Pros: Location was set in a nice village setting, great pub, great food, great interior and especially a great breakfast.
Cons: Sort out the noise from the condensers that run though the night. It felt like I was in the bow of a ship. The light murmur through the night of the condensers running disturb my sleep. For that reason I would not go back to this hotel. I was staying though work and needed to make phone calls. there was no phone reception in my room and there was limited mobile phone connection and internet connection at the bar area.
7.1 Good
Cons: Room 5 has a loud generator outside of the window so I would ring and make sure you don’t get that room. It was loud throughout the night

Pros: Room was very nicely decorated, and the entire hotel was very pleasant. The staff were absolutely fabulous!, nothing was too much trouble....very highly commended.
Cons: Not the hotels fault, but be aware there can be patchy mobile signal in the area..
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were incredibly friendly. Only 10 minutes after we checked in (around 8pm on a Friday night) we headed down to the bar for food and drinks and they asked if we wanted to pay or put it on our room tab - we chose the latter and were amazed we didn't even have to provide our room number as they recognised us! It made it feel extra personal and on such a busy evening I wouldn't have expected that. Throughout the weekend all the staff were really friendly and helpful. The room was clean and had everything we needed.
Cons: Nothing, we really enjoyed our stay

7.1 Good
Pros: Good breakfast included
Cons: The heating was not on even though it got down to 2 degrees over night so the room was icy cold! Also there were no spare blankets or pillows in the cupboard for guests to use if needed. Was a very cold nights stay, which was the only downside
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Staff are lovely and service is good. Rooms are beautiful.
Cons: Could be a little cheaper
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfasts were excellent. The location was ideal.
Cons: The bathroom was clean but could do with renovating. Both the windows require replacing.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic bar food, friendly staff, especially Claire and it has a wonderful atmosphere to the hotel.
Cons: Probably carpets could be cleaned, and maybe in the future have streaming channels (Netflix) available etc.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Yes
Cons: No
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect for our one night stay. Everything was first class.
Cons: We could find no faults during our short visit.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: It was handy to get to but in a quiet location. Breakfast was very good.
5.4 Okay
Pros: Seeing all our family as we were staying at the hotel for my Sisters Wedding
Cons: As soon as we arrived the receptionist was very frosty and could have been more friendly, when we got to our room how disappointed we were the pictures on the website do not match with the actual rooms. We had paid extra to stay in a Superior Heritage Room and were really upset and disappointed as everything was old and in need of modernization. The bathroom was fair but the cleaner had forgotten to replace loo rolls and no shower cap as it was a rain shower and you could not use without your hair getting wet. The towels were not bath towels and were really small. Also the breakfast was luke warm as not prepared to order and consequently it was always dried out. Finally our parents who were also staying had a very cold room and had to wait 3 hours until heating was provided.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Beds really comfortable and lovely duvet and pillows. staff very helpful
4.6 Okay
Pros: Heritage room looked nice., although massive split in material on chair.
Cons: Take ear plugs, if you are staying here. If they have a wedding disco on, don't expect any sleep till the small hours of the morning. The walls and floor are so thin, you can hear everything. We arrived back at 10pm to find the disco in full swing, lovely for them, but not if you are trying to sleep, our floor was vibrating with the thump thump of the disco, so noisey. We checked out, never stayed. Upon handing our key in, we told the receptionist we were leaving because of the noise, apparently we were supposed to have received a phone call to inform us of the wedding/noise. We def did not receive a phone call, otherwise we would have wasted £109. Should not be a hotel.

Pros: The room was spacious, bright, airy, and clean. The beds were very comfortable.
Cons: The bathroom sink mechanism was broken. It took a while to work out how to drain the water. I handed the keys back to the staff right after checking in to get rid of the used towels left behind by the cleaners. When we went back at 10:30 p.m., the restaurant's doors were locked. It was lucky of me to catch just in time the two members of staff who were about to leave the premises. Otherwise, we wouldn't have been able to get into the building. Perhaps I could have been told, when I handed back the key, that there won't be anyone in the restaurant and all the doors would be closed by 10:00/10:30?

7.1 Good
Pros: Good breakfast included
Cons: The heating was not on even though it got down to 2 degrees over night so the room was icy cold! Also there were no spare blankets or pillows in the cupboard for guests to use if needed. Was a very cold nights stay, which was the only downside

Cons: Could be a little cheaper

Cons: The bathroom was clean but could do with renovating. Both the windows require replacing.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect for our one night stay. Everything was first class.
Cons: We could find no faults during our short visit.
