Also the bar for dinner and the breakfast is amazing. If you are looking for a relaxing spot far away from the city this is the place. I will come back for sure!
Cons: Nothing. Everything was just perfect!
Pros: We choose this hotel for our visit to El Escorial - it's an easy 15 mins drive. While the room was a bit disappointing, both dinner and breakfast were of very good quality. Free parking in their garage. We didn't use the pool but it looked nice from our window.
Cons: After reading so many good reviews, we were a bit disappointed with the hotel. Both the common areas and the room were very outdated. The room was much smaller than shown in the pictures. The bathroom had a very weird, nauseating smell and unfortunately no windows. On their website they explain that there are 2 options for dinner - one restaurant with a more extensive menu and another one with some smaller snacks. As we had a big lunch we wanted to go for the second option. However, when we arrived in the restaurant they told us that this menu was only possible in the weekends - we had to choose from the "larger" / more expensive menu which was normally served downstairs. When I told them that the "smaller" menu was provided in the room for room service (identical to the one we saw on the website), they said that we could order these dishes but we would need to pay 9 euros extra for the room delivery - it wasn't possible to have it in the restaurant during the week. Didn't make sense to us at all.

Pros: Lovely casa and garden, great old wooden beams and features in the house, very clean, helpful staff :)
Pros: The staff were extremely friendly, the building itself was beautiful, the location was great and I especially loved the little courtyard in the back where you could sit and relax at the end of the day.
Cons: Not so much the property but more the town - most places to visit only seemed to be open around the weekend. We were there on Monday and Tuesday and very little was open!
Pros: The room was bigger than I expected. More than enough for my two months old baby and us.
Pros: I adored the room as it was so unusual. The bed was very comfortable. Lots of hot water in the bathroom. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was excellent. I would recommend the hotel to anyone who wants a truly unique experience. I loved the place
Pros: That the stuff was very attentive and helpful with us n that the hotel was very clean.
Cons: That it didnt have a/c in the rooms.
Pros: The reception and the information was very good We felt very welcome We would come again to this place. All around is so nice So much nature
Cons: We did not get the right information about the parking Since we were on holiday we did not want to get too upset The owner of the hotel came out and helped us with the police, so we payed immediately We understood that if we will not pay quickly on the same day we shall have to pay double This is a very small village with a parking lot that if we would have understood the colours of the parking we would not get a fine The place does not have its own parking - and everybody that we asked told us there is no problem in parking where we did
Pros: Very original
Cons: Single bed
Pros: The host is a very friendly and helpful man, I enjoyed it really much to be there!! Muchas gracias

Pros: The views and the staff
Pros: Location is fabulous! Nice friendly family business. Artisan food, wine, beers. Good standard food all locally sourced. Modern 'boutique' styling. Hidden off road parking.
Cons: Everything was good but not sure I felt it was worth the price we paid for every part of it compared to other places we have stayed in Spain
Pros: Beautiful setting. Peaceful. Very Spanish. Lovely staff. Great find.
Pros: Cool temperature and interior. Lake swimming pleasant. A ‘buzz’ at the weekend due to Madrid folk . Good wine and craft beer
Pros: The staff were excellent. We do not speak Spanish, ashamed to say but staff went the extra mile to make us comfortable. Translating menu into English with mobile phone. The young man who served us at breakfast and dinner was excellent. Sorry we did not get your name.
Cons: Bring put into room 3 flights of stairs,no lift. My husband is 74 years of age, luggage not heavy but steep stairs. Especially as we were only guests in hotel. Also as we were in roof space no view of lake. Disappointed in choice of room given.
Pros: It was beyond beauitful! Such a friendly staff, amazing view and great food.
Pros: Absolutely lovely place and wonderful staff! The rooms have wonderful views and the location is sublime.
Cons: Would have loved to try the lovely yogurt advertised on the walls :) Perhaps having drinking water, coffee/tea facilities that could be accessed overnight when there is no one around. Other than that, perfect place!
Pros: Amazing location, rooms are lovely!

