Pros: The host was very friendly and gave very interesting insights into life in Croatia on the border of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Cons: The accommodation is basic but altogether our family one night stop over was perfect
Pros: check in late. easy online payment
Cons: The room looks like my grandgrandgrandma's with an ancient heating appliance, outdated furniture and TV. The room has a painted glass door therefore expect not to provide to much intimacy. The breakfast only consists in scrambled eggs and some bacon
Pros: The host was kind. The breakfast was good, especially given the fact that it was included in price. Overall value for money is great and I would recommend the property to anyone travelling in the region and looking for a budget overnight stay.
Cons: The toilet seat was falling apart and the room was not entirely clean. For example, there were some bits of hair on the bed which signals that sheets were not replaced before our visit. The same is true for the room floor. Also, both room and especially bathroom smelled weird - as if no one was staying in the apartment for quite a long time. While it was not hot on the day, there was no air conditioning in the room which might be a problem for the visitors visiting during the hotter summer days. These problems were not deal breakers, but it is a shame that they existed as most of them are easily solvable.
Pros: Breakfast at the Una Rafting restaurant was delightful!
Pros: We liked seeing the real Croatia not the tourist places.
Cons: Had to drive out to restaurant, it is the only eatery as this is a very small town.
Pros: Great location in the middle of nature, great balcony to chill and enjoy the sounds of nature. Great breakfast and flexible hosts.
Cons: Just a little bit dated, but that gives a lovely atmosphere.
Pros: Beautiful valley. The rooms are simple but have all the necessities and it's very quiet there as it is further away from big roads. The owner was very friendly, spoke english very well. He gave us some very good recommendations about nearby not-so-touristic sights, such as - Strbacki Buk - i.e. waterfall on the Una river and the start of the Una river (Vrelo Une). While Plitvice park is very over-crowded, the Strbacki Buk is very private and free. The owner also organises rafting trips on the Una river so if you're interested, you need to contact him in advance before your trip. Part of the river serves as a border between Croatia and Bosnia-Herzegovina.
Pros: Excellent place to stay in the middle of nowhere. Host was very nice and waited up for us to arrive at 10pm.
