the location, pretty close to the downtown
The breakfast and our room situated almost in the basement.
the staff were very friendly
The staff were excellent. Very friendly and helpful and the breakfasts were beautifully cooked and presented.
The bathroom was miniscule- hardly room to dry oneself. The room was a bit "tired" - lots of scratch marks on the walls - but the quality of the service made one prepared to overlook the cosmetics!
The hotel was conveniently situated and offered neat and value for money accommodation.
The wooden florrs and staircases can be troublesome if you're not on the top floor and people are moving around on the floor above you.
Our room on arrival was smelling of cigarette smoke which was quite annoying as we asked for non smoking but when i brought it to the attention of the staff, i was not making a complaint, they were very quick to move us to a more suitable room. We were very pleased with the customer service we received. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay.
It was a bit noisy but that was to be expected considering the location of the hotel. Apart from that we had no problems.
breakfast was good and very close to town center and staff very friendly
the stairs we were up the top and on the the internet said there was sky tv but we did not have it
The tipical irish breakfast served and the location, right in the centre of Dublin
The room-though it was clean and just redecorated- was in the basement, so no view and a little bit humid
The central location and kind staff
poor bed madrass and no chair available breakfast can be improved. Selfservice ex.
This is a really authentic B&B, with a full home-made Irish breakfast served - which is really nice, since fewer and fewer B&B's are offering this. The location is just great - right in the city center. This location was the main reason for us to book our stay in this hotel - convinience of getting to all attractions could not be better !
Services/facilites are adequate for a typical B&B in Dublin - they have been upgraded, but few more appliances could be more "up to date" (unlike, 10-15 years old ones). With this in mind, the price of Otello could be lower - since there are few more modernized hotels (bigger chains) who are offering exact same price with a little more upgrades.