Cons: i wish I knew more Spanish because there was a lot of nice people i could have got to know more.
Pros: Lovely location which was very clean and comfortable. The air conditioning was very welcome.
Cons: The noisy teenagers in the next cabin, but that’s not the fault of the establishment. Having said that it would be appreciated if some thought were given to placement of guests.

Cons: Property was spotless clean. Recommend family sweet.
Located in El Tiemblo, Hotel Rural Don Burguillo is a 2-minute drive from Iruelas Valley Nature Reserve and 9 minutes from Museo de Adolfo Suarez y la Transicion. The front desk is staffed during limited hours.
Pros: Hotel receptionist was a nice person.
Cons: Lonesome hotel, no proper car park, long and steep staircase to get to reception, no lift to first floor, bedroom window overlooked an untidy wilderness and derelict properties, outside the hotel other abandoned and derelict properties, no dinner available in hotel, local town of El Tiemblo had no decent restaurants open, the only restaurant open serving overpriced food heated up in microwave; next morning breakfast in the hotel a complete disgrace, the coffee was OK, but there was no fruit juice and the bread and cereals were stale.
Pros: The hotel manager was friendly and helpful, the hotel was Rural as described and very close to the beautiful burguillo reservoir.
Cons: It took us a while to find it it was 4 kilometers from El Tiemblo
Pros: The area is beautiful, amazing forests, overlooking the dam. Great small villages nearby to have great tapas and nice local wine. The hotel is brand new renovated with great facilities. They cooked beautiful meals. But the best of all is the staff. They are super helpful, they will make you feel like home and give you lots of great tips. Thank you for an amazing weekend.

Pros: Spacious, clean, close to town, bathroom in every bedroom. Easily accommodates large group.
Cons: The hot water for showers never got hot, barely warm. No wifi at the house.
House located next to the mountain and the river Cofio with excellent views. It is a very quiet place located two kilometers from Robledo de Chavela. My house is located at the foot of the mountain. The setting is beautiful just for walking. There are also hiking trails where you can enjoy a beautiful landscape. It has four rooms, two of them with private bathroom (with shower and bathtub). Another room is a small studio with a small kitchen and a double bed, as well as a private bathroom with a shower. It has a large living room and kitchen. All this gives the garden area, still very rural, in the process of improvement. In spite of this it is very beautiful and the views are beautiful. It is an ideal place to enjoy with family or groups of friends.
Pros: - the host and her kids - fair price for the stay
Cons: - basic stay but value for money
Pros: Sonia is an excellent host, available and kind. Breakfast were prepared with love and abundant. The view from our room was amazing. The area is silent and calm. Excellent place to relax and disconnect from a challenging tourist excursion as the ones in the area can be (Escorial, Segovia, Avila or Toledo).
Pros: Clean ,comfortable,good breakfast,pretty owner

Cons: Soap dispenser in bathroom
Pros: The room was very large, clean, warm and close to the lift. The bathroom was just as large and was well equipped including facilities for the disabled. The bedroom had glass doors opening on to a balcony with table and chairs. The staff were great and nothing was to much trouble. I am considering changing my route home so I can visit again.
Cons: I cannot think of anything I did not like and will definitely stay again in the future but for more nights.
Pros: Room was extremely spacious and spotlessly clean. Large and comfortable beds in our twin room. Air con in room was easily understood and worked perfectly. Decent sized tv. Plenty of storage space.
Cons: Breakfast is served in the adjoining bar restaurant as opposed to a separate dining room and consists of a drink with a pastry or toast. Not a major problem as Booking.com had this as breakfast not included and maybe the reason why.
Pros: Comfy bed, large room with balcony and nice view, good hot shower, typical Spanish breakfast of good coffee, tomato toast and freshly squeezed juice
Cons: Restaurant not open in evening, room needed more furnishings
Cons: Staff did not speak English. No refrigerator in the room while it cost 100$/night at an area far from big city.

Pros: There was a lovely big swimming pool, and our room was quiet. The staff were pleasant, and coping well with the lack of wifi and banking communications following that weeks forest fire which cut the town off. However, the room was hot, and the fan quite ineffective in cooling it. Worse still, we were told that breakfast would START at 10am! Even for Spain that's crazy. We had to leave well before that, and couldn't even get a coffee.
