The location is good for the convenience of Dublin airport. The rooms are clean and pretty comfortable for your money. The bathrooms are nice and the showers work well.
The staff was rude from pick up to departure. The airport shuttle driver did not assist in loading or unloading any of the luggage from the car. The restaurant and all food service end early so if you have a late flight and want to grab a snack your options are McDonald's and gas station. But god forbid you try to eat your food on a table in the bar area. The staff very rudely kicked myself and my friend out of the bar for trying to eat at a table and when we explained we would be ordering drinks from the bar and just wanted to snack since they were no longer serving food. We were told we could take our food upstairs. Eat at the desk in our room and then come back and order drinks. We did not come back downstairs. The front staff was unresponsive and very short with us. And also tried to double charge both myself and friend when our rooms were prepaid. I would not recommend this hotel based on their staff alone. Besides that, it's a pretty straight forward business layover hotel.
Staff was very friendly and the hotel was clean. I would definitely stay here again on a layover in Dublin or with an early/late flight. We walked there from the terminal in a few minutes!
This is a wonderful place going to or coming from the airport. Literally a 5 minute walk away from the airport, it's comfortable, it has excellent food, and it's an easy place to get to the rest of Dublin from.
nice bar and restaurant staff...
tiny, uncomfortable beds and limited bell staff
Nice spacious rooms. Very friendly staff.
The shuttle bus only runs every half hour. The Radisson hotel (located just across the street) shuttle runs more frequently. Check in and check out was very, very slow. The Maldron website said that breakfast was served until 11 a.m. on weekends. This information is incorrect as breakfast is only served to 10:30 a.m.
Proximity to airport Excellent staff Shuttle to and from airport Walking distance to and from airport
A bit pricey for the location but the convenience was what was being paid for.
The Maldron was exactly as expected: a very comfortable, extremely well located hotel. The lobby and restaurants were very busy, while the rooms were quiet and relaxing. Staying there gave us an opportunity to return the rental car, complete the packing, and rest the night before knowing that we were totally prepared. A perfect place to await your flight.
The shuttle was very helpful to get to the airport for an early morning fight.
We had dinner at the restaurant. It was a fixed menu which is understandable due to how busy the hotel was. The food was decent. This was after dining at great places across Ireland. The bar had a nice atmosphere.
proximity to airport and shuttle. guest rooms were a floor below check in and there was no elevator ,halls were poorly marked for descending staircase.
Staff was extremely friendly, very helpful, very efficient.
Internet service was free, but it was very slow.
The building acoustics could be improved. When I go back I would get a room at the end of the corridor.
