I loved the location, service & comfort of the hotel. I was a great experience.
Excellent location and very convenient acess to numerous restaurants. Also easy access to business offices.
view the fact the i was unable to change my booking even though when i came into confirm it was two nights, no one corrected me and said it was only one. Then i got an email from the hilton saying it was only one night. and i was unable to get 2 nights, and couldnt afford to pay for another one so was stranded in adelaide with no where to stay
Close to where we needed to be Skanky toenails on floor of our room, kettle didn't work 9had to hold button down for it to boil), elevators refused to go to floor level even using room card (at one stage we were stuck in there), wind howled through the window that we couldn't shut properly all night, & they bought us someone elses car when we went to leave! Oh and they "upgraded us" when we arrived. I'm sure this meant there was a double booking.
particularly liked the buffet breakfast, which was one of the best we have had, and service was excellent
The hotel was excellent value for what I paid. The rooms are large and clean. The breakfast is excellent, as is the service in the hotel. The location is also great.
The room was comfortable, and had a good desk and work lamp, something I consider particularly important. All aspects of my stay were handled efficiently and without fuss. The conference facilities were good, if a little cramped.
I like the hotels location, the service provided by the staff and the standard of the rooms. No
The staff were very helpful and friendly, also full buffet breakfast was supplied which was a lovely extra. There was an excellent selection of movies on the movie channel, though the price was a little bit steep. Overall, the stay was enjoyable and comfortable, we will definately stay again.
Excellent service from duty managers and concierge, cleanliness of rooms, excelelnt breakfast. Mattress on the bed was not too firm.
We were upgraded to a loft suite which was spacious and excellent location on top floor with good views towards the Grange coastline. Hotel was very good quality throughout. Bar snacks very good. Excellent location, friendly and very helpful staff. Valet car parking was very efficient and reasonable price. Highly recommend this hotel. Could not find a fault.
The room was bigger than expected, the whole hotel was extremely well maintained than other hotels I have stayed at. All the staff were polite and welcoming. The parking was right across the road from the hotel and the room service food was delicious :) The only bad point was when we tried to purchase a movie on the tv and all we got was a black fuzzy screen. We reported it but the problem was unable to be fixed. Obviously a technical problem and can't be helped.
Once I found the place, my wife & I were overwhelmed by hospitality & product on offer everything was exceptional - only hard to find place
Front Desk customer service was excellent as was the Bar & Restaurant service
It is convenient to move around, the tram is just cross the road, within walking distances in town, it is quiet.
Swift check in, pleasant staff and the room was very comfortable. The hotel is central to shopping and we enjoyed our stay. I think parking for hotel guests should be included in the price of the room,
We were upgraded, the comfort of the room and the location Though we were upgraded the outlook of the room was terrible, i.e. a carpark and another building very close.
The room was a very reasonable size and very clean. It was central to all that we needed. Public transport, shopping, eateries.
Ornate details, great service Only one chair in room
Excellent service. The staff were nice, friendly and helpful. Excellent location, so close to all amenities. Nice and spacious room. Relaxing lounge and bar. The quality of bathroom stuff such as shampoo, conditioner and soap (gel) and the spa not cleaned after use.
I stayed in one of the suites which was fantastic. The staff were really helpful and it was a pleasure to stay at the Rendezvous.
The comfortable bed. I didnt make use of the facilities the Hotel had as I was busy with business and shopping. Just used the room to sleep in. I have stayed there on previous visits and had the breakfast and utilised the gym and downstairs dining. Very good.
The view from the 17th floor was excellent. Worthwhile upgrading to the higher floors for this reason.
room service was great, a little overpriced as anyone would expect, the room itself was fantastic, didnt really leave the room for anything there were no bathrobes in the room when we checked in, but were brought up quickly when called, the bed was a bit uncomfortable, the springs stuck into my back,
Its facilities and location. The wait to get my car from carpark, but no big deal.
the facilities were easy to access and had a reception for cars. the room was certainly clean. The room had very poor mini bar for late night check in. the basin taps were broken, the shower flexy hose was split, the spa was too small, the spa taps were broken.
