10.0 Excellent
Pros: Centrally located. Great restaurants. Lovely garden. Spacious rooms. Breakfast was lovely. And our host very caring. She drove us to the train station after we returned our hire car!
Cons: Only suggestion is to post suggesting guests ‘ring the door bell’ on arrival.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The Owners of the delightful residence were welcoming, charming, hospitable and very informative on the town and surrounding countryside. The bedroom was spacious, clean and bright. The bed was most comfortable and the bathroom facilities were excellent. The breakfast was very good, in the French style of course, and boasted some tasty home-made jams and other delicacies. The house boasts of a beautiful garden into which we were invited to relax and take the late afternoon sun - very restful after a long day's travelling.
Cons: It is difficult to improve upon perfection!!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The personal touch and breakfast

9.5 Excellent
Pros: Really friendly/helpful hosts (Steve & Dawn), good restaurant recommendation, good facilities if staying longer (we were passing through for one night only). Excellent/ample breakfast included home grown fruits.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Our stay with Dawn & Steve was just fantastique! Both are very nice, kind and open, and trying their very best to make your stay perfect. Breakfast was great with homemade jam & bread, the plate of fresh cut fruit was a delight. The kids loved playing in the pool and caress Kitty. I highly recommend "Le Jardin"
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A lovely peaceful rural retreat. We were fortunate to be accommodated in a detached house which had lounge and kitchen on the ground floor, 2 double bedrooms first floor with bathroom and separate toilet. Also if we wanted we could use the 2nd floor (roof space) which again had lovely toilet and shower facilities with a number of single beds. There was a large garden to sit and relax in while being entertained by the families Labrador and cat play fighting. Dawn and Steve were wonderful hosts and served a delightful daily breakfast. Dawn at our request prepared an evening meal one night which again was top quality. A big thanks to them both from the 4 of us which included 2 Australian relatives. We will certainly return
Cons: No adverse comments whatsoever
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The "apartment" was actually the whole house and our host brought breakfast to us in the morning and it was delicious. It was a lovely old house with two full bathrooms which was great for the six of us and the top two rooms were adjoining which my kids really liked. There is a large garden where we sat our to eat and games for my kids to play and space to run around. The hosts were absolutely delightful and I have to admit that it was very nice to have a conversation in English and get to know them a bit. It was a close drive to Mont-Saint-Michel and I only wish we had stayed more than one night there!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We stayed for one night in this lovely b&b. The house was very comfortable and well equipped. The garden was a great place to go for a walk, sit and relax, have a dip in the pool or play pitanque/table tennis. The satellite tv was a bonus. The beds are very comfortable and we all slept very well. We enjoyed the delicious breakfast the next morning. Dawn and Steve are wonderful hosts and are very welcoming.
Cons: Nothing. We would have liked to stay longer!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Our stay at Le Jardin B&B was beyond our wildest hopes in terms of comfort, convenience, and family-friendliness. The kids enjoyed running around outside and playing in the pool and we were all charmed by the country setting and the gorgeous structure and decor of the homes. Our hosts were so friendly and accommodating and the breakfast they provided was delicious: fresh fruit, flaky pastries and homemade jam! I wish we had planned to stay longer.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Our stay at the property was a very nice experience. The house is styled in the local traditional way and is situated in a very quiet area. The rooms are very comfortable, the kitchen is huge and is equipped with everything one might need. Everything is perfectly clean and thoroughly prepared for the guests. The owners are very nice and friendly people, they have made us feel at home. They have also served us a very good breakfast. When getting there, do use the Google Maps link, provided by the owners in the confirmation email, as you might be misled by navigation. The house is close to the main attractions of Normandy, so it is a great option to stay while visiting the region. We were very happy we have chosen this property for our stay and will definitely come back!
Cons: Nothing to mention. The whole family was very happy.

