Pros: Debra was great. She met us on arrival & offered us the best ever almond treat ( she had made herself) as well as coffee and soft drink. She was sweet, helpful, and made us feel so welcomed. In the evening she brought a bowl of fruit to our room. The room was spacious, spotless, and had large windows overlooking the courtyard. We could choose to eat breakfast in the peaceful courtyard or have it brought to our room. Our tandem bike was secure close by.
Pros: personal and friendly service, breakfast was tailored to our wishes
Pros: Excellent breakfast, helpful host, good facilities
Pros: The breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice and fresh products. The location was also excellent for those wanting to relax and explore the Hoge Veluwe. We rented bicycles and we were provided with a great route for us to follow.
Cons: Nothing, we loved this place.
Pros: All what you can expect from a B&B and that makes you feel like you are a special guest, happy to visit again and confident to recommend to a friend.
Pros: The location is walking distance from several nice restaurants and a supermarket, and cycling and driving distance from several towns, and walking and cycling routes. It is super quiet and yet very central. The owner is extremely nice and friendly, very knowledgeable about the region, and just a great host.

Het Wellnest was the perfect place to relax and recover from jet lag before starting our cycle tour. Christa's breakfasts were exceptional, and her advice on the Tulpen Route turned out to be a game changer. Will definitely be back in coming years.

Pros: We highly recommend Johannesberg B&B. It's one of the best we have ever stayed in. Modern tastefully designed rooms. Fantastic breakfast. Friendly and helpful owners. Quiet peaceful rural surroundings. We were primarily visiting Elburg but picked this B&B in Oldebroek because it appeared to be a better value than those in Elburg and was less than 4 km away - we weren't disappointed! Elburg is an easy ten minute drive and has a large free parking lot near the tourist area so getting there was no problem. We had some excellent meals in Elburg - there are restaurants closer to the B&B but we did not try them. There are some other attractions nearby the B&B - a nice nature park was only a short distance away.
Cons: Weather was pretty warm and a fan would have been a nice addition to the otherwise well equipped room.
Pros: B&B Johannesberg is a very cozy beautiful place to stay. The owners were very friendly and kind. Lovely breakfasts! Thanks a lot for very warm family feelings :) We stayed at Dakota room. It's brand new, nice design and an amazing view of the farm. Was really nice to wake up in the morning with such a nice view. Area around is very quiet and calm, perfect for a city run away. I can only recommend this place!
Pros: This is a cut above B & B. The room is new and perfect (almost) Parking is the best. Breakfast excellent
Cons: The shower is a challenge
Pros: Room 1 was amazing. Just enough decor in the room and a charming little outdoor space with nice calm scenery. Marianne was a fantastic host.
Cons: Nothing I didnt like
Pros: Friendly host, beautiful room, great stay.
Cons: We didnt have a car, definitely better I ff you have one! But a great and cheap bike hire close by.
Pros: Johannesberg B&B just has it all. Beautiful rooms, fantastic view, lovely staff and a fantastic breakfast. It's just all there.
Cons: The place is truly perfect to the very last detail.
Pros: Generous breakfast with something special every morning - good welcome, accommodation very comfortable and when the printer was out, I still got an invoice in my mail the same day.
Pros: Everything was fine. Nice hosts. Amazing and varied breakfast. Super clean and tasty apartments. Highly recommended!
Cons: Non a thing!!!

Cons: Everything, it was great.
Pros: Staff was very friendly and welcoming. The room was equipped with everything I could want in a room. The bed was comfortable and the pillows were plentiful. The location is a few km out off the next town (~10 km), however, this allowed for a completely noiseless experience. Breakfast was more than needed and served in the open under a tree. This location is with all certainty to recommend. Should I ever end up in the region again, B&B de Haere is where I would like to stay.
Cons: ...? The weather, maybe.
Pros: Very friendly host and excellent breakfast. Helpful tips re: the local area. Extremely pleasant place to stay.
Pros: Lovely spacious room, very nicely furnished with a super comfy bed. The owner’s mother who took over while her daughter was on holiday was very helpful and served us a wonderful continental breakfast in our room. The property is situated in a quiet rural location. There is a restaurant down the road, which is apparently very good, but it was closed that evening (Tuesday). We therefore had to drive into Elburg for a meal which was a pleasant surprise - such a beautiful little town, definitely worth a visit.
Pros: Breakfast was varied and plentiful. Room was spacious yet really cosy with a lovely seating area and very comfy bed. Great shower. We stayed two nights and it was delightful. Susanne and her husband were very welcoming. We English love our tea and she supplied milk to go in the fridge. Nothing was too much trouble and there was thought and real attention to detail. Perfect and lovely.
Cons: Nothing to dislike. Everything is thought of.