Excellent service. The staff at the hotel were the best I have come across in comparison to most hotels. They were extremely helpful, courteous and polite, especially Amir the front office executive (forgot his designation). Our room had a broken faucet, which seemed to have escaped everyones' attention. Whilst clean, the room, rather the bathroom, still had a old, musty unpleasant odour to it.
The quality of hotel itself was great - rooms large - bathroom large and very tastefully appointed. Good bed - well chosen fittings and fixtures. Staff extremely helpful and friendly. My main concern was with housekeeping which was inconstistent.
The bar layout and arrangement and the news papers and business news in the morning. being able to have that early morning coffee without having to have breakfast.
The pillows were very comfortable and the lighting was relaxing My booking on booking.com could not be found and I was tired and hungry and had to wait for 1/2hr to get into my room
The food was not nice at all - both dinne and the buffet breakfast. The carparking on the internet was specified as $12 per day yet we were charged $18 but there was no advice on the internet of the difference in charging for valet parking. No attempt was made by the staff to rectif that situation so for the difference of $6 and the non-help in this situation we will not consider staying here again nor recommend this to friends and work colleagues.
great being in the heart of the city close to the function I was attending. Very comfortable bed. Not a particularly good view from our window.
I found the waiting staff very friendly - (not impersonal and trying to be the person in the background, if you know what I mean. some waiting people deliberatly don't interact with the customers, which is sometimes very off putting) No, we stay here often, We always get good service.
very friendly service
All Staff were friendly and helpfull Thought night dining was a bit restricted in choises of food
we could book a twin bed room (rather than double/king) and this was great as two friends sharing, staff were very friendly, rooms were ok bed extremely soft, hindley street has a lot of strip clubs very close to the hotel
Quiet, clean, large room, central, good hot water/shower Bathroom getting tired. Mattress too soft.
staff very friendly. room is exactly the same as it was on the picture. value for money. ice cubes not refilled. service for check out called on our door to check minibar and bathroom at 8am when were not due to leave untill 11am.
Have stayed here for 12 odd years through different ownerships....clean, excellent location, feel at home and friendly staff although a lot of the long term employees have moved on. Charge for self parking
I was very impressed with the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. I go overseas a lot and your staff have to be one of the best I have stayed with.....thankyou. The King size bed was not comfortable at all. It was too soft and had NO support.
The staff were cheerful. The health gym was decent and had a nice view overlooking the water. Facilities and rooms look aged. Buffet breakfast was below average. I'm not sure the scrambled eggs are real eggs--seems from a mix...taste like the mush I imagine being served onboard the ship in the Matrix when Neo leaves the augmented reality.
Very nice staff. Friendly and accommodating. Nice clean rooms. Conveniently located.
Central to the city, did not have to travel out of our way to other destinations. Staff were very friendly and warm will definantly think of staying there again some items were not in the mini bar but were listed as being in fridge
View and proximity to city shops. expensive
the ease to get around town location
Conveniently located, great staff, good food, great concierge. booked a room for city views, did not get it,as we stared at cement walls outside.
The staff were really friendly and patient.
the reception staff were very accomaditing but couldnt fix the hot water in my room .very disappointing..there was no hot water for the duration of my stay...
The location and amenities were great - always love this hotel It was all very good
Excellent location. The workers at the concierge desk were wonderful -helpful and friendly Room full of cigarette/cigar smoke the second night. Coming through the vent in the bathroom.
the Thai concierge was great he deserves a pat on the back
Proximity to City Centre but far enough away from it not to feel claustrophobic. Room with a view. Rather cool Reception which dragged "Hotel staff" above down from "Excellent" to "Good".
ease of arrival and valet parking at a reasonable price. Proximity to transport, taxis etc. helpful staff. Only one thing annoyed me and this was the bed covers were too thick so I was either too hot or no covers too cold.
