The rooms were surprisingly larger than expected. Very few amenities if any, but the owners were very friendly. If they had a better billing process than a calculator I would have felt better about my bill. There weren't many unexpected surprises during my stay, but the one disappointing item was the bill. My bill was over a hundred dollars more than I anticipated. The taxation and surcharges could not be justified, so I believed that we were paying more in taxes and surcharges then warranted due to lack of proof. They do not give recei'pts like larger hotels, so you don't know what you are paying for exactly.
The staff were wonderful. I actually stayed another night at the same rate to see more of atlantic city. There is a cheap city bus to take you to the boardwalk on every hour. It was an excellent, budget friendly, stay.
the staff was great , very willing to help only problem was that the room had a slight odor when we first got there , which aired out pretty quickly
hotel was average, the bed was very comfortable, a bit expensive for what the hotel offered, but the owners were very nice and their hospitality made up for what the hotel may have lacked.
Freindly, helpful owners. Clean, modern room and fixtures. Recycling. Excellent TV and AC. 20% discount at near-by Dennys. A real bargain!
its not far from other places in atlantic city where the attractions are. staff cannot be trusted.
The person in charge of the hotel was really pleasant and helpful for everything. The room was smelling really bad (cigarette). The bed cover was really old with some burn on it. The light in the room was not working. The place need really to be take care of it. I will never fo there anymore and I won't recommend this place to anyone.
I liked the comfortable bed the cleanliness of the room and the jacuzzi in my room
The only positive thing was that it was right off the express way & checking out meant dropping your key in a mailbox so u could get out of the dump asap. Basically everything... Manager didn't assign us a non smoking room, even though booked 4 months in advance. Then argued with us that we didn't book it in time. When we got to see the second room the sink didn't work, the wallpaper was coming off (due to the fungus growing behind it), the rug+chairs+sheets had stains in them, there was a thick layer of dust on the cupboard. Further more the bed had life in it besides us, lay awake all night due to itching. Emailed the manager about the sink so it wouldn't get charged on our credit card and she even started a bit of an arguement.
Location was the only redeeming factor. The hotel was not three stars. Would rate 1.5 max. Poor value for price paid. Could hear conversation in adjacent rooms.
The location being relatively close to Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City made attending the A10 Basketball tournament easily accessable. We booked a room with a king size bed but when we arrived we were told, rather curtly, that we were in a double and that we would only have maid service once during our four day stay. The young lady seemed unconcerned in telling us this. They did replace the towells daily if we put the used towells outside our door. The facility, furniture and interior are old and not well kept. Some electrical outlets did not work, especially the one in the sink area where the hair dryer was that didn't work either. Paint was bad, wallpaper coming off, baseboards loose and black mold behind the loose baseboards in the bathroom. Bathtub had no stopper so taking a bath wasn't possible. Furniture was a shambles. Falling apart, drawers broken, etc.
Good staff. Generally clean rooms. Some dust accumulation on lamps no longer in use in room.
Thank you for a nice staff and good performance
Our room was a little dirty. We ordered a roll away bed and received no pillows or blankets for the bed.
The staff does not even speak a good english. I will never recommended that hotel.
Owner was very nice Place smelled awful, chairs in room were stained/smelly, we checked in which took 10 minutes went to room there was food already in the fridge from previous residents, the smell of spices or incense caused me to have an asthma attack we left after 10 minutes owner asked if all was ok on our way out we said yes rather than hurt his feelings - You get what you pay for and we didn't ask for refund instead moved to a $271 per night clean oceanfront resort. Photo of room was accurate 10 years ago - now looks like a method lab crime scene from Law and Order or Criminal Minds8
The hot water didn't get real hot
Comfortable bed, mostly clean Did not have the amenities promised, coffeemaker dirty
Was cheap That it said breakfeast included there was just coffe and muffin and the room was not that clean
The room was so bad they moved us to another property. The room was so bad they moved us to another property
It was nice and quite and staffe was nice. Need more pillows and door was hard to close.
It was cheap, closer to the city and wawa It wasn't clean, bed had some nasty things on it so we had to change the room. The other room was ok, it had lamps but no socket,so we had to move the lamp to start it.
the prrice arrived at 2:30 PM and wasn't permitted in the room until 3PM, even though the room was ready. (really sucked) we had a family of 7 next door to us(rm 115 to be exact) that was made for 4 people. Had 3 guys right above us that were blaring music and screwing 1 girl. that sounded wonderful.
The price Amenities were poor. Power outlets broken, smoke alarm hanging off the ceiling.
Nothing Mattress, blanket disgusting dirty and noisey left after one hour.
It was OK in a very plain and functional way in terms of all things visably clean and operating. I will stay there again when saving the most money is parimount. It was an overall rundown appearance BUT with more cable than most even my home. AC was great. 1. The SMELL of the lobby - that moldy/funky/disinfectant/cleaner smell. YUK! 2. The large seemingly growing black stain (mold?) right behind the main desk. 3. The mattress was like sinking mashed potatoes - you sank close to the ground (sitting on the edge drove my knees nearly to my chin) BUT it was NOT hard on the back or uncomfortable to sleep on! This is an economy ONJLY place for men travelors... hot shower, TV and do-able bed.