Pros: The location is rural, quiet, peaceful. The hostel was very considerate. I recommend!
Pros: Amazing breakfest and very friendly hospitality....
Pros: The most friendly welcome I have had in ages at a B&B. Kind and warm people with a heart for hospitality. They also run a farm next door with cattle, great view on the polders in the morning.
Pros: Everything else was perfect. Air conditioning made it more comfortable in the hot weather to. The breakfast was amazing! Different food each morning and you had plenty to choose from. Staff are friendly and you didn't feel like you were on a family farm.
Cons: I would say you should be able to book the whole house and not have to share. It's slightly small to share with strangers. Think should have an option to book the whole place out. Would defiantly pay more for the whole building.

Cons: Insulation of the ventilation system. There was noise before sleeping(+/-23.00hrs) and in the morning(+/-06.00Hrs).
Pros: Location in Veluwe Region, Terrace, Self-Service at Bar & Free bikes
Pros: Excellent value for money. Small family run hotel, which has a lot of history to it. The hotel has a very nice atmosphere. Great service, very friendly and approachable owners. Issues are dealt with immediately. Also the owners trust you as a guest, since the bar is all selfservice. Great concept by the way, with many choices and very reasonable pricing. Cosy room, with big balcony. Clean and functional bathroom and a very comfy bed. Good breakfast with fresh juices and everything you need for a good start of the day. Nice detail: during my stay it was mother’s day so all “mothers” were offered a lovely plant in the dining room at breakfast!
Cons: No complaints at all!
Pros: No-nonsense facilities and room, cousy, good position
Cons: Everything perfect
Pros: Cora is a delightful and welcoming hostess. She clearly pays attention to style and detail. She prepares an excellent breakfast which really sets you up for a busy day. Great location just 10 minutes walk to the old town and harbour. We would be delighted to return next time we visit Elburg.
Pros: Cora is a great host and easy to work with. The property is ground level which is rare in the EU
Cons: Everything is perfect
Pros: everything. cora is a superb host
Cons: nothing, all good
Pros: This gorgeous little B&B is just fantastic! It's in a great location, within easy walking distance to the centre of Elburg, and also within easy driving distance to many other local areas. As many previous guests have mentioned, the substantial breakfast is amazing! Delivered each morning by Cora at the requested time, it's more than enough to get you through the day ahead. The room was sparkling clean with a comfortable bed, great hot shower, a refrigerator and tea/coffee making facilities. Cora is a wonderful host who always took the time to chat with us and answer any questions we had. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. Thankyou for everything Cora. Sylvia and Murray
Pros: EVERYTHING AND ANKER WAS SO KIND WE HAD TO GO TO WALIBI SIX FLAGS THE NEXT DAY AND SHE INSISTED IN TAKING US WITH HER CAR, SHE SAID THAT IT IS TOO EXPENSIVE TO TAKE A TAXI
Cons: NOTHING NOT TO LIKE
Pros: Accommodation is in a private annex to the house. Homely atmosphere and good facilities. The superb breakfast was delivered at the agreed time. Good location - short walk to town centre. Host was very friendly and helpful.
Pros: Friendly owner, clean and comfortable room, good breakfast, close to the city-center.
The cosy, traditional Hotel Restaurant De Vossenberg offers comfortable guest rooms in the charming village centre of Vierhouten, set amidst a forested area. It features free Wi-Fi and Free private parking on site. Surrounded by extensive natural beauty and just 8 km from the Veluwemeer Lake, this is the ideal location for hiking, cycling and other outdoor activities. The wonderful terrace provides a great place to sit out and soak up the sun or enjoy the terrace heating. You can also sit at the lovely fireplace inside and sip a hot drink or a glass of wine. The classic interior of the restaurant provides a warm atmosphere for a relaxing meal at the end of the day. The antique bar can add extra elegance to your event or private dinner.
Pros: Great restaurant and breakfast
Pros: Our second visit to De Vossenberg was even better than our first. The food was as expected: tasteful, large enough portions (but not too large), and with sufficient choice for us. The room was very large (the 'granny room' in the building next door), modern, cool (despite the 30+ temperature that day), and clean. Good beds, large beds, modern set-up and clean shower with bath. The restaurant serves efficiently, no long waiting times, and friendly staff. We will certainly come back once again some time.
Cons: The only window in the room looks over a parking lot (it's a ground floor house). We didn't mind, but not very helpful in getting some privacy. The window only had a dark curtain, which had to be drawn all the time to get some privacy, effectively making the room very dark and gloomy. A glazing would have helped here, so at least we can get some light without have the feeling of being locked in.
Pros: Nice rooms, comfy beds, beautiful location, friendly staff
Cons: Strange smell in bathroom of room 15
Pros: The location is perfect for hiking and cycling. The staff was helpful and friendly. Breakfast was great. Enough to choose from.
Cons: I can imagine some people are bothered by 'if you want to check in - go find our staff'. People let you know when they arrive so man the reception so you can welcome them.
Pros: Very nice staff and atmosphere in the hotel
Cons: Rooms are a bit basic but clean and comfortable