Pros: Location and local food.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Cozy little room 10 minute drive from Mont Saint Michel, the whole reason we stayed there.
Cons: Maybe a better wifi router. We were on the top floor and barely got wifi signal and since the signal was so low, the speed was degraded as well
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Transit location, very close by car to Mont Saint Michel, welcoming host
Cons: location outside of village/town
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was a very comfortable, homey feel to the place. The breakfast was delicious.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: BBQ on site! Pancakes for breakfast! Perfect.
7.5 Good
Pros: Great position, view of Mont St Michel from bedroom, good bathroom and very comfortable bed. Clan and well equipped. Friendly and welcoming hostess, who gave good information verbally, plus a folder of useful info which was unfortunately all in French (yes I know we were in France) but with google-translate we could work out some of it.
Cons: Felt that breakfast was an afterthought rather than an important part of a B and B type lodging. Warm yoghurt, bread/croissant and jam, and coffee. Measured against other properties this trip, it fell short unfortunately.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: breakfast was good. location was good
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was very rich! And the host was very nice! She also put a fan in rhe room wich was very helpful because it was very hot outside.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: This property was a good location in relation to Mont St. Michel - about a 10 minute drive. The room, including the bathroom, was spacious and completely adequate. Our host was very friendly and accommodating. We arrived before the allocated check-in time, but allowed us to leave our items, which was very helpful. Breakfast was fine - nothing special, but OK.
Cons: I really have no complaints - this property is 'as advertised'. Just be aware, this is out in the country and there are some farm animals, so you will be awakened by a rooster early in the morning!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean, comfortable room in a pleasant hotel close to Mont Saint Michel. Dinner available at the hotel. Very friendly hosts.

9.3 Excellent
Pros: The property was easy to find and super comfy, it’s on a nice quiet village but there are restaurants around which was a concern for us just stopping for the one night. The Madame of the house was welcoming and friendly as well. Was there with my wife and child, for a family holiday and had decided to visit mont st Michel again, the location of the house is brill for that as well. The breakfast was ok, good selection and the coffee was nice as well. Bread was fresh and the cereal and milk was nice to have also.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Location is just perfect, for visiting Mont Saint-Michel (10 minutes by car), safe parking, nice owner, peacful landscape, and nice house! I recommend it :)
Cons: Very intensive (but good) smell - like scented thumbs or something... So we opened the window and it was much better.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great, cozy stay. Easy to communicate with the host and find the place. Amazing large bathroom and breakfast was delicious.
10.0 Excellent

9.5 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic breakfast. Spacious accommodation, with the ability to rent the entire place.
Cons: Nothing, a lovely place.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful place in the countryside, superbly located 10km from Mont Saint-Michel. Owner Martine couldn't be more friendly or helpful. She has thought about so many little details to make a stay easier for families, including a fridge and micro-wave and kettle in the Guenievre room to make your own breakfast, should you wish to.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The hostess was super nice and came out to greet you upon arrival. She let us pet her dog and she was keen on giving us as much information as possible, both regarding the room and facilities, as well as the village we were located in. The b&b was located with beautiful surroundings so it was a great place to take walks in the evening. Great parking at the b&b. The room was big and comfortable and the private bathroom the same.
Cons: The shower was scolding hot, but maybe we didn’t find where to adjust it. The bed was a bit small for two people, but ok. The breakfast was very French in the way that you didn’t stay full for very long.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Ambience and hospitality. Breakfast was very good and contained local typical items.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: nice quiet rural location handy to visit mont st michael good breakfast
Cons: because it is residential house the walls are thin and the wooden floor boards creak a bit so you can hear guests moving around in room next door. if a light sleeper then bring ear plugs but otherwise was really good place
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was just perfect! It’s a really good option if you are planning to visit Le Mont Saint-Michel.

8.8 Excellent
Pros: Splendid breakfast, calm surroundings, close to Saint-Michel, easy to find.
Cons: Phone network is absent or too poor but it is a very common problem for this kind of regions in France, so be ready to see 'No service' in the top bar of your smart phone, without event talking about 4G, 3G, - it is very unstable, only Edge is available jumping to 3G, 4G in 1 meter distance and disappearing again. One more point - the bathroom (shower) is not separate from the sleeping room. We had 2 separate rooms with the same 'configuration'.

