The recliner No indoor pool
The staff was helpful and courteous. The bath tub looked like it hadn't been scrubbed in several weeks. Kinda gross.
I almost fell three times standing in the bath tub. The tub has sides that narrows the inside standing area. I would recommend a safety bar. Operating the window A/C was a hassle. No directions and lots of buttons not readily identified. The unit was also placed in the far corner of the room next to where the closet rack is located to hang clothes... thus reducing air flow to the room when clothes are hung up.
The TV was nice I woke up and my right arm was entirely covered in bug bites.
Beds are very comfortable, the rooms were clean, I would stay again!
The location. The room smelled strongly like mold... and there wern't light bulbs...

The room was very clean, and the staff was friendly and helpful. I had no complaints.
Check in is actually 3pm unlike the 2pm advertised. We had two rooms and one of them had a strange odor to it. It was almost impossible to find an outlet for charging phones or using the laptop.
It was very easy to find right off the main highway and was close to restaurants and shared the parking lot with the National Farm Toy Museum.
Good location and staff resolved 2 issues.
Nothing I got hosed. Liars. Didn't give me a refund after saying je would. Room was disgusting.
Quiet Lumpy rug, strong mildew smell
While this is not a 5 star hotel, the owners' hospitality makes up for it in spades. He was incredibly gracious and hospitable and I would recommend anyone passing through to stay here. At $50/night, you just can't beat it. The weekend I was there was the weekend of a marathon. One of the guests mentioned that the marathon started early and the owner decided to get up early and start coffee and open the breakfast area early (5:30 am) so they could get access before leaving for the event. Rooms have a fridge, TV, plenty of lighting, etc. I actually love the fact that it was a motel and there was a chair outside my room so I could go sit outside in the evening and morning. Great place and I would stay again. The rooms are not 5-star rooms, but they are cozy and for $50, what more can you ask. The owner actually mentioned that since he acquired the place, they closed a bunch of the rooms and they are going through them room by room to re-open them based on higher standards. So, they are moving in the right direction with it.
