the general standard of furnishings The double bed turned out to be two singles pushed together. The TV was a little confusing to operate.
easy to reach Iduna park stadium, 10min walk. we luckily met Shinji Kagawa at the reception in the hotel just after the match with Volksburg.Hotel stuff recommended us a nice Mongolian food restrant near the hotel. Baby bed. Nothing.
I love the bath tub and the beds are the best I´ve found. My back hurts a lot but I had no pain in the morning, which is a miracle. We slept to well and missed breakfast the two mornings we stayed at Mercure Hotel. We also missed the train to the airport because of this :)
very spacious room, very clean
Breakfast was excellent, my room was very spacious, with a superb bathroom. The layout of the bedroom was also good, and I loved the Reception area with its Christmas tree and festive atmosphere. The glass elevators are also very attractive. Room 308 did not have any drawer space to put clothes in, only hanging spare in the wardrobe
some of the staff were very nice and helpful; The gym is a joke, dont even think about bringing your gym-stuff; During my stay it was very hot in Dortmund and there is only this mini terrace out front the hotel in the bare heat, no umbrellas; I found the bed too short (they should check out Hilton or Marriott for their beds!); the TV too small and old; this hotel needs to loose a star and be downgraded;
friendly staff, good location, faultless service.
It was close to the Westfalenhallen The underground parking was very narrow and expensive.
Very quiet and comfortable hotel with decent sized rooms and very professional personal. Very nice breakfast.
Great location for the football
Its location for the football. only a couple of minutes walk from room to stadium.
The staff were very accommodating in allowing me to stay at the hotel until 4pm when I did not arrive there until 3am! Many hotels would have thrown me out at midday or charged me another day rate Best Western Parkhotel Westfalenhallen is a 4 star hotel, but also has a wing where the rooms are certainly not 4 star!
Everything was OK! Nice hotel - worth the money!
We had a very pleasent stay in the Parkhotel. Staff was very friendly. We booked a traditional room, which was much cheaper than the other rooms. These rooms are not renovated, but very acceptable. The rooms are not big. Breakfast was really nice! The sauna is very nice and neat. We asked for a non-smokingroom, but didn't receive this. I must add that all rooms were booked.
The room was spacious. Separate toilet and bathroom was also nice. The complimentray mini - bar of 2 beers, 2 waters and 2 juices is a very nice idea. Had food at night. Soup was cold and tasteless. Service was rushed and it felt as if I was intruding even though it was only about 21.00
nearest hotel to the soccer stadium. more than enough room space. restaurant service was slow during the lunch time which made some of the customers unhappy including myself.
The proximity of the hotel to the Westfalenhallen ice rink. The single rooms were very small, and a bit like a cell!
The hotel is ideally situated for events at the Westfalenhallen just 5 minutes from Hall 1. It is also 5 minutes from the Stadtbahn and bus stops for easy and cheap links to the city centre and minutes from the football stadium. I booked a standard room at a bargain rate which turned out to be a "traditional room" in the old, unrenovated wing. I worried about this but the room was fine if a little basic - more than adequate for my overnight stay. The included breakfast buffet was excellent and free mini bar (soft drinks & beer) & internet were also included in the rate. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel for a visit to the Westfalenhallen area. The soundproofing in the "old" wing is not particularly good and the wireless internet connection is a bit iffy (I sat in reception to get a better signal).
Lovely room and view, pretty gardens, friendly staff, close enough to underground, near to stadium & running track
One of various budget hotels in Dortmund. OK, they have free W-LAN and a free Premiere TV channel, but this money would have been better invested in quality of the housekeeping/cleaning staff and hairdryers in the rooms No Hairdryer in the room, no late check out possible (request was 1 pm instead noon), car parking fully occupied which seemed to be a common problem there
The hotel was clean, tidy, the design of room was fun. The breakfast was good.
Very close to the Signal Iduna Arena The manager/man on duty was very very rude
The staff we very friendly and spoke English! Wonderful breakfast.
a nice room and a verry good breakfast no
Parking your car is easy Free Internet Password thru SMS didn't work.
Clean and nice hotel with a good breakfast. Situated close to the Dortmund Messe. Underground station in front of the hotel enables good connection with the downtown.
Located next to U-bahn station, cheap breakfast, very funny room design
Not really good breakfast, noisy air conditioning system
staff were very pleasant. The hotel was very clean and quiet. The food was good.
