Hotel owners were just wonderful and spoke English which was so helpful. Having drinks on the patio in the backyard was idyllic. Dinner was very good. (Included) breakfast buffet was good, including excellent coffee. The town of Dudeldorf is a very charming place -- we adored it. The town belltower is close to the hotel and the bells ring for a while every morning starting at 7 am. We didn't mind (we were getting up at 7 anyway), but it is good to be aware of this. There was some jet noise from the somewhat nearby air base, but it was not that bad (we enjoy plane spotting, so we did not mind at all). The hair dryers were low-powered.
Good location in the village Owner has messed up booking and did not have our room for 3 available so we had to split up the family between 2 smaller rooms. They were apologetic, but it was a pity that this happened. Also a late arrival at 8:45 pm made dinner timing difficult and we waited some time for service. Breakfast was better.
the warm welcome and efficient staff the make your stay relaxing and enjoyable.... this being our second trip we had another excellent two day stay lovely food and super surroundings. no
Freindly host. Good price. Checkin an late night entry.
the village in which it is located is charming!
Nice and friendly hotel-staff. The rooms are large, comfortable and romantic decorated. Restaurant is good. Hotel is situated in a nice old village-centre in a quiet environment. Surely an hotel to go to for a week(end) of rest and relaxation A little bit annoying is the fact that the hotel has no lift. Therefore you (with luggage) have to cross a corridor and climb 3 stairs before you reach the 3rd floor.
large and clean family-room, friendly staff, excellent cuisine
Very friendly owners Beautiful location Very peaceful I liked everything about it!
De overdekte sportfaciliteiten: squash, tennis, groot zwembad, ... .
Very good value for money, many sports/wellness activities, extensive kids program, good base to explore Eiffel region
The accommodation rooms were spacious, well appointed and overall provided a feeling of luxury Views of the lake were limited, and there was a very long walk from the accommodation area to the restaurants and bar.
It is a great place for family bonding. There is enough to do for everyone - all age groups. The staff are friendly and accommodating. The champagne breakfast buffet is excellent. The international buffet in the evening has the right balance and amount of starters, main dishes and desserts. The hotel side is great for the convenience it offers but the apartments are perfect for a family particularly with little children.
The price is good. The pool is large and pretty. Our room was cool and kid friendly. Overall it was really excellent.
Excellent Food , Location, Comfort of Room
Good facilities, great location..Stayed in cottages which are excellent value and relaxing..health spa was excellent and price very reasonable...Note 99% of guests use the facilities of health suite nude...email beforehand and they will send a list of activities for guests and kids activities..Good terrace restaurant. Good for a hotel to offer services as an extra benefit and notto charge extortionate prices for these services. Room had not been used for a while so there were cobwebs and spiders .The room was clean but needed a "spruce up" before arrival
Lake, pool, and restaraunt were excellent No heat in cabin and very little hot water.
Excellent staff. Swimming pool. Prices of meals. Size of portion from a la carte menu. Check out time of 10:00.
We stayed Wed. & Thurs nights and the apartment we stayed in (#501) was absolutely excellent especially since we only paid 38 per night. It had a small kitchenette that was well equipped, two pretty comfortable sofa beds, a separate bedroom and a beautiful small bathroom equipped with hairdryer and sundries. The staff was extremely helpful, everyone spoke English and the pool was absolutely gorgeous (pool entry was included in the price- just remember to bring towels with you to the pool as there are none poolside). The apartment and Landhause are separated from the main hotel which is not a problem (you can use enclosed walkways to reach the hotel) but the road to reach the apartments and hotels needs to be widened. A large stretch of the road is wide enough for only one car with no way to pull over to let someone pass. There is a huge dropoff so I cannot imagine what it must be like when there is a large amount of people at the hotel.
Great location in a charming town.
The hotel was in the middle of the centre between all the shops. The room and the bathroom were very clean, large and new renovated and the staff were very friendly. It was a very nice stay for a very good price. We would stay there again.