Cost effective , clean , close toAC continental breakfast was lacking no real milk or creamer for the coffee pastries that were about the size of a half dollar that was it
The beds we're big and nice an comfy. The attitude the guy in the office had towards charging our phones since we stayed there but he kicked us out!!!! Nasty service but nice place.
The swimming pool the accomidations were good better the some other hotels in the area
The heat wasn't not working. Room superb cold!
Cheap. Bathroom fixtures were broken. The non smoking room reeked of cigarettes. The staff was rarely available. They never answered when I called the front desk. The blankets are very thin. Never got any of the promised breakfast.
Our stay was fine, the room was clean but the noise is constant. Maybe it's not well insulated or something.
did not have an iron.
I didn't like that 1600 dollars was stolen. I went to ask what happens to my room because it was like I got ransacked. Unbelievable. I got back to all my things around. My medicine missing , money and 420. I went home so angry I called my lawyer. Then I received a call starting I stole towels. Funny thing I went to the store to buy towels because they had really cheap and small ones. Staff was never there. But the rooms are decent. Just make sure you don't leave money around 1600. See you in court empire My money was stolen and there was no breakfast. Only coffee
not a far drive to & from Atlantic City they came banging on the door at exactly 11am! literally to rush you out of the room. & I agree the beds weren't comfortable
Not too far from atlantic city The beds were uncomfortable and they don't provide irons or ironing boards. Also they knock on ur door at exactly 11 to ask if u are leaving !
The gentleman at the front desk was pleasant The hotel is very much overpriced. It has an odor, the fixtures are old, furniture stained. There were stains on the sheets and mattress. I willingly lost the $150 I paid for the room to stay elsewhere. The room should only be $70 at best.
Bad service from staff response, TV remote was missing then they supply a broken remote which you can turn on/off the unit, the key card for accessing room was invalidate itself and every night and you have to take key to the front office to reprogrammed over and over. They were not supplying tissue in bathroom. The furniture in side were worn out. Breakfast was joke.
Nothing at all .... Worst stay nerver Again Tub wasn't working , sink wasn't working , no soap, no toothbrush , no breakfast owner lady was very rude
Location is convient The staff are rude! Rooms were dirty!
it's close to Atlantic City it wasn't very clean, there were spots on the pillows and holes in the blankets, the room looked quite shabby, the curtains were broken. Fortunately we stayed only one night there, but in the morning we discovered that in fact the windows were just slightly open and could have been opened completely from the outside easily, so this didn't give a good impression of security. The breakfast was awful, there was just one piece of bakery wrapped in plastic that was over-sweet and greasy, with a coffee. Not worth the 80 dollars we paid.
Room was awesome with flat screen tv, coffee machine, microwave and beds were very comfortable. super clean. friendly staff and Atlantic city is only 10 minutes away from this hotel...I Recommend this hotel for Great price rather than staying in the casino and spending over 300 dollars...Great Hotel.
everything went very well none
Our stay was fine. The room was clean, the beds were comfortable and wireless internet was available at no charge. However, the staff was "English-Challenged" where it was difficult at check-in time. Also, the towels & washcloths were "Spartan", not absorbent nor soft. Soap consisted of two small bars, one bar was barely able to accomodate to showers. No, it met aour requirements for sleep and reasonable comfort at a good price and value.
Close proximity to Atlantic City. Cheap ratty bedspread. No comforter on bed! Bed felt a little soft.
Friendly staff, extremely reasonable, new comforters, sheets, flat screen tv and internet access, small refrigerator, microwave, quiet (on the weekdays). A good value. I made the suggestion to have conditioner in the room, they only provided shampoo
Very very clean & comfortable! I will go back and send my best friend anytime. But breakfast was very simple!
The rooms were very clean; Breakfast was very good we had waffles, omelette and muffins the room was a big size and had a nice sized bathroom It was a bit pricy as we booked on the day of a big show in Atlantic CIty..
very disappointed with staff cane to room at 8:30a did not knock and did not appologize when went to desk to complain did not care, door to room was very difficult to open and close. would not say there again.
Great value! Stayed there for two nights and it was worth every penny. Location is perfect and staff was very friendly! Would definitely stay here again!
nothing they charged my account more than the price given by booking.com and they also debited my credit card twice for they one night stay. They front desk clerk ask for credit card and promise I would be charged twice. I never had this to happen with other booking companies on line please stop this hotel they stealing by charging the customer twice.
Good beds and good TV, mini fridge and microwave. Poor internet (bandwidth limited and unreliable maid service... hidden charge of $5 per night for "booking.com" reservation.
everything was very good. Room was very clean, bed was comfortable and there were several different pillow types to choose from. hostess was very polite, location was perfect for my trip. I will not hesitate to stay here again when I'm in the area. I have paid 4X more and gotten less at other area hotels, 2X more for some campsites. Tremendous value. I only have two suggestions to improve what as a very good stay. 1 - I stayed in room 106 and the door did not seal tight when closed. 2 - I like thicker towels and bath linens.
