We loved where the hotel was located, very central to shopping, within walking distance of major tourist attractions and plenty of restaurants and pubs around. We enjoyed the room overall and we we're comfortable. We got a room facing the road but on the top floor so no noise from the outside. We didn't notice fellow travellers much either so no disturbances that way. The breakfast was nice, only cold meats but toast, egg dishes, yogurts, cereals, fruit, juice, and coffee is not a bad buffet for 5€; most other options for breakfast in the area are "traditional Irish breakfasts" with less food for around 8€ a meal, good for some but just not what we wanted.
We did not like the shower in the room which would have been fine but the door was broken so we had to be really careful getting out because there was water on the floor. The water pressure was also strange ranging from a steady straight line at a normal pace to full shower head at full blast every 2-3 seconds. One other small complaint was that they did not provide a card to place on the door if you did not want room service. We had our towels/sheets changed one day and the next didn't leave the hotel until 2pm and assumed room service was not coming ( which was good as we did not want it at the time ) but when we came back the room had been cleaned and things moved and clean towels changed. Other than that the staff was helpful but not extremely friendly. Overall though we we're left alone and enjoyed the stay.
i did not like anything, it was horrible
everything, im all for cheap budget hotels and hate expensive fancy ones but this was rotten and would never recommend anyone staying here. first room had no light working in bathroom, was freezing and amp everywhere and electrics didnt work, they changed us to a room that the bed had missing more than half its springs , was like sleeping in a pothole, room was freezing, and the walls were black with dampness, they were painted white but were mostly black, never stay here
Shopping and everything you need close to the hotell
Room and overall facilities OK and full Irish breakfast was excellent value.
Wifi not available in rooms and hot water in washbasin did not work.
Great value for money, excellent location
Situated in the center of Dublin, short distances and easy acces to busses and trams to airport and railway stations
Staff wasn´t very motivated, breakfast room was uncomfortable, renovation needs to be done.
Cheap, cheerful; provided what it said it would.
Slight disappointment with cooked breakfast; only scrambled egg on toast available each day. However, large selection of croissants, scones, bread etc.
Location was Ok
Heater appliance not working in room, very cold
Nothing stands out
No Bar or coffee/tea in room. We were situated in the basement next to the toliets and the main air vent was outside bedroom window which was very noisy. Would have complained but no staff spoke very good english
Staff is friendly. Double bed is comfortable. Very close to 5euro airport shuttle. Hight ceilings. Extra bedding. WiFi available 10euro in room. Free internet at brown hostel next door.
Shower is a bit small for a large bathroom. No lift, but this is what is expected at this price. No available power adapters.
