Pros: Wonderful couple of days. If you want peace and quiet this is the place for you. Hosts extremely welcoming, greeted with tea and biscuits. Ideal for a visit to Winchester or Bombay Sapphire experience. Will definitely use again.
Pros: Our booking came with a somewhat awkward request and the hosts could not have been more helpful and accommodating, absolutely lovely people.
Pros: Lovely country/farm location. Near good pubs and nice days out.
Cons: Nothing negative
Pros: Personal service was excellent. The only slight niggles were that there was no vegetarian alternative to sausages offered, and no milk was provided in the rooms to go with the complimentary tea and coffee. However, it is a lovely property in a gorgeous location. I thought I had specifically searched booking.com for ensuite rooms. But when we arrived the bathrooms were across the corridor from each room. However, they were for the exclusive use of the relevant room's occupants, and as our children are in their late teens it was not much of an inconvenience. It may be that booking.com searched for "private bathroom" rather than ensuite, but I can't be sure. All in all, we had a lovely stay in an idyllic location, and would definitely stay here again!
Cons: Not much, see above.
Pros: Fantastic location, great rooms, lovely hosts and a great breakfast. A lot of care was taken to make us feel welcome and comfortable.

Pros: The hotel was beautiful, food was amazing.
Cons: Make customers aware, that they do bar food. We went on the RAT and needed to be there at 18.30. No other pubs had food at that time, so went back to Swan food was amazing.
Pros: Very comfortable room. They've tried to think of every little thing. Shabby chic decor - lovely!
Pros: We have been here for the second time and we love this typical B&B. Some rooms are better than others.
Pros: Staff were lovely and the room was well equipped and comfortable
Pros: Loved the room, shower, linen, breakfast and off road parking
Cons: Ummmmh - window wouldn't lock..................
Pros: sport on bt and sky in the bar with friendly locals
Located in Alresford, The Woolpack Country Inn is within a 15-minute drive of Great Hall and Winchester Cathedral. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: The rooms are tastefully done with a modern bathroom and a good shower. The food was very good as it was breakfast, though the coffee was made extremely weak.
Cons: The TV went off at 10pm.
Pros: The place is beautiful - both the building and the setting. The staff were very friendly and very helpful. We didn't have dinner there as were already booked for dinner in a different location, but had some snacks from the starter selection that afternoon and breakfast the next morning - both were delicious. The bed was soooo comfortable - could have slept on and on!
Cons: Just one tiny fault - the shower screen didn't look like it had been cleaned.
Pros: The best breakfast we have ever had in an hotel. Loved the dog biscuits in the room . We will bring our black Lab next time
Pros: The hospitality on arrival and the friendliness of the staff. Excellent!!!
Cons: The room we stayed in was a quaint room but could of been improved with some more eye for detail.
Pros: Beautiful pub & rooms
Cons: Food was very expensive for what you got.
Pros: Lovely pub with great food and rooms. Friendly staff.
Cons: The bathrooms are tired and require updating. They let down an otherwise perfect stay.
