Friendly staff, very good breakfast both in quality and range of items N/A
balcony view. good location. helpful and friendly staff. ugly and old furniture, ceramic floor in all the hotel, including the room, 2 single beds instead of one double bed, bad pillows, old sheets and blankets, very old tv, the remote control did not function. needs to improve cleaning. ugly bar, bad ventilation, impossible to breathe even for a smoker!
Difficult to locate...
Excellent quality, nice positioning outside Andorra la Vella, very friendly staff. The new part is way better than the old, the part with the suites.
Staff were friendly, breakfast wasn't bad rooms were good No facilities for kids 10/12. Neither in town or at slopes had to get into car for everything.
Really perfect! Beautiful hotel, friendly staff, outstanding location, perflect cleaning... breakfast and dinner very good and in good quantity. I will return for sure!
It is a very comfortable hotel in a beautiful surrounding. I would definitelly recommend it.
Good location, nice ambient, excellent food, friendly staffs Rooms are a bit too small. Lack of facilities, Hard to adjust room temperature
We were very comfortable and made to feel welcome, wish we had planned to stay longer. We also got good sight seeing advice from the reception.
An excellent hotel. Spacious, clean, comfortable rooms. Good service, friendly staff, fantastic view, very good breakfast and a nice swimming-pool. no reservations
great place, good food Our bedroom was a little small
Very comfortable, great food and relaxed atmosphere. No
great breakfast buffet difficult to find; poor handling of credit card
Breakfast How an apartment for 6 persons has only one room with a double bed? The other 4 persons have to fight over two bunk beds and a sofa that are to small for adults. Very bad experience, 3 nights of bad sleep after exhausting day skiing.
Very friendly family run hotel, high standards of service & cleanliness provided during our stay, most enjoyable stay. No dedicated bar area with comfortable seating to relax and enjoy a drink & snack after hard day on slopes.
This hotel is excellent offering large suite accomadation, a very good breakfast selection and a wonderful location. It is also outstandingly clean and very well presented and could be used as an example to many other hotels.
The friendless of the staff, the hotel's cleanlisness & facilities.
The rooms and the calmness of its location it did not have dinner service (restaurant)
hotel, setting, comfort, decor, size of rooms, staff, breakfast etc etc etc etc etc extra charge for using microwave in suite
We would like to thank the owner of this nice hotel for making our stay there a pleasant experience . Everything was well organised, the room was very clean and comfortable. The hotel location offers a spectacular mountain view which you can enjoy from every corner of this place. The guest treatment was extremely friendly and warm. Thank you again!
Great hotel, clean and spacy rooms, helpful and friendly stuff. Hotel is not directly on the main road as most of Andorra hotels, so you can enjoy quiet enviroment, but still close to Canillo center (10mins by walk, 2mins by car). We definetely reccomend this hotel. Smaller bathroom
Superb modern hotel.Man on reception very helpfull.Quality breakfast including a full English breakfast .Rooms large and clean incuding nice shower. Best hotel we have stayed in for many years. Good secure car parking. Could not fault this hotel.Very very high standard.
Excellent clean accommodation. Friendly reception staff who were especially very helpful and understanding when we had car difficulties and needed a late check-out. Beautiful location in Ordino. We loved the mountain views, and our young children loved the playground directly across from the hotel. Would definitely stay here again.
Hotel staff, comfort in the room, location, room design.
Very nice place comfortable and attractive for families Parking facilities at the hotel area are not good
i liked the hotel because i read the reviews before i booked and lived up to my exoectations the evening meal was not up to my expectations
nice decor, ambiance, facilities for children were excellent no parking available and municipal (paid) parking was expensive. the rooms were too hot and temperature could not be regulated
We liked the hot broth soup available all day in the lobby and the view from the hotel room balcony was breathtaking. The lobby was very cozy after Skiing all day and sitting by the fire. The Bell Hop was very kind and helpful for the length of our stay. Expired food delivered with room service. Room not cleaned one day after skiing (had to wait in lobby and was never notified when it was complete). Hotel has no hair conditioner available. The Pool and the Hot Tub were not very comfortable due to the water jets in both sprayed out freezing cold water. Front desk staff seemed to be more irritated with the inconvenience of fixing the issues that we had rather than trying to make us more cofortable with our stay. I have stayed in various classes of Hotels over the years and I know that I could have spent a lot less at a 3 star hotel and received better service. For a Five Star Hotel I would have expected a lot more.
loved the spa! amazing
nice bed !! staff were rude, unfriendly and where not able to give us any information about the area which i thought was strange
Excellent location, friendly staff, good facilities. Room floor had not been adequately cleaned on arrival but was promptly corrected. Smoking is allowed in the hotel - this was awful.
Very good facilities, friendly staff and good food. The underground car park. Lack of wardrobe space in rooms and no tables/chairs on the balconies.
Common Areas Garage
the whole atmosphere and friendliness of the hotel. The reviews dont do the hotel justice everything about the hotel was fantastic
The location is fantastic. The rooms should have air conditioning. There was no hot water between about 5.00 and 8.00pm
Convienient for the gondolla and bus to other resorts Room and food were average for the price
The hotel was quite clean and conveniently located for access to the lift and the apres skiing facilities. The staff was very polite and helpful. The only issue was noise as either the walls in the hotel are not thick enough or not sufficiently isolated.