Motorcycle friendly- let us use their garage to store bikes overnight. Good central location for Bitburg, a beautiful German town. Hotel also a pub/restaurant so very convenient for these facilities.
Lovely hotel in a pleasant location; excellent breakfast and evening meal. The staff could have been a little more welcoming on arrival and in the evening restaurant, although the breakfast staff were first rate.
The Hotel is very clean with a newly fitted shower room, we like Bitburg as its centrally located for the Mosel ,Trier and Luxembourg,You are right in the midst of the High Street but with no noise as the Double Glazing is good, The Beer is the best in the world and the Breakfast was all you needed,I also recomend the Restaurant but book up as its very popular with the locals. I will be staying again.
Very friendly staff and good food
Friendly staff. Clean and well serviced rooms. Well located and easy to find. Possibility to have dinner in hotel restaurant. Too soft pillows. Dining room rather hot (no AC).
The food was excellent and reasonably priced. The room was enormous and the staff very friendly. It was very cheap too for my family. Breakfast too was good. No curtains in the room and it was a bit noisy.
We had a large family room. It was the biggest room we have evr stayed in.
Food in restaurant was poor quality. Soups made of powder.
The beds in the room were good. The kitchen smell hanging in all corridors was disgusting. Although the breakfast was OK, the replenishment of the food and drinks was bad. Everytime waiting for new food and drinks (or eating cold eggs laying on a plate for a long time).
Great hotel, we had a private wing! Since we requested two non-smoking rooms we had in a different building two rooms with an own entrance. Really friendly personnel! The breakfast was superb; everything we requested was brought to the table. Good food and fresh as well. The hotel is in the centre town so you can choose to eat in the hotel or in a restaurant at the other site of the street, which is the main street of Bitburg. Which gives you a lot of opportunities! Hotel is clean and rooms are spacious.
Excellent location, Friendly Staff and very good breakfasat selection
Friendly welcome, good food and beer, ideal location for visiting Bitburg.
Nothing Having asked for a ground floor room when we booked in January, the only room available was on the second floor. No consideration was given to disabled guests. There was no restaurant available for us.
Nice welcome, clean room, at the backside of the hotel it was very quiet during the night
Very pleasant and helpful English-speaking personnel, spacious and comfortable room, good food, safe parking
Convenient location. Pleasant staff Extremely poor quality of Internet service. It did not work. Stairs are steep and had to negotiate when carrying your luggage up to room.
friendliness of staff, unique atmosphere
Staff was very friendly, room was very nice and comfortable. Great location to the shopping area.
Familiarity of the staff - Privacy - Close to the highway //
Good-sized and nicely appointed rooms, bakery on site, good food at good prices, nicely cooked trout from the hotel trout farm. Unfortunately, flies were a problem even inside the restaurant.
The staff was very kind, they did their best to communicate in english. The food was great. The location of the hotel in the forest and the lake nearby is beautiful.
Friendly and we felt at home
Friendly and relaxed atmosphere and a warm feel to the hotel very nice Nothing
The area was the reason we chose the hotel. The lake and its beautiful surroundings were two minutes to the hotel, so we were satisfied.
Easy to find. Accommodation adequate Bit far out of town. Noisy youngsters during the day - unsurprising but settled down at night.
Very good value for money. Restaurants within easy walking distance. The accommodation is very clean and tidy but the external stairwells are scuffy. Some people may not like the presence of school parties, however German children are very well behaved. The hot water taps have to be run for 15 min. before it gets warm.
Nice staff, nice place. Not in the vicinity of the city, but was no problem for me.
Only the night noise created by youth & drinking sponsors
Excellent food. Very nice staff. Spacious rooms. Conveniently close to highway but in a quiet village.
big rooms good breakfast heating insufficient, no extra blankets
Nice staff and peaceful place. There is not much activities nearby, but village Bitburg quite close.
