Moulin Le Cygne is a beautifully converted former mill which is an absolute credit to the Dutch owners who carried out the restoration works. The accommodation we occupied was delightful and we only regret that we only stayed for one night. The owners greeted us upon arrival and then provided, at reasonable cost, an excellent breakfast for us before we left. They also run an adjoining bar where we enjoyed a drink before going for dinner at the excellent restaurant they recommended to us in the town. A delightful place which we would highly recommend.
Apartment was beautiful with everything we needed for an overnight stay. Lovely setting in the old watermill. Friendly staff/owners.
A converted watermill - now several self contained apartments which allow the choice of preparing your own meals or using one of the various restaurants locally. High standard of decoration and fittings used in the conversion. The present owner is Dutch and speaks several languages as well as providing a good european type breakfast. Recommended.
Very friendly owner and rooms very clean and spacious. Sat TV in room.
The whole building was amazing, the apartment beautiful, the lady and gentleman that owned were really lovely as were the two cats,we wouldstay there again no problem absolutley gorgeous.
The friendliness of the host and the local residents. A good base to explore history - particularly the French history and World War 1. A well resourced self catering apartment with access to a variety of local tourist information/resources
Dinner was excellent Breakfast was basic
We could not have been better welcomed by the owners. Pleasant, helpful and kind and clearly on top of all of the details of operating the hotel restaurant. Rooms were spotless, nicely decorated and comfortable. Restaurant served very good dishes on the fixed price dinner menu with a reasonable wine selection as well. We will definitely return. We were looking for something more in the country so we were thrilled with the location in the small village of Damvillers.
Staff were very welcoming and helpful. Restaurant food was very good Old hotel which seemed a little bit run down, situated in a fairly run down town. Rooms were clean and adequate, but could do with updating, hot at night (August) as no air conditioning.
Very nice staff. Good value for money. No wifi.
it was close to places of interest, provided an evening meal. Although the food was good we thought more simple french cooking would have been more to our liking