Zwolle is 23 km from Bloemenboerderij Aperloo, while Deventer is 47 km from the property. The nearest airport is Schiphol Airport, 108 km from the bed and breakfast.
Pros: I really liked the surroundings of the hotel's location. We travelled with our dog and he had a lot of space to run around. Very nice staff also, we agreed on the time for breakfast and she came to our room to bring it (quite a few choices and with warm bread). Very large bathroom and room.
Cons: Even though the bathroom was quite spacious, I didn't really like that the shower wasn't separate from the rest of the bathroom (it didn't have a cabin or a curtain).
Pros: Lovely rural location in an interesting, old farmhouse
Cons: Compared with similar properties in Holland, the hosts could have been more welcoming.
Pros: A very Nice appartment in a historical, nature area. Lovely living room, good shower and Nice beds.

Pros: Quiet location in the middle of the woods. Excellent breakfast. A bit dated decoration, but overall clean and comfy.
Cons: Nothing important really, except it starts looking a bit dated for a 4-star hotel, for example bathroom, carpets,... However, prices are OK, so value for money.
Pros: Breakfast was nice. Staff was very friendly. Rooms were very clean.
Cons: Quite a hard mattress, you could feel the springs as well. View wasn't great, I stayed on the forth floor and my view out the window was towards other rooms.
Pros: Alredy i have to stay in NH Hotels Wiesbaden Germany And this was expirience too Good
Cons: The whole stay
Pros: - good and tasty breakfast choice - comfortable bed - free parking - remote, but very nice location
Cons: nothing particular to mention
Pros: The hotel looks pretty from the outside but the rooms are dated from the 80s. That was very dissapointing! The restaurant had an old-fashion and outdated look too and at 22PM the staff didn't ask us to leave but we received the check without asking and the way they were doing their job was not welcoming which was very unplesant giving the fact we had a guest with us from abroad.
Cons: Our room was very outdated with only 1 powersocket.

Pros: We stayed in one of the lodges and it was perfect. Lovely waking up in nature. VERY quiet. The lodge is very cosy. Staff was friendly and food was good. Recommended.
Cons: No complaints whatsoever.
Pros: The breakfast in general is ok, waiting in line for a coffee is a bit awkward, the cups provided overflowed because the machines are badly adjusted ( or the cups too small ?? ). My wife has to eat Gluten free and they provided for her : two dry toasts and a packet of soy milk. A bit more imagination by the kitchen is paramount.
Cons: The food in the restaurant is of low quality. The " trout " consisted of two dry small fillets . My wifes dinner was a practically raw zucchini filled with quorn. Both were below par.
Pros: Fireplace in the room, nice bed, great decor true the whole hotel, a lot of forest en green just outside the hotel, great garden.
Cons: The swimming pool and sauna are outdated.
Pros: Comfortable bed and great grounds
Cons: Service of food in the evening a little slow

Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, dry cleaning/laundry services, and luggage storage. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Kind staff!
Cons: Very small room. Toilette with thin walls
Pros: I chose this hotel as I had been there once before and I was satisfied. The off-weekend price was excellent and upon the unplanned extension by one extra night the same rate was applied and a larger, quitter room was kindly offered at no extra costs. The first night's room was all in all ok for what I needed and expected. Also not really noisy; but I could hear the air conditioning pump placed close by working the whole night. And that disturbed a bit my sleep not being used to this noise. But for the second night staff helped and solved very well! I made use of the restaurant the 2nd evening and that was also good, despite the late hour arrival.
Cons: Knowing in advance to need a good rest, I asked for a quiet room when I reserved. I guess everyone does though. The buzzing noise from the air conditioning system unfortunately was a little disturbing.
Pros: Lovely quiet location, spacious room and good breakfast.

