The view around is very nice. The price is too high to this level of hotel.
Close to Gotland Island ferry terminal
The staff are very accomodating. I arrived late, and they arranged for me to collect a room key.The surrounding countryside is beautiful.
We liked the view of the sea, the wonderful dining room and breakfast, the decorations, the cross ventilation of our room, the comfort of the beds.
We enjoyed our stay at the hotel and would recommend it to anybody
convenience to ferry terminal, proprietor very accommodating when I wanted to change rooms because the original was facing the street. rooms felt old and badly in need of refurbishment. dark wall coverings in the bathroom made it feel dirty--even if it wasn't. Given the age of the hotel and general comfort, I think the price is slightly high.
close to the harbour where we arrived by ferry
Nice hotel in good surroundings next to the sea!! Free wireless internet available Friendly staff
The hotel is by the Baltic sea, within walking distance from the train station where you can catch the train to Stockholm Central station.
Great spa area in renovated poolhouse by the sea. Nice and well presented breakfast. Spacious rooms. Grill buffet was a little poor for money value. Not enough space in the wardrobe.
Cosy place, great staff!
Hotel is great if you are able to have a room from the main building. Perhaps this hotel isn't for children but for couples. Bathroom was quite worn off. There wasn't air conditioning available! Hotel could have more informative web- sites. If you are planning a romantic trip with your partner - this hotel is top choice. Bathroom was worn off. No airconditioning in the room. Restaurant had very limited menu.
Very good - but also rather expensive food - excellent view
Great hotel! We had high expectations about this hotel and we weren't disappointed at all! The view is simply amazing! The rooms are nicely decorated, clean and comfortable (Swedish country style). We had lunch and dinner in the hotel once and it was almost worth a Michelinstar... The harbor of Nynashamn is just 15 minutes walking and from there you can take a ferry to the islands for a daytrip. Also from the hotel you can start a beautiful walk along the coastline. Staff was very friendly. We are certainly coming back!
The Hotel is well located in the centre of a small, pleasant and historical harbour town called Trosa. Very nice and convenient geographical setting. Dinner was good with an attractive and extensive wine list which included with some reasonably priced wines The room (no 2) although pleasantly decorated was small and the bathroom even smaller (it was hard taking a proper shower). The view from the room was also a bit disappointing.
Reception staff were unfriendly and unhelpful with information, eg times of breakfast, location of hotel, where to go and what to see in the vicinity. They seemed to be only interested in conference delegates and not with tourists. The information contained in room folder was in Swedish and of no use. Restaurant meals were good but we were only offered the menu with regional specialities which was very expensive. Our stay did not represent value for money compared with other hotels we have stayed in in Sweden.
Very quiet situated hotel, clean rooms, good breakfast-buffet. If you're there by car it's ideal - near to the ferry-harbour, one hour south of Stockholm. If you're on foot: the train's 15 min. away, the harbour about 45 min.
Nice surroundings and quiet hotel. Nice and caring service from staff Some facilities were worn out and out of order
Nice location - small town, nature. Convenient train connection with Stockholm - 5 min to station, 1 h trip to Stokholm C. Toll internet! Extremely simple furniture.
calm and peace .cleanliness
Everything was great; environment, the village, and facilities. Beautiful nature and excellent weather =) in Nynäshamn, nice and friendly personnel at the hotel also.
