Pros: Amazing, hands down the best hotel experience I've ever had. World class staff, facilities and rooms.
The Merrion is located on Merrion Street Upper, across from the Government Buildings. St. Stephen's Green is a 3-minute walk in one direction, the National Museum of Ireland a similar distance in the other. Guests can also walk 10 minutes to the shops of Grafton Street.
Pros: Breakfast was good American style not the typical European with just meat cheese.

Pros: Great location, very pleasant staff, spacious room (especially by European standards). Very nice hotel.
Cons: Nitpick: bathroom could have used a little updating.
Pros: concierge recommendations
Cons: Very small room with minimal closet space and walking space and a step down to get to the bathroom
Had larger room for less money on my 5 previous stays here
Pros: The location couldn't be more central. It's luxury accommodation with top class food and service and all the extras you could imagine
Cons: Not enough power points/sockets in the room for a modern tech age. The AC unit had mold on it
Pros: Staff were very attentive in all areas reception, restaurant, etc
Pros: Breakfast was wonderful
Staff (especially Tommy on front desk) were very helpful
Cons: Handicap room, which was not suited for others with low and very small sink. Shower type assured water to go over the floor.

Pros: 1st they are SO ACCOMODATING. Thanks to guest services, concierge DENNIS :-0 and the crew plus the front door attendants, managers, housekeeping are all amazing. Guest Service Rep came to greet us and had the goats milk avail for my daughter. In the USA we can only purchase at select store and did not realize it was more common to have in Dublin. We have made Dublin-the Shelbourne as our #1 headquarters. The quality of our stay, the fact they have vetted services for a nanny, great food, amazing polite service from all departments simply speaks volumes. Mr. Hanley and his staff at this fine establishment continue to amaze me. I really appreciate the peace of mind they bring to me and my little 1 and 2 year old children each visit. We surely feel special and love the amazing spacious rooms. THANK YOU ALL!! See you again next year.
Cons: I have only positive things to communicate. They can keep up the great work. Great food options, great concierge, guest services, housekeeping, food services.....blessings to you all!
Pros: Location is perfect but a bit overpriced for what you get. Room was a nice size and staff was very friendly. I think it is better without kids.
Cons: Overpriced a bit for what you get. Had to call to have room made up after being out from 9:30-3:0 during the day... I guess someone just forgot.
Pros: The staff was incredibly accommodating and pleasant.
Pros: The hotel is grand and no detail is overlooked. The breakfast was superb but still talking of the impeccable service. A perfect 10 all around.
Cons: When I arrived at 10AM, there was no room ready (understandable), but when I returned in the afternoon, I was shown to a room with a worker working on scaffolding directly outside my window. The second room was fine, but I was disappointed that the clerk had initially no problem assuming he could leave us in a room where we could all wave to a worker!
Pros: It was a gorgeous hotel - the breakfast was a bit pricey but it was lovely
Pros: Breakfast was insanely good, the best part of our stay.

Pros: The breakfast buffet was great with lots of options. The room was large and comfortable.
Cons: The hotel is within walking distance to all of the sights, but is about a 10 minute walk (depending on how fast you walk). We love to walk so the location was fine for us, but it felt far after a night in Temple Bar.
Pros: By the train station
Cons: There was no plugs for hair tools and phone charging
Cons: There was confusion too how many people we had in our party and had to pay an extra 30 euros and it took an extra long time to clear up the confusion after a long day of travel.
Pros: Staff was helpful and excellent. Rooms were very clean. Accommodations were up to date.
Cons: Triple room was somewhat cramped.
Pros: We loved the room, the views, the quiet, the location.
Close to the train station. The bed was so comfy!
Also right near the landmark pub Nancy's Hand.
The room design is outstanding!
The bathroom was huge!
We loved it here.
Cons: There had a been some flooding from outside and it went into the hotel lobby on the day we arrived and it smelled horrible it was most likely sewer water. he smell only affected the area by the front door and the smell was gone by the time we left two days later.
The hotel had professionals cleaners working on it as fast as possible.
We would stay here again. The flooding was not there fault.
Pros: Location,breakfast,bedroom was nice size
Pros: Friendly and accommodating staff. Comfortable room with a very nice view onto the front garden. Breakfast extravaganza. Very convenient to all Dublin attractions. We loved it. Highly recommend.
Pros: Breakfast was great
Cons: The water pressure was really low, everything took several flushes.
The surrounding area is great location wise, but at night it seems a bit rough. The hotel is very safe.
Cons: Lighting was bad for putting on makeup
Pros: Hotel is an excellent choice when visiting Dublin. It has excellent service, very clean, and good restaurant. Although it is not close to where most of the nightlife is there is an excellent local pub 2 blocks away and it is located on the local Luas light rail line which provides quick access to most of Dublin's tourist attractions.
Cons: Slightly removed from what they call City Center
Pros: It's location was a prime factor in our decision. Phoenix Park was very close by, as was Guinness and The Old Jamison Distillery. Right near the train station and tram stop so access the further parts of thecity and country were 5 minutes away. We'd stay there again.
Pros: The beautiful floors, lovely rooms with tea, hair dryer and iron and ironing board...all welcome when travelling. Our flight left early morning and because we would miss breakfast, they packed us a boxed lunch.
We did walk from O'Connell street and it is 20 to 30 minutes....but even with all our luggage it was fun.. A plus is that it is close to Heuston Sation and all excellent bus services. An unexpected treat for us was seeing The Dublin Zoo ( amazing) and The Pheonix Gardens....about 5 minutes away.
Ashling Hotel Dublin is on the stately north bank of the River Liffey, a 5-minute walk from Heuston Station, and a 5-minute tram ride from the city center. Guests can easily walk to many of Dublin's top attractions, from the Guinness Storehouse to the 11th-century Christchurch Cathedral.
Pros: The hotel is located in central Dublin and within walking distance of Trinity College as well as the National Museum. The staff is friendly and very helpful. We got in very early and there is a lounge downstairs with internet, couches, etc. They brought us a tray with tea and coffee which was lovely! I would highly recommend this hotel.
Pros: Location and Staff
Cons: Expensive Breakfast
Pros: Brooks is a beautiful hotel in central Dublin. We walked to Dublin castle and business. There's tons of shopping and restaurants nearby. We also walked to Kilmainen gaol, but we took the bus back. We were on the street side but it was quiet at night. Beautiful older hotel with modern amenities!

