10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful location and beautiful individualized boutique rooms. Lots of nice little details in the house and the garden makes the place warm and feeling home, Marie is a great and lovely Host. Breakfast is outstanding with lots of homemade things.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The property is a family home that was originally a manor house built in 1798. The main house and servants quarters were completely remodeled in 2015 and retain all of their original 1800's charm and character. There are three guest rooms in the refurbished servants quarters and all are very comfortable. There is a small living room and kitchen to share in that building, but a larger very comfortable living room where the host serves a great breakfast every morning.
Cons: If you are looking for a busy central location you should plan on staying in Strasbourg which is 10 minutes away by car otherwise this location is perfect for a quiet get away.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Mary the host was most helpful and friendly, she even booked us a restaurant for the evening meal. The place was very pretty, clean and comfortable. Would definitely go back and recommend.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Lovely environment and warm host
Cons: None. We wanted to stay in a small village near the city
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is a lovely B&B which is wonderfully run by our hostess Marie. Everything about her place is perfect. The rooms are spotlessly clean and lovingly decorated, the breakfast is yummy, with lots of choices. Marie herself is kindly handing out plenty of good advice, i.e. dining options or activities.
Cons: Everything was great!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It’s wonderful to live in an old house with comfortable redecoration.
Maison d'Hôtes Les Feuilles d'Or - Eichhoffen - Building

9.7 Excellent (64 reviews)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The size of the room is perfect for 2 people. The room has very beautiful and local decoration with the flowers from their garden. Everything is clean. Our room is surrounded by the vineyard. We had very nice view when we opened the eyes in the morning. The breakfast is just perfect, not only the taste but the presentation of the food! The host was very nice and helpful. Guide us to visit their pool and big garden. Just wonderful! Give us some suggestions about the cave and the wine, we found some very good Pinot noir! We are definitely satisfied with the stay.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The B&B is located at the edge of town and is directly bordered by vineyards. It is a wonderful, quiet, beautiful location. The breakfast was extremely good, with eggs and tomatoes from the owners own garden, and an excellent selection of cheeses. There was lots of space, including gorgeous common rooms, and it could not have been cleaner or more comfortable. The owners are friendly and very communicative, offering help in choosing and reserving restaurants, things to do, etc. They also own a private lake (about 3 minutes by car), with chickens, ducks, geese, vegetables, a picnic area, and more. It's also very quiet and cool in the summer.
Cons: The house was warm but comfortable with an outside temperature of 30°. During a heat wave, it might be a bit too warm.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly host,Renata is a pleasure. Great place. Excellent location.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We had a lovely stay at this bed and breakfast. The hosts did everything to make our stay as good as possible. The area is incredibly beautiful and the vineyards are located on rows just outside the window. The breakfast was really good. The small villages nearby offered several good restaurants. It’s easy to put on runningshoes and have a morning run or walk between the wineyards. Our two children aged 8 and 10 appreciated the cats living there and the private lake. The rooms were large and the temperature pleasant despite the heat outside. The decor was authentic, but a nice change to the decor minimalism you often see in the big hotels. We’ll give it 5 out of 5 stars and would definitely recommend this place to other families with children.
Cons: Nothing

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The whole entire place was really clean and decorated with taste. There are also parking places which is very handy (also, safe as the parking was behind the gates). Anne was extremely friendly, always making sure we got everything. Our apartment was for five people therefore, very open, big and comfortable. There was an extra toilet upstairs. The wifi worked with ease. It is only a 14 minute drive to strasbourg from this place. Also, near by there are many interesting little towns to visit and there are many supermarkets.
Cons: There is nothing that I didn't like.

