10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely large room with very comfy bed, room opened up out to a very beautiful garden. Hotel was very clean. Good variety of food for breakfast. Very friendly staff
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The secure car park made it very easy to access the hotel and the room. I was able to borrow an iron and ironing board and there were tea making facilities in the room. Milk was available on request. There was a swimming pool but we did not use it. The food in the restaurant was excellent but takes ages to serve.
Cons: The room was very hot and although the windows could be opened the room was on the ground floor and on a main road, so not really safe to sleep with windows open. There seemed to be hot water pipes running under the floor and a very heavy duvet on the bed, making sleeping difficult on a hot September night. The service in the restaurant was appalling - very slow and not at all helpful.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Nice large room. Nice staff. Food in restaurant exceptional.
Cons: As there isn't a bar a mini bar in the room would have been nice.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Comfortable bed, good ambience in room and bathroom. Very helpful staff who arranged a local doctors appointment for my wife, which solved the medical problem. Excellent indoor pool and hot tub, a bonus for a small hotel. Excellent restaurant and superb breakfast. Some English spoken, enough to get understood. Secure car park with gate access. Very clean hotel with good ambience and excellent decoration, especially the restaurant.
Cons: Nothing identified.

The sommelier suggested an excellent pairing to go with what he had ordered. The staff is very considerate, even to the point of closing the door to the breakfast room when they were vacuuming nearby.

Pros: Very good restaurant at hotel.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Food was excellent especially dinner
Cons: Wall mounted Air con soaked carpet below it and caused WC floor to be very slippery

Cons: Finding the property
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The owner was friendly and the room was large, very french in style and very clean. The breakfast was fresh with many homemade elements, even the yoghurt. It is off the beaten track and we would suggest you use the coordinates as they got us directly to the door. It’s a mix of modern and old style French which works beautifully. Our room was on the lower level and had a separate shower room.

Pros: Beautiful! Our lovely hosts could not do enough for us. The Manor is beautiful, historical, full of character , grand but homely, comfortable , peaceful, clean .The furnishings are all in keeping with the Manor and the rooms much larger than shown on the website. The breakfast was delicious with home made jams from fruits grown in the garden. They gave us a meal when we arrived, all home made food , again superb! The Manor is set in a beautiful quiet location, they provided us with bikes which we used to cycle around the local area. It has beautiful countryside and the cycle paths make it easy and safe to ride. The manor is also a short drive away from some lovely towns and set along the River Loire. We enjoyed kayaking down the River Loire and cycling to various Chateaux, cathedrals which are in abundance in this area. One of the most enjoyable holidays we have had. Highly recommend to stay in this unique, beautiful Manor . You will not be disappointed. Top quality.

9.3 Excellent
Pros: Lovely host Murielle looked after us beautifully and made us a cool drink on arrival as the area was in the middle of a heatwave. I love this place! Shabby chic rather than boutique, and so full of charm. Rooms very spacious. This felt more like staying with a friend than in a hotel. Because of the unusual heat, air conditioning or a fan would have been nice, but other than that, I can highly recmmend and will certainly stay there again if in the area.

7.5 Good
Pros: Interesting , clean and comfortable room. Pretty surroundings. Plenty of parking. Good location for site seeing.

Pros: The room looked very nice, however.....Ceiling very low in the room we had. We both hit our heads! We had to "duck" when getting into and out of bed.
Cons: The ceilings and beams were extremely low. Had to duck getting into bed, also I placed a pieces of clothing on two of the wooden pegs on the beams to remind us not to bump into them. Cons: ran out of pression beer, otherwise great hotel
3.3 Mediocre
Pros: Didn't really like anything. Location suited us because of our plans but it's not a nice location
Cons: The room and bathroom were both very small. The bedroom was much smaller than it appeared in photos. The room was very badly designed. If one person sat at the desk the other person couldn't get around the room. The description said that light refreshments were available in the rooms - this seemed to mean a small boiled sweet each. I found the lady on reception to be offputting and unfriendly. The hotel is on a roundabout so there is no view. There was air conditioning but I was told that I couldn't alter the setting and it was very cold. I really didn't like this hotel.

Cons: No fault of the hotel or management but some bastard in the car park stole the Retro G.P. plaque attached to my vintage race car on its trailer and had stood on the running board putting a crease in the metal.

7.5 Good
Pros: Friendly staff, good food and the place was as described & as per other reviews
Cons: Need air con!!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: This Hotel stems from a bygone era. Fortunately my era. An older design but maintained well within the usual resource constraints. The Staff were all great and helpful. They liked my bike and that was good enough for me. Two thumbs up. Character plus.
Cons: Any better and it would not have ticked the authenticity box.
7.0 Good
Pros: Hotel located a few minutes walk from the most attractive parts of this town including the market square and the chateau. Restaurant food was traditional French, reasonably priced and of good quality. Very friendly, relaxed service from all staff.
Cons: Parts of the hotel are rather dark and a bit tired in terms of furnishings and fittings.
6.3 Good
Pros: The car park and outside area were good.
Cons: On arrival we were greeted by a man who kept saying he was the boss who was very very drunk, and an annoying drunk. On leaving we were given a bill that charged us for breakfast for 5 people for 3 days. Only 3 of us had breakfast, which was very basic, on 1 morning and had paid cash at the time. The overcharge was 126 euros and after some discussion this was deducted.