Pros: Great hotel! The staff was very friendly and helpful, polite, and engaging. I particularly liked how they helped direct us around Dublin to the places we wanted to visit. Excellent service!
Pros: The location was pretty good. The room was clean.

Outside our hotel is one of Dublin's largest commercial areas and the beautiful St. Stephen's Green. Conrad Dublin is only minutes away on foot from the fashionable Grafton Street. For those interested in Dublin's cultural heritage, Trinity College, the National Art Gallery, the National History Museum and Georgian Dublin are in the immediate vicinity. For a more casual evening, Alfie Byrne's by Galway Bay Brewery is the perfect setting, renowned for craft beers and Irish whiskeys. Guests enjoy 24-hour access to the state-of-the-art cardio fitness center.
Cons: Staff were all very nice, but seemed like they needed training, particularly in the restaurant. Often no one attending the lobby, at check in, or concierge. On check out, no-one asked how was the stay, and not even to-go coffee available (which is almost standard expectation these days, even in lower quality hotels). Tried calling room service & was told they would call me back, after 10 mins I called them back to say don't bother. Breakfast is really expensive, supposed to start at 7am .. I wanted an omlette ... Was told by waitress that I needed "to ask the omlette guy" at the buffet , he didn't show up til 720am. I asked him if I could have toast with the omlette, he said "you need to ask the waitress" ... It was more Fawlty Towers than Four Seasons
Pros: Rooms were huge, staff was totally on point, the indoor pool was an unexpected benefit. Bar is busy most times, it's fun to hang out at the hotel.
Cons: Location isn't ideal for tourists. It's a 30-45 walk from most major destinations, and cabs are pricey. Otherwise, stay was perfect.

Pros: Can't beat the excellent location on St. Stephen's Green and Grafton Street. Staff is very professional and efficient. Rooms are nicely appointed, if a little small for two adults. Breakfast was excellent with great and friendly service. Would definitely stay here again and will recommend to my friends.
Cons: Rooms are small and awkward space for two adults.
Pros: Location was great, just off the main street (Grafton). Shower pressure was amazing. Staff very attentive.
Cons: Rooms are smallish when compared to the Fitzwilliam in Belfast. This might be the average room size for this type of room in Dublin.
Pros: Great location. Comfortable. Great staff.
Pros: The location was great and the staff was very nice.
Cons: For $385 per night the room was small, the bathrooms were quirky and bfast should be included...

Pros: When I checked in everything went fast and I could easily access the Internet in my room and I didn't face any issue to call the reception to fix it.
Cons: Once when I left my room early in the morning and returned around noon my room wasn't tidy, so after that I always put the "Tidy My Room" sign when I left my room. This is not that much bad but I expected it.
Pros: Modern, convenient, clean, safe. Will definitely stay here again.
Cons: Walls are thin. Heard many conversations from next room. Also Oly's Restaurant is mediocre. Acceptable if you're too knackered to go out.
Pros: Great back-up to the Spencer next door if you're strapped for time/rooms aren't available there.
Courteous staff that will do anything to accommodate your needs.
Cons: For the price, you can do better in Dublin.
Had to ask for toothbrush, tooth paste, bottled water. I feel like those are pretty standard, though maybe that's not typical in Dublin.

Pros: Cookie upon arrival. Staff tried to be helpful when we had to move rooms due to building noise from the fire escape which was next to our room. The gym was clean and well equipped.
Cons: The hotel is in a process of refurbishment so only the 4th floor was in use during our stay. The hammering and drilling started at 8am on both days we stayed and despite moving rooms it was like being on a building site.
The beds at the hotel were the hardest I have ever slept on, I have been very fortunate to have travelled all over the world with my job so have slept in many hotels but this bed ranked as one of the worst!
We were in room 400 (on the 4th floor) which was the furthest room from the elevator. Annoyingly it was too far for the wifi to stretch so we were forced to sit in the lobby to get online. Overall our stay was very disappointing and we won't return to this hotel in future.