Pros: Very nice hotel with at a forrestal surrounding just on the edge of Nunspeet town, a 5 minute walk from the train station, lovely outdoor terrasse, great breakfast, friendly staff, free parking. Just a 15 minute walk to the city center with all the restaurants if you do not want to benefit from the hotel restaurant.
Pros: Most of the staff are really more than just nice:) The hotel is within a few minutes walk from the Nunspeet station and is surrounded by wonderful big trees with some benches to sit within the grounds. A lot of tables outside in the restaurant area. Relatively quiet, despite being situated by the local main road.
Cons: The top surface of the desk in the room had sticky marks from cups etc.. We didn't like any of our dishes in the restaurant:(
Pros: There is a restaurant in the hotel and dinner was great
Cons: Breakfast was not a great value for money; also, while checking in, it appeared that a tourist tax was still due and not included in the room price
Pros: Comfy beds and clean rooms.
Cons: No tea and iron provided which is standard.
Pros: Clean hotel, friendly staff.
Cons: A bit noisy.
Located in Hulshorst, Apollo Hotel Veluwe De Beyaerd is on a lake, within a 15-minute drive of Veluwemeer and Dolphinarium Harderwijk. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, dry cleaning/laundry services, and luggage storage. Free self parking is available onsite.

Pros: Arrived very late so did no see much of it but verry friendly reception
Pros: Friendly and helpful staff. Very clean room. Nice area around the hotel. Good value for money as we got a discount deal.
Cons: The two single beds were not stable enough thus they were moving a lot and same was for the small matresses on top of the main mattress. As it was summer and there was no airconditionin we had to keep the windows open to cool the room and there were many mosquitoes in the room. The water in the shower had fluctuations in the temperature and the flow was not strong enough. No mini fridge
When you stay at Fletcher Hotel-Restaurant De Mallejan in Vierhouten, you'll be 14 minutes by car from Dolphinarium Harderwijk. Featured amenities include laundry facilities, a library, and an elevator. Free self parking is available onsite.
Cons: Rooms are a bit old fashioned
Pros: comfortable beds, clean bathroom, atmospheric hotel and restaurant, friendly staff, free parking, solid breakfast, quiet at night,
Pros: The location is very beautifull and the staff is very friendly.
Pros: Nice location
Cons: Slow and unhelpful staff in the main. Tired, need refurbishment
Pros: The location is great and renting bikes from the hotel is easy. Staff are friendly enough, but understaffed at breakfast and no big welcome and hello or much enthusiasm from most of the reception staff.
Cons: The bathroom was so outdated and so incredibly basic, also very dirty fan outlet in the bathroom. No window that could open and no real working fan. Furniture in room is very outdated and also very worn and cheap, a wobbly cheap wardrobe and old carpet and terrible lighting and no sockets for easy access anywhere to charge phones etc. Very low quality or maybe just old and worn tv, does not work well with current HD programs so you can't really see much if anything is taking place in the dark. Single pain windows, so all noise travels straight into room. Very basic bedding. Which is all fine if that is what you expect and pay for but this is supposedly a four star hotel and prices are not basic level in the weekend. Ít needs a refurbishment.
Pros: Location, restaurant, comfortable room, pleasant staff
Cons: Lack of electric sockets in the room - needed in this electronic age to charge phones, iPads etc. No tea/ coffee making facilities in the room.
The De Foreesten is an ideal choice for travelers who want to take in the sights and sounds of Vierhouten. After a long day of sightseeing, guests can retire to the comfort of the hotel.
Pros: Friendly, attentive employees, eager to practice their English!
Cons: Missed a coffee maker and mini bar.
Pros: easy check in,
Cons: Breakfast was to late for me as I had to be away by 07.30hrs. They did make up a breakfast bag for me but it was very very basic.
Pros: The terras
Cons: Rooms were old and tired
Pros: Super friendly staff, although i was late for both check in and check out they didn’t mind.
Pros: Very good choice for breakfast. Location is perfect for cycling holidays from beautiful woods to sand dunes & heath land. Excellent menu for dinner.
Cons: It seemed difficult to get the correct amount of towels.
