My family and I decided to take a vacation last week to this hotel. for the price (225USD per night per room, we got two rooms), we thought it was going to be a premium vacation and fancy place. Nothing of that! What we got was two standard rooms, one of which had the bath tub broken, the bath room door knob fell off, and a lot of interruption from the cleaning stuff still when the 'do not disturb' sign was on the door knob. On top of the outrageous rate we paid, we had to pay additional 7USD per day per person to use the gym, 13USD per day for internet, and 7USD per day for parking lot. Breakfast was pretty 3 star hotel. and to complete the trip a ladys' purse was STOLEN from the breakfast room!!! Really, really, bad experience! This hotel has nothing to do with the sheraton hotels I have staye before (asuncion, quito, and panama).
Reliable hotel in a City where reliability is far from guaranteed
Great location and service. Nice physical facility. Room was fine and staff went out of its way to be helpful. Almeria is perfectly located near old town. Stayed 5 nights and wished we had planned more.
internet access in room and lobby, spacious rooms, nice breakfast, terrace on the rooftop to relax, good room service Some rooms are noisy, because of air conditioning system or vicinity to elevator. One night I had to change my room twice in order to get some sleep.
good breakfast good staff and location
Good for the price paid
we were within walking distance of everything. the staff had a pleasent attitude not the typical argentian arrogance which is found throughout the country when staying at hotels. Our room had not been dusted in a long time. must have been half cm of dust on the desk, shelves, etc.
The rooms are big and well equiped. Swimming pool on the rooftop is worderfull. Breakfast was a mess, quality was good but the tabels were not cleaned, staff was not looking after if things were out.
The views are very nice, windows overlooking the city. Staff friendly but unexperienced, we asked them for a good restaurant and they sent us to a wanna be trendy horrible food place... the interior design is a luxury low cost proyect, nothing trendy or sophisticated if thats what you are looking for.. towels are old, swimming pool gets shady after 4....definetly not a 5 stars
Spaciousness, luxury, modern design, attentive staff, central location in Salta The fact that 21% VAT (tax) was added onto the price advertised by Bookings.com. This possibility had been mentioned, but when it in fact was charged, left a nasty flavour -a terrible pity to spoil the very pleasant experience it had been up to then.
Superb location, all major sights in 5-10 mins walking distance. Spacious room with splendid views of the city.
Very friendly and helpfull staf, great room everything is 'design' which does not mean comfort. It was impossible to take a shower without splattering the entire bathroom.
The room, rooftop pool, jacuzzi in the room, and location The food was terrible, breakfast stale and boring. Dinner way overpriced and not good. I have written a complaint and am waiting for a response. Should be much better for the money we paid.
I liked the exhibited Art of high class local artists and that every room had at least one pice of art which made the room unique. I also liked the view of the City since the entire Wall of the room was glass. More adapters are needed for foreign plugs.
The rooms and bathroom are admirable, spacious and very design. Also had dinner at the restaurant, was exquisite fine cuisine ! The staff very professional and friendly. The whole hotel is design with very good taste. We adored it !
The location was ideal; service was excellent, value was good, booking was easy. No
Good breakfast and friendly staff. Location close to the centre. The room needed major refurbishment and was not serviced during our two day stay. It was a poor standard tour operator type hotel and not suitable for the independent traveller. Value for money very poor when compared to the Hotel Candela which we stayed at on our return to Salta.
This hotel had all the amenities, large bathrooms and good location. It also had free private parking at it's sister hotel across the street. It was within walking distance to the main sights, restaurants and shops. This hotel had nice decor, a bar/cafe in the lobby and free wifi. You must specify that you want a double bed otherwise you may end up with a room with twin beds.
Spacious room. Parking garage included. Breakfast over average (for Argentina).
we arrived in teh early mornign hours and the staff were helpful in gettign us quickly and efficiently to our room, takign our bags. It was close ot the main plaza and shops and sites. Breakfast was less than inspiring
Very helpful and courteous staff. Hotel and specially pool need updating.
They opened their breakfast buffet at 5:30 am for us because we had to leave early. The buffet had lots of choices & was very good. Old carpet in the room, the rest of the room had been upgraded
We really appreciated this place. When we first got the the large, well designed room, we noticed it was slightly 'down at heel', but we got used the that very quickly, and other things very much compensated. Easy walking distance, great reception staff, excellent internet in the foyer, value for money for sure, rooms well sound proofed (often a problem in hotels) Breakfast staff did not really keep up supply of crockery and cutlery, so if you did not get there at 6 am, you might not get a plate or coffee cup.
The room and service were excellent. Location is also excellent and most attractions can be accessed on foot. We were three people who walk with two canes each. Access to the hotel required us to walk up about 12 stairs. Breakfast was poor especially for diabetics. A lot of sweet carbs, but this is true throughout Argentina. Service in the restaurant was extremely poor and slow.
night porter was verly helpful as we checked in very late at night.
