As advertised the view from the room of the waterfalls and the rainforest and cool breeze thru the night ( as we kept the windows open with mosquito nets) made it an heavenly stay. We woke up to the sound of the birds which were aplenty and in variety.
The drive there from Panama City was 3+ hours. We went by Uber which $158. Nothing to do with the property but we should have rented a car instead. The return was great thru local buses - we got a sample of the community and people going from the villages to the city
Surrounded by nature
The setting was absolutely stunning. The staff were fabulous. Food was pretty good although the menu is small if you are there for more than a few nights and there is nowhere else to eat.
The rooms could use an update. Some fresh paint and new pillows. Bed was comfortable. Our bathroom had a beautiful view of the waterfall but the glass has a large crack through it too.
Great staff and the waterfall.
Waking up with the bird songs. The massage and spa facilities. The staff very friendly and supportive.
I could say my dinner choice. Unfortunately it was cold and with slight rain, at least for me, to join the waterfall.