Pros: Christiane was extremely helpful and friendly
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Our room was clean and comfortable. Some of the breakfast items, such as the applesauce, were prepared from produce raised on the farm. The restaurant across the street had excellent food for dinner. A common room offered a place for snacks and games for families and groups.
Cons: The drive into Strasbourg is more challenging than I expected and our point in staying here was to visit Strasbourg. Some of the roads are very narrow and I would recommend arriving in daylight until you are familiar with the area.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We travelled through Alsace for 3 weeks and this was our favorite! The hostess and host were amazing and they spoke English well. The breakfast was delicious and the pool was so refreshing. It was a short, easy trip to Strasbourg and we loved being on a farm. Good restaurants were in walking distance. Truly loved it.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Spacious room with a precious terrace and a very big bathroom Staff was super friendly and really welcoming, they gave us many suggestions regarding restaurants, activities and places to visit The SPA is not that big but it is Great for some relax Parking free and easy to reach
Cons: We would only have changed the lighting of the bathroom: it is automatic, and it means kind of a waste of energy during the day and far too strong during the night. All the rest was perfect and above expectations though
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Stunning hotel with beautiful design features and an excellent restaurant -- just gorgeous! We had a wonderful stay along our bike trip and wish to extend a big thank you to the staff.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful hotel and spa (industrial chic), extra comfy room/ bed, very polite, attentive and helpful staff.
Cons: The restaurant is closed on Saturday (lunch time) and Sunday (all day).
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful hotel right in the heart of picturesque Barr - 5 minutes walk from the vineyard covered hills surrounding the village. The lobby, restaurant and bar were all very stylish, as was the room (which was a bit small, given the price range of the hotel). Don't miss the tiny but wonderful spa in the basement, would definitely recommend!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Super quiet, lovely town with fewer tourists and lots of locals. The hotel staff were incredible. Maybe my favorite stay ever!

9.6 Excellent
Pros: Great room in a century old historic building which was beautifully renovated by the owner. Great warm host prepared awesome breakfasts and gave lots of recommendations for locations in the area. Downtown Strasbourg either 15 min by car, or 30 min by nearby tram.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The owner was perfectly nice. We liked everything about our stay in „La stoob“,
9.6 Excellent
Pros: We had a perfect stay! Very good breakfast!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Our room was beautifully furnished & decorated, the bathroom large & modern. The owners very welcoming & we had a glass of wine in the courtyard on our arrival.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The owner Laurence made our stay really special, she went over & beyond with kindness & service. Very clean, fresh sheets, fresh smelling towels!! Owner & daughter both spoke some English which was fantastic! Fresh baked goods daily for breakfast, if you prefer croissants in place of stick bread that can need only to ask, here they aim to please!! Offered to drive us to the hairdresser (tho we walked, wasn't far) & made the apt. for us to get our hair done. We came to stay 6 days in an affordable place & ended up making special new friends. Weren't planning on returning before we stayed here but will be back for sure!!
Cons: Some plants or flowers in the outside seating area.. would make it so much cozier out there :) Bathroom door needs trimmed in downstairs bath as it scrapes the floor when you open or close it. Otherwise.. No complaints!!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: First of all, the owner, this really nice lady herself, who’s heartwarming, funny, open-minded, talkative(but not annoying at all) and very tentative, already made the stay special. We enjoyed our small talks with her at breakfasts, feeling like spending time with a new friend, like staying at home. She always checked with us when we’d like to have breakfast on the next morning and then showed up there every morning, making sure we had everything we needed. There’s a decent choice of breakfast for a small guesthouse, different kinds of cheese, marmalades and breads (sweet and salty). You can pull your hot tee/coffee or grab a cold drink from the fridge anytime you like, like at home:) Oh and we got fresh towels everyday, thanks to the lovely lady. The house speaks for itself, authentic, romantic, well balanced rustic charm and mordern living comfort, with many tasteful decorative details. The location is not only perfect for visiting Strasbourg (20 mins by tram, the station 5 mins walk from the house, the ticket is quite cheap), but also if you wanna take a ride on the famous “Wine Street” and visit those lovely wine villages, just ask the hostess, she’d be happy to offer you insider tips.:) You have everything you need in walking distance here. Last but not the least, you can park your car safely for free in the yard, which normally costs 10 euros or even more per day in the city! All in all, we enjoyed our stay so much here and wanna thank you again for your hospitality and the heartwarming “surprise” for us in the end(it was delicious :)) Schöne Grüße aus Düsseldorf

