This was my first time in Dubai so I wasn't aware of how big it was. I chose this hotel cause it was in my price range and it still had a nice long pool. Once I got there the pool did not disappoint! It was very nice with shade and sun, full service and quiet! The staff here we're very friendly and helpful. The was great, much better than other hotel breakfasts. The room was large and so was the bathroom. I didn't try the restaurants at the hotel but they were always busy so I'm assuming they were good! The subway was right down the street. Overall this was a great place to stay and I would highly recommend staying here!
The bed was a little hard and the room had a funny smell. I had mentioned to the staff that it was a little warm in my room and I attempted to turn down the AC but that didn't work. I think the building is climate controlled and it was a little warm for me. Also I didn't appreciate that they charged me to print out two pages worth of vouchers for a tour. If you are familiar with Dubai and you know the Bur Dubai area then this is a great hotel. If you are not familiar with the city then realize that this is in the old part of town. The new/modern part of the city is about an hour away with traffic. Although it is close to the subway it is still very inconvenient to get to the more tourist areas.
Room was fab. Very clean and good location to Dubai mall and airport
Hotel transfer was v expensive. Hotel staff tell you excessive price for taxi trip and then get you a driver. You don't realise you're being ripped off until you get into a metered cab. Insist on a metered trip every time and just get s cab from airport.
Great view of the city, close to train station, great employees , great atmosphere
Our stay at the Majestic was perfect it was our first visit to Dubai and would definetly stay again at the Majestic. It was easy access to the shopping mall, the Old Dubai and not far from the Airport. Top marks
Room (1712) was very clean and comfortable, with a fantastic view. Buffet breakfast was excellent. Location of hotel was great.
The bath towels were small and worn.
Fantastic view from our balcony of the Dubai Skyline & Burj Khalifa. Wonderful! Room was very clean & spacious. Hotel provides free transfers in the morning to some of the highlights on a weekly schedule. Very efficient.
Trying to get into one of the 2 elevators is really only a problem in the morning around check out time. Other than that we never had to wait long in the week that we stayed here.
Hotel has many facielities how to spend time there, swimingpool, rock pub, few restaurants, you will not be bored there...
somethimes longer waiting time for lift, but it was not so "terribille"
the enviroment of the room
staff very friendly and servicable
not children friendly ie. not much for children to do ie. activities and also TV did not have any children's channels
Very good room.
Everything was perfect.
breakfast ended too early 10:30 some staff could be a little more professional in the way they answer your questions
After agreeing for late chech out- there must be some kind of acknowledgment. We were lock out of our room.
