice to our suprise. Basic implements where missing (been profided now). For us it was unclear the kitchen was not ment to prepare dinner. Some simple adjustments to the kitchen will add value to the stay is our opinion. Shelfs in the rooms will also help.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was very clean with private bathroom and AC, breakfast was sufficient and very tasty (italian style). The accomodation is situated in very quiet locaton and can be recommended to hikers (San Giovanni cave nearby) and also to tourists traveling around South Sardinia (we visited towns and beaches, the nearest beach Fontanamare is about 20 minutes drive from accomodation). The personal is very helpful and nice (Emanuella thank you for everything). I can really recommend this B&B.
