9.2 Excellent
Pros: Off the tourist beat, in a rural Spanish village this is a place that is a hub for people from the surrounding area, so busy and lively at weekend lunch and in the evening. Quiet room. The host was very welcoming and despite our woeful lack of Spanish was very patient and made sure we understood everything. Fantastic views and loads of tracks and unmade roads good for walking or off road cycling. On site restaurant and bar were great.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Excellent hotel in a very quiet location. Food is very good.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Lovely restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinners. The hotel is in a small hill-top village about 30 minutes from Salamanca. Very peaceful, friendly staff, and comfortable facilities

Pros: Amazing little family run vineyard, we were pleasantly supprised as we didn’t realize it was a vineyard. So quiet and such beautiful surroundings we booked another 2 nights. Close the the city’s of Salamanca and Zamora. Free Parking onsite. Owners gave us good suggestions for food and sights nearby. Highly recommended.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We loved our stay here - it's great to be able to use the restaurant/bar as if it's our home and the staff/owners are incredibly friendly and helpful. A beautiful, quiet alternative to staying in Salamanca. What a great find!
Cons: Some more signage on the way for people arriving at night would be really helpful.

Pros: Staff very attentive and friendly. Couldn’t do enough for us.
Cons: Nothing
7.1 Good
Pros: Food and location was excellent.
Cons: There was very little lighting in the room, it was difficult to get ready, we received an iron that was dripping so much water that we could not iron the clothes. For the nightly rate that is being charged, it was expected to be flawless. In fact everything is quite over priced on the property.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Amazing property, very tranquil and delicious food. Rooms are spotless and well designed. The entire property is comfortable.
Cons: Reception is a bit removed once you enter the property (could be positive or negative), we found it hard to get information from staff who wasn’t at reception. Otherwise an amazing time.
7.1 Good
Pros: The location
Cons: Dissapointed in the bar menu which has degraded from previous visits and the lack of complementary water in the room, in days gone by the would offer a free bottle of wine in the room. For a pup market hotel they really should offer more international channels on the television for news most equivalent hotels I have stayed in do .
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was generous and the quality of the food offered was exceptional. The room was beautifully in keeping with the age and style of the building, and the sunrise view from our window over the river was spectacular. We did the included wine tasting experience and the guide was brilliant - definitely the best wine tasting experience I've done.
Cons: The only thing I didnt like was the farm tour, but only because it was predominantly in Spanish and I didnt understand much. The other people on the tour were all Spanish speakers, so it made sense that it was in Spanish, but if I had known that then I would have saved the 60euros and not gone. The food and wine were delicious, but it felt quite isolating to not understand what was going on, especially at lunch when I more or less sat in silence.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: An amazing experience! I wish we stayed for longer. Generous breakfast, beautiful property. A special place.
Cons: Nothing!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful location. Amazing dinner! Perfect wine from the vineyard/olive oil from the grove
Cons: Nothing

9.6 Excellent
Pros: An interesting building, beautiful and quirky. Our room was large and airy and the bed was exceptionally comfortable. Very clean and quiet. Good breakfast too.
Cons: Nothing, we enjoyed our stay.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Small village almost like something out of a cowboy movie but charming. Converted farmhouse has been done really well, very smart and comfortable. Owners own restaurant in the square adjacent is really good. From the outside looks like a Mexican cantina in The Magnificent Seven and inside really nice. Typically rural Spain rustic food. All grilled on an open fire and very good.
Cons: Very hard pillows, take your own!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Room large and comfortable, Breakfast very good cheese ,cold meat, croissants chocolate donuts, corn flakes, fresh orange juice coffee and toast with jams or tomato. Just enough to fill any body. Village small but friendly with several restaurants and bodegas. Food good beer cheap what more could you want. Really rustic and old , Zamora nearby well worth a visit to the old town full of very old churches and a really old castle.
Cons: Little difficult to find , you need a sat nav but worth it.

Pros: Absolutely lovely host and hotel - if you have the chance to stay there, go for it!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful room, lovely breakfast, and friendly staff. All very high quality.
Cons: I think the price could have been reduced given that it was off season.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was perfect.just what we needed. The village was charming and remote and we really felt we were seeing the real Spain. The Tesla charger was a major attraction for us.The welcome was outstanding.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: A special little oasis. Beautiful little terraces full of flowers. A little bit of heaven and a perfect place to relax
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Although our check in was a little disorganised they soon rallied round and we had a lovely roaring fire in our bedroom, which lasted throughout the night. Our meal was very good with everything home made and the owner was very proud to tell us most things were organic, my husband said his organic boiled egg was delicious for breakfast. This rural retreat was well worth coming off the motorway for, we were travelling with our two dogs who went for two lovely walks in the middle of nowhere so they could have a good run off leads. We stayed here on our first night travelling from Bilbao to the Algarve, if you like rustic peace and quiet we would highly recommend.
Cons: Check in, I’m not sure they were really expecting us and left us standing outside in the cold whilst they organized things, but they did apologise and after that all was good.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Quaint farmhouse in the country very quaint and quiet excellent supper
Cons: nothing really but some would not like the absence of TV or internet

Free WiFi is provided, and free private parking is available. Each room at La Yagona features a TV, a desk and a private bathroom with shower. A continental breakfast is served every morning at the hotel’s dining room; and packed lunches are available on prior request. The area is good for outdoor activities and several wine cellars are within 30 minutes’ drive of the hotel.
6.7 Good
Pros: Room was spacious enough
Cons: No wifi in rooms, contrary to advert. Would not have booked if had known this. Breakfast very poor. Staff took 20 min to give me correct wifi password
5.4 Okay
Pros: Room size, Parking, Air conditioning
Cons: We don't speak Spanish so choosing a property where we can communicate at least at a basic level is important. The listing incorrectly states the staff speak English. This resulted in issues not being able to be resolved. Wifi is only in public areas which is fine except when not advised of a function on the premises making it very uncomfortable with guests showing up while trying to plan our ongoing travel. Other posts indicated the breakfast was 'superb'. We found the 'Continental breakfast included' to be basic and when we checked out were surprised at a charge for a 2nd coffee.
