Pros: I was looking for a one night stopover in Dungannon to show family (three teeange girls, daughter and son-in-law) where my father and mother grew up. Kensington Lodge was a perfect, not in the town but within easy reach in a car. Breakfast was good and mine host hospitable. No problems at all. Rooms VERY spacious and well heated on a coldish mid-october Irish day.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: We had a wonderful experience and can’t recommend this beautiful and stylish country house enough. We were welcomed by Ralph and Norah who made us feel as if we were part of their family, spoiling us and taking their time to chat with us. The house is beautiful, immersed in history. The rooms are warm and cosy, the perfect place where you want to go at the end of a day spent by walking and driving around. The bed and pillows are so comfortable, and everything is literally spotless. We had an amazing experience. Absolutely stunning the “porridge experience”, which is a true ritual we enjoyed a lot. A completely different way to eat porridge that blew us away. Bread and cooked breakfast is gorgeous. Everything is cooked by the beautiful Norah while Ralph, a true gentleman, is a great guide during the meal. All comes from local producers, which is a great thing. We also had some amazing plums grown in Norah’s and Ralph’s garden. Speaking of which is a wonderful place where you can chill out, delved into nature. We will miss all of this and the lovely house, but will go back soon. Ralph and Norah, thank you again for giving us the chance to spend such amazing time at Grange Lodge!

Pros: Peace and quiet in lovely surroundings. Bedroom was comfortable and breakfast was very good. The proprietors were very welcoming and helpful. It made a great difference when they both came out to wish us farewell something that is rarely if ever done at other establishments.

Pros: The room was spotless and the bathroom was roomy with a great power shower. The house is in the middle of the countryside in a very tranquil, beautiful location. Margo is a wonderful hostess and provided an excellent breakfast.
Cons: A little tricky to find but worth the effort.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Brilliant hosts.....home from home.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hosts were amazing! It was an absolutely delightful experience and a gorgeous property. We were so very comfortable there, and Margot added in lots of personal touches to make us feel welcome. The breakfasts were DIVINE! Margot even went the extra mile to provide pancakes for our beyond-fussy child. The beds were extremely comfortable and the nice touches of coffee/tea packets with the kettle in our room made it extra nice. There were even cookies for our kids. We had turf fires every night, we were given a wonderful local tour, and Margot was very helpful with local information and details for our family research. I can't rave enough about this stay. The hosts make you feel so very welcome that it almost feels like you are staying with distant relatives. We will definitely be back.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Margo was a perfect host who welcomed two late arriving, tired cyclists to her farmhouse, making sure that we were comfortable. Lovely quiet country location.
Cons: Absolutely nothing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was fun being on a working farm. This stop was the last place we stayed on our trip, and it could not have been a better choice. Our hostess Margo gave us great suggestions of places to visit, complete with handwritten maps, and then, when she learned we were interested in the Troubles, took us on a guided tour of the immediate area where events had occurred during that time period. The tour ended with a trip to a peat bog/windmill farm. It doesn't get much better than that!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely breakfast. Lovely hosts
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything at Crockgarve B&B exceeded our expectations. The location was perfect for a quiet rural getaway but still within 30 minutes drive of town facilities. There was a good selection of restaurants in the local area and we found it convenient to eat on our way home from our day trips. Quinn’s Corner, Dungannon Golf Club, Brewer’s House, all excellent and have early bird specials.
Cons: The network of country roads in Ireland ialways a challenge, including for the sat nav. Directions to Crockgarve B&B from Cookstown and Dungannon on the website or with the booking confirmation would be beneficial.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Host Margo was warm and gracious in welcoming us to the B&B, including by helping us find the place by meeting up with us in a nearby village. The countryside setting is a bit out of the way, but made for a quiet, peaceful stay.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Our hosts were so hospitable.. We really felt welcome! Margo made sure we had everything we needed and even made us sandwiches when we arrived late at night. The breakfast was really delicious.. We loved the soda farls.
Cons: Nothing.. Everything was lovely!