Pros: Excellent location for someone who seeks a quiet, relaxed and natural setting. It is a real forest house with a homey atmosphere, very friendly couple who speak both German and French and all the amenities of a good hotel.
Cons: You must have a car.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The owners were a lovely, friendly and pleasant couple. The lady owner spoke English. Room was of an excellent size with a shower. Décor of the room was extremely good. Bed was very comfortable. The property was isolated in a river valley. It had a large garden with flowers, which was good for photographing the local butterflies and birds. There was a river at the bottom of the garden which also attracted birds. The breakfast was plentiful and varied. Andlau (the nearest village) had several good restaurants . 2km from the property there was an excellent Auberge which served local dishes.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The proprietor went out of her way to make us feel welcome and nothing was too much trouble for her. The breakfast provided was excellent with locally sourced food items. The room, whilst not huge, was perfectly adequate for us. The location and view was out of this world.
Cons: Bathroom is a little small but that is only a minor matter.

Pros: Hosts were extemely helpful, with lots of very useful information, organising tram ticket into Strasbourg.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: It is a room owned by a very friendly elderly man and his wife. The room is quiet and isolated from the rest of the house. The owner enjoys talking to the guests in French or German and providing a great service, including preparing breakfast and setting up an iron and ironing board. Staying there was a good experience.
Cons: Slightly off center, but the public transportation is pretty good, so it does not matter much. You can get to the city center within 10-15 minutes.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The room was large with a comfy seating area. It was lovely to have an area in the garden where we were able to sit. Our hosts made us very welcome.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very lovely host I ever met, this guesthouse is only one room which all guests will feel VIP experience. I came there early and not prior inform the host when I arrive. Cons: The shower room and flush toilet area is a bit cramped.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean, comfortable hotel in a charming village. The owner was incredibly helpful in corresponding before our visit and also during our stay. She clearly takes a lot of pride in the hotel. Dinner at the recommended restaurant Pressoir de Bachus, a few doors away, was amazing. Would definitely recommend both the hotel and restaurant.
Cons: WiFi was intermittent during our stay
7.5 Good
Pros: The village is beautiful, hotel neat, the owners extremely friendly and helpful, room spacey and clean, nearby restaurant good, parking on the street free and sufficient. Extra 8 E/person for breakfast was a well spent money.
Cons: No AC in the room (35deg.C outside temperature), no fridge, windows facing the street with considerate traffic noise late at night and very early in the morning. Lack of AC compensated by the provided powerful fan but the noise from the street was a big minus of our room. Recommend to bring earplugs!!

Pros: This hotel is situated in the midst of world-renowned vineyards and is ideal for walking and wine-tasting. The 'Winzenberg' is largely run by family members and you receive personal attention. The bedroom facilities are adequate and clean with comfortable beds. The breakfasts consist of homecooked and regional produce.

Pros: The location was ideal for flights to/from Strasbourg airport. It's not in central Strasbourg, and public transport is probably not ideal, so a car is basically needed. For our purposes, a quiet weekend getaway, it was great. The check-in and check-out processes were extremely smooth, and the reception staff very friendly. The room was standard, no frills. Very comfortable bed. Gets a bit warm though, especially if the shutters are closed. Breakfast was good with a decent selection, good quality food, and not too busy. 10.0 Excellent
Pros: This hotel communicated effectively to tell me the after-hours code. They have plenty of parking. Rooms were very clean. The view out our room was amazing. Restaurant was hopping when we got there despite the kitchen being closed for at least 30 minutes. I did ask about getting food and was initially told no, but she offered me salad and cheese (which was what I wanted anyhow) they made that after-hours and brought it up to the room free of charge. Excellent service all around. We were pleased with our stay here. Thick old walls made our stay very quiet.

