The service was excellent, the location was great (free street parking) and breakfast timetable was extensive so we could sleep in. Breakfast quality was fantastic. I recommend the spa facilities.
This is a ultra-modern hotel with very friendly staff and lots of open spaces. It is only 10 minutes walk to the centre of the beattiful Las Negros Villages which has a fantastic setting and a few good bars and seafood restaurants. It is an idylic place to visit and the hotel is in a convenient but quiet location. The hotel is almost impossible to find because it is not in the centre with the other hotels and there are no signs anywhere and no obvious street names. We had to ask 3 times. On entering Las Negros you come to a large roundabout. Take the 1st exit, up a slight hill and the hotel is 300m on the right at the north end of the village.
Great location. Very nice staff. Wonderful room view. Hard to find as no signs in town.
The surrounding scenery is spectacular. Hotel is nicely and comfortably furnished in minimilist style. The sunrise on the sea is not to be missed. Very romantic and 'get away from it all' place. Our room was littered with dead and alive bugs that were the size of a cent. As the receptionist did not speak any English we just binned them and gone on with it! Pool not in use even though it was ideal weather for a swim. Do not think hotel is worthy of 4 stars.
excelent location in the middle of nature. Beautifull vews from your room and the sea at 15 min. walking. Silence !!!!!
The rooms are nice, spacious and decorated with taste. The bed is very comfortable. The staff is not very friendly.
The location of the hotel is great for peace, relaxation, hiking...in the middle of the country, but close to the beach with beautiful views. We found some big bugs in our room. The walls were very thin and we could clearly hear the guests in the next room.
Beautiful views of the surrounding countryside, very simple but stylist room and bathroom, short drive away from some lovely beaches, quiet and untouristy unlike many areas of spain. Was not informed that the advertised hotel pool was actually closed and is only open for a few months in the summer, hotel staff speak very little english, when paying at the end of the holiday the card machine would not accept any of our cards so had to drive to San Jose to get money out in order to pay, hotel in general a bit overpriced.
It is so remote if you want peace and quite. Great views all around you. Good food and very nice rooms. the directions to the hotel wre not very good at all. try google maps or tom tom and you end up 50 km away like we were. they need to make a big point that they are near san jose not almeria. no hard standing for motor cycles to park just soft gravel like the very long drive way so not very bike friendly.resturant staff spoke no english and no english menus. so bad in fact could not even understand 'beer' Take the trouble to find it though and you will be rewarded with fantastic views.
The hotel is very nice and the view is amazing. On't forget to book the beach view !!
The hotel is in a quiet and secluded area, and it was very peaceful there. I loved it!
Quiet location comfortable apartments with a great view. A good restaurant and friendly staff.
We very much enjoyed our two nights at Bitacora as we liked the relaxed, friendly management and the spacious apartment.
Rest, peace and quiet... Information about what to do... Striped pants are hot!
I liked the pleasant friendly service, the spacious apartment, the food, and attention to detail. At times the drains in the kitchen/ bathroom were a bit smelly.
It was very nice, interesting, place! We spend good time there. I'll recomend it to all!
it`s very picturesque place! there is pool from where you can see hills with cactuses and olive trees
nice and big houses located very well between a lot of green. the owners only speak Spanish