Comfotable and relaxing surrundings with lovely pool area
Cleanliness and friendliness
Excellent location; simple but clean rooms with good facilities; helpful staff;
convenience , friendly staff no tea and coffee facilities in the rooms
The location is excelent: at the edge of the village, close to the beginning of walking paths into the forest, with a wonderful view of mountains. Rooms are big, lovely decoration, very clean. The windows are big, allowing for a lot of light and fresh air. The guy on the reception who did speak English was very helpful. All the stuff was pleasant. Breakfast was not very varied, but each item was of very good quality. Overall, the hotel just gives you a pleasant feeling. It's comfortable and welcoming. 1. Not all the stuff at the reception desk speak English on a satisfactory level. One of the women didn't speak English at all, which was a little problematic, since it was her we've met when checking in. However, all tried to help as well as they could. 2. At breakfast there were absolutely no fruits or vegetables, fresh or otherwise. While the quality of the food that was there was excelent, I found this lack frustrating. It would be expecially problematic for people adhering to a vegetarian or a vegan diet. 3. Apparently there are no non-smoking rooms in the hotel. Our room reeked of cigarette smoke when we first entered it. The smell disappeared entirely after a few hours of open windows, but that left the room very cold at our return.
The only one is: the internet is now strong. We need to connect it in restaurants.
We liked being half board. About 300 metres from the Gondola meant we could walk there in about 5 mins. Coming back took longer as it was uphill and we were tired after skiing all day. There was one day when we had no hot water for a bath. In fact the water was cold coming from the hot tap.
The hotel was very good value for money. Not a luxury hotel by any means, but excellent accommodation within this price bracket. The breakfast was very generous with a good variety of foods and we enjoyed a tasty evening meal on a couple of occasions.
A warm friendly hotel and its location in relation to activities Breakfast should include a selection of fresh fruit.
All OK All ok
It was a nice stay. The pool was cool. Maybe the food is not very exciting...
Nice building, nice place spare blankets and pillows not clean.
Comfortable, well maintained, good location for us. We were starving after a long day so didn't want to wait till 8 pm for dinner.
Friendly staff, they helped us finding the restaurant we want it. Really modern hotel, maybe too much. Anyway everything it's new cool stuff and looks pretty. Amazing surroundings close to the mountain, really quiet place ;D Also you have free mini bar with drinks and loads of stuff as shampoo, razor, tooth brush etc. The room looks bigger in the pics, but was ok. We didn't have warm water until 1 am of the next day...that was not their problem, but we couldn't take a shower. They offer us a discount for next time as a rewards. As I said was not their fault.
The hotel is new, modern and very well located. The breakfast was excellent, much more than the continental breakfast we'd booked. The atmosphere was relaxing and easy going, though it must be said that we stayed there just before the ski season and the hotel was very quiet. I would recommend it. Its very close to the hamlet of Erts where there are a couple of good restaurants. The room was very nicely decorated but really quite small. The lighting throughout the hotel is very subdued and at times this made us feel a bit disorientated.
the situation near to the skipist, the hotel is new , the staff is really friendly, the restaurant is good and is near to the vella. maybe the price for the room is a little bit expensive
Nice hotel, cosy lobby with lots of wood and carpets, atmosphere of a grand chalet, half an hour drive from Andorra la Vella capital city, and half an hour drive from skiing in the mountains, most of the staff speak english. What goes for Spain, goes for Andorra as well : if You don't speak Spanish, then service from people and people beiing friendly is getting worse. Only a few restaurants in the village, and by Spanish habit the only open from eight a clock in the evening. One site of the hotel a narrow busy street, other site building constructions, ask for a room overlooking the pool.
Friendly Staff nothing was to much trouble for them
The staff was very friendly and helpful. A reservation issue was fixed quickly and with a great attitude to please.
Quiet room with tripple glazed windows, friendly staff, good breakfast free (but tight) parking Despite being a Non Smoking room it smelt from deodorant used to cover smoking smells
Spacious Public rooms, excellent restaurant.
the design, the reception lady was excellent the smell in the room was so strong that i couldn't sleep and dinner was not eatable, last issue: the staff don't know english so it could be a problem
The location in front of the telecabine is something fantastic!!!!
Everything. Staff friendly and helpful. Evening meal and breakfast superb. Room was clean tidy and really comfortable and a pleasure. Facilities were more than adequate. Great location. more choice in mini-bar would be nice.
Very nice, clean and cosy. A very nice new wellness/Spa centre. Good fitness equipment and excellent jacuzzi( really a whole swimming pool).Excellent balcony. Could be indicated on the hotel page that wellness is for extra cost ( even fitness ). And it could be open also on morning hours. Parking a bit tricky as no reservation is possible- it seemed not enough places for all cars.
Their internet facilities did not work.