Door Man & receiption are very helpful. No smoking area in the hotel.
The staff were generous enough to upgrade our room to a suite when they heard that it was our 20th wedding anniversary and we were returning to our honeymoon hotel. The kids also enjoyed our stay - and the kids menu at the restaurant was great. It's definitely a "Special Occasion" hotel as the prices would prevent most people from staying every day. It was the perfect luxury weekend to celebrate our 20th anniversary.
It was a very convenient location as we went to the Cabaret Festival. very helpful staff, the room was very comfortable and clean, the foyer gave a sense of luxury and cleanliness on first entrance and excellent restaurants and piano bar.
all in point 1 that i ticked
Impressed with the size and comfort of the room and the view. Meals very expensive
Professionalism of the staff and the presentation of the hotel and our room
My husband has a mobility scooter and the reception staff were marvellous, making sure he got in and out of the quite narrow mobility door in the hotel. Some of the furniture in the hotel could do with a refurbishment.
The hotel was very convenient, clean and comfortable. The reception staff who worked very long hours was very pleasant but not as up to date with tourist information as I would have expected but tried to help us. The car parking was a bit tedious getting in and out of on the weekend.
It was convenient for a one night stay in Adelaide city Centre it was souless and begining to be tired from a decorative perspective. Bathroom old-fashioned in today's terms.
Food was excellent. room service was excellent. Pool and spa were very clean and well maintained Electric kettle unable to be filled under the sink tap. this seems to be usual for most hotels. Not an insurmountable problem.
The location and room size. Seems a bit tired and run down compared to previous stays here.
Big and comfortable rooms. Central location
The location was very convenient. The decor was a bit shabby. There was a dirty mark on the blanket which made my skin crawl, there was one, hard pillow each with no extras. The furniture was dirty. I would probably not go there again.
internet was so slow that it was not functional
central location noisy water pipes, staff unhelpful in solving problem of sleepless nights as a result of these waterpipes
We had a lovely weekend getaway in Adelaide at a very reasonable price. We found the counter staff very helpful and friendly and will certainly be back again.
The king size bed was good, very comfortable and good sheeting made it also nice. I found the directions for after-hours entry did not work. We tried the side door but our key didn't open the door. Had to use the front door buzzer.
I liked the prompt service from the friendly staff and the fact the room was very quiet. The pillows were uncomfortable ....too hard
Layout and design of suite. colour scheme
The room facilities were great, and it was nice to have the breakfast buffet included in the meal price There was no pool or spa
i liked the facilities eg toilet and bath, bedroom well furnished and the sitting area is good especially with the views of the park and the city.the carpets were neat and clean and the room service was just good and did not take time.keep it up. i only feel that the reception of some of the tv stations need to be improved,eg foxsports 2.
Location this was my second visit
This hotel, like a couple of others I have stayed in recently, did not have any drawers or shelves in the hotel room. I find this very irritating.
The central location to the city and the comfortable amenities of the 2 bedroom apartment including spacious living area, separate bedrooms and very good equipped kitchen The apartment was not serviced on the Saturday including replacement of the tea and coffee supplies and making of the beds
the room was quiet and it was central to where we wanted to go. We could also park right out the front. the rooms were a little dark with no enough natural light - but what can you do about that? question 4 in this review - young or mature (i dont think we fit either category.... e.g. fourties (that's not what you mean by mature is it? More the 'bit of spare cash and desperate to get away from children' age group.
No access to a printer
Quality of building throughout was very good. Excellent value for money during peak period in Adelaide.
I loved the bathroom and luxuriated in a long hot bath. Blissful after a long day. Nothing not liked although I believe the uniforms of staff could do with a style update.
the customer service was great. as the hotel name is majestic roof garden we expected more fashion on the roof garden...
The location and the rate. The staff also were very friendly. The fact that there wqere no bar facilities on the rooftop terrace.
The hotel all together was pleasant stay.