7.5 Good
Pros: The room was comfortable, big bed, clean, the bathroom clean also.
Cons: At the check-in, the guy from the reception, told me that he needs to charge my card with 150 EUR, although the price for the room was 65. I asked why and he said that it's like a guarantee, in case of smoking in the room, broke something and so on and after the check-out the difference of the amount will be unblocked. I didn't agree, in the end he charged only 80. In the morning, again same problem at the check-out, a lady this time, wanted to charge my card again!? I explained her, that I already did this in the evening, and so on, in the end she said that it's ok and we can leave.
5.4 Okay
Cons: The toilet room smelled heavily like sewage during our stay. And on the next morning the cleaning staff opened the door before check-out time. He/she did not come in because we made sound inside to stop him/her.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The room was fine, WiFi worked, and there was enough parking space in front of the hotel. The location was okay, we used a public transportation, a bus line that is stationed outside the hotel. The staff was fluent in English.
Cons: The Hotel charge us a deposit fee of 150 euros although two nights in this hotel didn't matched our total price. They said that they have to check the minibar on our departure and the damage to the room, and if everything is fine, we would get the deposit back. The check out on Sunday is 7:30 so we had to wait for the receptionist. At our check out, the receptionist said they would check our room at 12:00 and then returned our deposit. That was unacceptable, so I demanded to check now and to lift the deposit fee. The receptionist (fluent in English) did not like this, but however he agreed and send a maid to our room. Then he lifted the deposit. Later I checked and there is written: "The hotel reserves the right to pre-authorize credit cards prior to arrival." I am fine if the reserved the amount I am supposed to pay for my stay, but there is nowhere written how much they would pre-autorize. So update your booking conditions and explain better.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean. Comfortable. Spacious. Nice balcony overlooking the garden. Free parking very helpful for road-trippers.
Cons: The holding deposit that was charged by the hotel took almost a week to be released. Otherwise nil.

Cons: The fact that I had to go out for dinner - no restaurant in the hotel.
7.9 Good
Pros: Personal very good!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: For the price, excellent room and very clean bed etc. Very well ventilated rooms.

6.7 Good
Pros: Beautiful building and surrounding gardens
Cons: Needs serious refurbishment of the whole hotel Not up to standards anymore
7.5 Good
Pros: Location And the facility in the hotel.
5.4 Okay
Pros: The staff is friendly and the hotel looks amazing from the outside. Well located and easily accessible by car.
Cons: Not a 5 stars Spa hotel at all. Spa area is not of a 4 stars hotel, let alone 5 stars: swimming pool smaller as in pics, jacuzzi small, and full of kids playing, sauna small, no drinks, no Spa personnel, it looks like low cost furniture ... no relaxing at all. Garden view means: parking view. No coffee maker in room (only instant coffee). No concierge. We looked for a relaxing weekend and we failed miserably. At checkout no chance to give feedback. Value for money: very poor.

9.6 Excellent
Pros: Nice and authentic place in the beautiful Mittelbergheim. The beds are very comfortable.
Cons: English is almost not spoken in the hotel. No eggs for breakfast and only one kind of cheese and one kind of ham, which for 10 euros is a bit poor. The only person who spoke English was not very kind in general. One small soap for two, no shampoo or shower gel. Towels quite used.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location, a kitchenette, good internet
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very atmospheric building, quirky room and bathroom. The restaurant was fabulous.
Cons: My only criticism was that the bedroom lights were too dim to read by.

Cons: Wifi wasn’t great. Didn’t work probably about 50% of the time.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: We stayed here as a stop over while travelling to Italy. It is good value for money - near the motorway but in a quiet, residential area. The facilities are clean and nice. Staff are friendly. We ate in the local restaurant, which was reasonably priced and specialises in local dishes.
Cons: Lots of insects in the area - bring repellant!

Cons: Staff unhelpful, walk from car park to reception with heavy bags in 40 degrees heat as side doors locked. Car park full and no space to park. Breakfast poor and ran out of items. Rooms very small and similar to IBIS or Campanile.