Nothing really to like in this place!!! The room was small and the ceiling light didn't work, there was only lamp in the room, with the door and window closed I could still hear the road noisy , it was funny smelling also, along with the wired bathroom that looked like it was an officer out something.
LOCATON CLOSENESS TO AC There was nothing to like about the Motel. It's old, run down, smelly, so uncomfortable, I was alone, I felt unsafe. I would never stay there again. I did not see an employee working in the grounds. Only when I checked in. The shower curtain was from the dollar store. There was mildew in the showers. I was so disgusted to even walk barefooted in the room. Being the price it was, I took my comforter just incase. I slept on top of the comforter. I couldn't sleep because of the old smell in the room. I couldn't wait until morning. I would have left at night but I don't like to drive at night.
Price was cheap. Shower only got luke warm
Cheap, Great location, clean Internet signal pretty bad
Old fixtures in the bathroom. Toilet seat needs to be changed
Nothing Calling my room anytime of day or night for any reason.Toilet flushed slow. When I called, they bought me a plunger and bucket. Can not really secure room from ythe inside.
It was cheap as hell and only a few miles from downtown. The people that work there couldn't have been nicer. Our room smelled like mold. The bed was hard. There were bugs in the room. Cable didn't work. No phone. I am glad we only had to stay one night.
This was the cheapest hotel to stay at during the weekend and worked out very well for us.
Checking out in the morning was awesome! This quite possibly was the worst motel/hotel I have ever had the displeasure of staying in. There were blood stains on the blanket! No lie. The room smelled like somebody's bed ridden grandmother lived there. There were hairs in the sink that did not belong to me. How unnerving is that? Did I mention that there was a blood stain on the blanket. I'm watching Training Day on the tube, 'bout to take a a siesta, I unfold the blanket, only to reveal a burgundy colored stain about the size of a Vienna sausage! The manager of the building was some East Indian guy, and he had his teenage son running errands. The fact that he was from the Indian subcontinent is irrelevant. The fact is that he was a b.s. artist to the ninth degree.
proximity to places of interest. poor value for money; pathetic facilities; bad & old furniture; no customer service.
It smelled, had flies, dirty pillows, broken microwave, it's the worse place I ever stayed.
One of the workers of the hotel went into our room when we were gone and went through all of our belongings. We caught the worker in the room when we came back from beach. We had to call the police. We did not feel comfortable staying the night there, but hotel refused to give us our money back. After much battle between the hotel, police, and me, I was able to get part of our money back. I did not like anything. The hotel was extremely dirty and not taken care of at all. Having a worker of the hotel in our room was scary and unprofessional. They were looking for money, but thankfully we had our purses with us. I think that you should take this listing off of your website.
Well, I stayed here because it was cheap! The room wasn't as clean as some of the hotels on the boardwalk, but it wasn't disgusting.
Nothig Close down the moel for renovation
The location was conveniently close to Atlantic City. It was digusting. The first room they gave us a key for, when I opened the door, the room hadnt been cleaned from the last person. So they gave me another room. We went into that room, and it was supposed to be a non-smoking room. It wasnt. It smelled like a wet ash tray & there was a ash tray on the table.
The jacuzzi tub was very nice. room was fairly private and a good size. the staff was very friendly and helpful. The drop ceiling over the shower was damaged and partially missing due to a leak. some of the towels had hair on them. so did the toilet. the soda i bought from the office was out of code.
The room was roomy and provided all we wanted in an overnight stay. Was not able to take a bath because there was no was to close the drain.
It was quiet and pleasant. The recovery fee on room rate booked with booking.com which was not made known to me earlier.
I liked the free wifi The bathroom was really cold and felt drafts by our bed and wall
Cheap, clean. Owner's got a bad attitude and likes to BS people into extra charges like $15 for late checkout and $15 for each additional guest event though these charges are clearly unwarranted considering the season.
The staff was nice The room
It was a convience to me. It is near family and Atlantic City.
The price. Clerk's not finding the reservations.
Close to Atlantic city and Philadelphia. Restaurants nearby I found old dirty sox in my room and old food in the microwave. Have to pay 50 cents/minutes to make a local call. Hidden charges on the price of the room and the bed was not cozy at all. Don't even think about resting in this hotel.
for the what we pay to stay at this inn it was wort it . it looks great when you drive in the lot and say to your self this a real nice place to stay. in our 3 day stay our room was not clean , nor did they leave any clean towels . we also had to pay $10 x-tra to park our trailer . also we had to pay $3 a night total $9 dollars up front for some kind of local tax
Room was clean, bed was comfortable and good a/c. Room had a small fridge and a microwave. There was no iron in the room but we were provided with one when it was requested.Friendly and helpful front desk service.Inexpensive rooms. Highly recommended. There was no coffee maker in the room.