Extra friendly staff
Improvement in staff attitude's compared to previous stay at this hotel in 2006. Most staff were pleasant and helpful. Receptionist Isabella extremely courteous and professional. TV set not working in original allocated room. Room safe not working in new room and was only repaired on the Monday.
Theatre-shopping -restauranting All was excellent except FOOD.breakfast very poor ,too expensive, menu in room service very basic and expensive.other food in hotel too expensive for what it was.maybe a lobby drink dispenser would be helpful.otherwise hotel was so enjoyable.
the staff that clean the room are great. the rooms are quiet and the location is perfect. the tv's are so last century, please update them, and the pillows don't come up to the standard of the rest of the room
good clean rooms, new, very comfortable. I would say this indeed the best hotel in Adelaide. i like it better than staying at the Hyatt...which is the only other hotel i would stay at.
The hotel was perfectly situated for my situation as I had an appointment at the RAH at 8.30 a.m. therefore convenience was the ordfer of the day.
space no service
Peace and quiet, staff very helpful General standard of meals could be improved
Clean, reasonably comfortable. We had booked two non-consecutive nights and were able to leave car there in-between. No offer to assist with luggage. Beds about due for update.
The location is in a great spot to enjoy shopping through the day and in the evening the nightlife. I found the best Cocktail Bar just up from Breakfree, you don't wander too far for great food either. no
Tidy, quiet and spacious accomodation very proximal to Adelaide city for shopping, entertainment and dining.
Fairly convenient but situation not very salubrious for children. Staff very helpful and cheerful Room very dark and enclosed - no view. Not enough comfortable seating in the lounge
The reception staff were excellent. They were professional, courteous and most helpful. Our room absolutely stank of smoke. Except for the fact that it's location within the complex was good for my elderly mother, I would have asked to move. The bathroom dirty in places (soap dish hadn't been cleaned at all!) I also didn't feel very safe out at night there as near nightclubs and strip joints.
Availability and price. The reception staff advising me of cheaper rates available to me and how to book for the cheaper rate next time. No TV in the bedrooms. The location is a bit further away from where I need to go during the day, than other accommodation I have stayed in, and do not feel as safe walking there at night as I do on North Tce
The daily servicing of the rooms and the quality of the job that was done. It is a major positive for the hotel
Convenience to the city, Great eating nearby, Nice shopping, North Adelaide has a nice atmosphere
Very nice hotel.
The room and facilities were fantastic! will come again!
Close to city and restaurants, free parking and nice courtyard. Rooms too small for four people and fridge door opens the wrong way making it hard to use.
Access to city, ambience and courtyard plus the room comfort and services. The staff were also very friendly and heipful. Thanks.
Space in the rooms and position to shops resturants The kitchen floor was dirty
I liked its position in Nth. Adelaide, proximity to the city, closeness to restaurants and cafes, botanical gardens sports venues etc. The apartments are spacious, and comfortable, and relatively quiet. The kitchen and bathroom need to be upgraded. The kitchen floor was dirty.
This is an ideal place for a visit to Adelaide, being within walking distance from the city and river, zoo and shopping, I would return there definitely when visiting Adelaide again.
I liked its situation in North Adelaide near the parks, the British around the corner and the shopping near by.Also not too far to pick up car from interstate train. No lift , had to carry heavy cases up stairs
close to where were going that Saturday night very small bathroom
Would have been good to have help with the luggage from the car to the room based on the price
The location was excellent. One receptionist in particular, Kim, was very helpful with directions and when my husband left his coat in a restaurant. Hotel on the edge of the 'red light' district and street was inclined to be noisy at night. Housekeeping in the room was erratic. Did not supply the plunge coffee on last night and reception was closed.
The apartment was very clean, and spacious. The satff were very friendly.
closeness to city centre Noise from the street below on Friday and Saturday nights. It would be lessened if the window from the street to the balcony was repaired
concrete walls for views-quite stiffling!
The apartment was well appointed, recently refurbished and in a convenient location in the heart of Adelaide. The room was dark and a little sterile.