7.5 Good
Pros: Lovely and welcoming French family. Peaceful place, lovely garden. Rooms are very big, there is even a separate room with TV and other amenities. It certainly helps to be able to speak/understand French, but we managed with English. Breakfast was really great! Highly recommendable.
Cons: Not a downside, but be aware that the location is in a rather remote rural area just off Avranches. Great if you want to explore Normandy/D-Day to the East and Mont St.Michel to the West (which was what I wanted to do). Less so if you love partying or fancy a bustling street just around the corner!

8.8 Excellent
Pros: Quiet village location just 5 minutes from the Motorway at Avranches, comfortable & clean with nice breakfast on terrace overlooking the garden; friendly & pleasant staff.
Cons: We stayed on a Sunday evening, so the restaurant wasn't open and although we were recommended to try a couple in nearby villages, they couldn't accommodate us at the right time, so we ended up in a dreadful chain restaurant by the motorway. Needless to say, none of this reflects poorly on our hotel!

9.5 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was a short walk from the town centre. The rooms looked out onto lovely gardens. Car parking was good. A wonderful collection of copper and brass items in the bar area.
Cons: Having eaten well during the day we only wanted something light for supper and we had noticed a couple having a plate of food at the bar and asked if we could do the same. The male manager declined saying that the two people were his friends. The manager was not the happiest of people and we found that usually where the staff were all women, the atmosphere was more congenial.

Pros: Pleasant, helpful staff and location convenient for main road without traffic noise. Parking right outside and plentiful as very few guests staying - bit like Marie Celeste but very quiet. Variety of friteries and restaurants along road down to Mont St Michel , but nothing within walking distance.
Cons: Very few amenities- no bar, no restaurant, no tea / coffee unless having breakfast. Only a small vending machine with cold drinks / snacks. Husband disabled so requested ground floor or near lift- unable to fulfill request but given room on first floot just at top of stairs which were thankfully wide, shallow and few.

8.0 Excellent
Cons: finding the mobile home was quite difficult by late night as there's no clear signs, it will be better if there's a map at the entrance to clearly show mobile homes locations
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Proximity to Mont St Michel and price was the initial draw to this property.
Cons: The 8 euro charge per bedding sheet set was not fully understood when we booked the room. A charge of 8 euros for an entire laundry load of sheets seems more reasonable. The staff was helpful.

8.3 Excellent
Pros: Staff friendly amenities very good would go back again central to other towns and villages
5.5 Okay
Cons: Heavyweight check-in and check-out process. You need to make an appointment to check-out! After booking you get an email drawing your attention to the fact that your rental can't be used "as-is". You need to pay an extra 8EUR a day for sheets, and 50EUR to clean it unless you bring your own sheets and cleaning supplies! So in our case the un-refundable price they are eager to charge on your card had to be increased by 40% just to use the place! There is a name for this kind of holiday rentals: SCAMS. They have taken the "mini-bar" concept to new heights, with items scattered all other the place that if you use/touch you will be charged for at the end of your stay! TOILET PAPER NOT INCLUDED.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very family friendly. Lots for kids to do. Close to great sights, but still away from busy cities.

Pros: The 500 year old country home, practically in the shadow of Mont Saint Michel, was a treat beyond compare. We followed advice from another review and asked for a reservation for dinner as well as breakfast— don’t miss the opportunity! It was a superlative experience to have a scrumptious dinner, expertly prepared and beautifully served in the historic home of real Frenchmen. We delighted in every moment.

The breakfast was one of the best we have had in France. The selection was great. We can highly recommend the excellent homemade Raspberry Jam. The staff were really helpful and friendly.

Cons: Rooms a little dated
5.5 Okay
Pros: Hotel is ideal rest stop after long drive to Mont st Michel. Reception lady was kind and helpful. Sorry not much to like about this place.
Cons: Room: No air conditioning, no hair dryer, no kettle and no tea/coffee making facilities and no fridge. Bathroom is big but toilet seat is partly broken(parts missing). Shower pressure was very weak. Breakfast is very limited and not great except the home made jam was good. Parking is not free(i was lucky to have found free parking on the road). Check in times is not flexible.....no one at reception on certain times meaning doors locked and you won't be allowed in if you arrived early or late. Feels more like a hostel at best and not 2 star.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was excellent and the location convenient for the town. Adequate parking
Cons: Nothing really.