The location was good. it was very close to ski lift. The parking was convenient. The value for money is very poor, I have booked the room for family 2 adults and 2 children, the room was very small, and the additional beds were actually the convertible sofa. We could hardly move within the room. The buffet was very poor and the freshness of the food was very suspicious. The radio speakers are present and noisy every where in the hotel so. In general I was amazed this is a 4 stars hotel !!
Location The restaurant staff was insufficient a without the right attitude. Food is not at the level of a 4 star hotel.
skiing restaurant spa
Well situated. Staff most helpful. Good breakfast
Good location, close to cabins up to the slopes. close to restaurants. Very complicated to store and dry ski clothes. No hooks or things to hang clothes on. No dryer. The rooms not so well soundproofed.
Good hotel. Breakfast was standard Breakfast was basic
Location close to sky access Rooms are to small and facilities are more close to 3 stars than 4
Cleanliness of room etc and professionalism of staff. Very noisy neighbours - long queues at reception at peak times as only one member of staff working.
Close to where I needed to go. Breakfast was a bit repetetive.
convenient for ski cable car lift parking facilities were good, but expensive and there was little alternative for those arriving by car (this is something that your review should cover - sorry if I missed it) buffet style dinners were a complete shambles, with staff not well organised, although some staff very supportive at breakfast only machine served coffee and tea was available (and on one morning this broke down and scores of people had to use one microwave to make a hot drink!) This is not 4 star service!!!
It has a great location right next to the sky lifts so no car necessary
The comfort of the room, the food and catering staff in particular were nice. The location, so close to the ski lifts was excellent. The price of the car park is robbery after you have paid so much for the rooms, there is no where to pull up initially to unpack the car, we werent told that we needed swimming hats and flipflops to use the fitness suite and on top of what we had already paid I thought 3 euros each for 5 of us for a hat was too much.
the food, the room with hydromassage and the price the room were very hot
...the location of the hotel The quality of the meals in the restaurant (dinner) was not equivalent to the "level" of the hotel.
The hotel is located in Ordino which is a very picturesque town in the mountains of Andorra and very close to a number of ski resorts. The hotel room was clean although starting to show its age. It was fine for us as all we want is a clean room and good bathroom at the end of a day of sightseeing. There was no aircon in the room which got hot at night, the hotel itself is old and was showing it with cracked walls, creaky floors and outdated decor. The breakfast was terrible.
Its location in the centre of Ordino, its friendly and helpful staff and its comfort and informality
Great location and a few reasonable restaurants within a 5 minute walk. Their was no English language list of Hotel Amenities and no Room Service as far as we could see. Also, I would prefer to have internet access in the room - although free wifi was available in the reception area.
Staff very friendly and helpful. Food was very good. Twin beds were uncomfortable and mattresses were covered in plastic sheets. Lack of pillows.
Great staff and in a beautiful location. Rooms were very comfortable and price was good
beds were a bit hard
Relaxed athmosphere. We stayed only one night, but felt welcomed. The food was very goodd. Coffeemachine could be improved.
The village itself and the friendly reception staff No
The proximity to the chair lift and the ski hire is excellent. The staff and the facilities are very good. The hotel has a nice atmosphere.
location is adjacent to lift but good walk out of town . Rooms contain cooking facilities , table , chairs , sofa etc... Facilities are definitely 3 star . Food is average .
We were meant to be staying at the Husa Patagonia but when we arrived at the front door there was a notice directing us to the hotel Husa Xalet Verdu, 400 yards further down the mountain and all the comments apply to that hotel. The hotel had a good situation with views down the valley and the bathroom was new and the bed comfortable. We had dinner one night and although the food was plentiful, it was not very inspiring and so we ate out the following night.
decent breakfast, room basic but kept well heated and clean, staff friendly. Toilet and bathroom good, plenty hot water. noisy fridge. no bedroom. Mini club was not attractive to children. No equipment for cooking.
The staff in the restaurant were very friendly and helpful. The food was excellent. Proximity to the ski lift was fantastic. The pull out sofa beds were narrow and uncomfortable.
The hotel is perfectly situated alongside the chair lift. We found the staff friendly and helpful and it offers excellent value for money
Right next to the ski lift. Very friendly and warm. Good food. Good beds to rest. The noise on the grund floor (music, people singing) is disturbing for people on rooms in the 1st floor.
The rooms are spacious apartment style rooms. The bar area is comfortable and a good atmosphere. The location for the chair lift was fantastic and it is one of the only hotels in Arinsal that you can ski right down to. The chair lift next to the hotel is not the main gondola that the rest of the resort uses so there is never a queue in the morning. We picked this hotel because it had sauna/steam room facilities but found out that this was a chargeable extra at 10 euros for 30 mins. The buffet had less choice than I have been used to at HB/AI hotels but we were always well fed. With 2 vegetarians in the group we were generally ok except on one night when it was salad/potato only for mains. Even though the rooms have a fridge/kitchenette there are absolutely no utensils/plates/pans/cutlery so you couldn't actually use the kitchen facilities unless you brought your own.
Good food, good position, very pleasant staff, friendly. Breakfast needs to be served from 7.30am for people having ski lessons in the morning.
