Close to the Acadia National Park entrance. L.L. Bean and factory outlets next door. Walk to restaurants and Maine Coast Mall. Don't forget to check out our special LDEAL rates. Hotel does have an elevator. Pet accommodation: 25.00 USD per night. Pet limit: 2 pets per room.
The hotel staff couldn't be nicer. The front desk people helped give us directions and let us know about events that were going on in town. The staff at breakfast was also great, greeting everyone as they came in and keeping everything stocked.
The refrigerator in our room was very noisy, keeping us up at night.
Convenient access to area attractions: Blue Hill, Acadia Nat'l Park, Schoonic Peninsula, etc.Friendly and efficient staff at reception, breakfast.
Bathroom small, basin separate off entrance.
The room was nice and clean. I got more than I expected. The staff was nice and welcoming.
The location was a little hard to find at first but once I figured it out it was good.
All staff from the breakfast room to the front desk to the cleaning staff were very friendly.
Close to mount desert island for hiking in Acadia park, schoodic peninsula, large room size
No pool for family with small children, small breakfast area which gets very crowded in the morning
Very friendly. Breakfast was great. Room was really nice.
Friendly staff. Accessibility to desired locations.
We were not given a good orientation to logging on to the internet which caused some confusion.
We were on the top floor making it quiet.
We stayed there for 2 nights during my visit of Acadia with my parents. The hotel is just located near some convenient stores/restaurants...The staff there is really nice. They could share with you a lot for your coming travel in Acadia. The room is clean and provides microwave and fridge there. They also offer good breakfast in the morning for free:)
The location was perfect for our visit to Acadia. The staff was very friendly. The room was nice and clean.
Pretty much liked it all
The staff was pleasant and very accommodating.
Lack of an elevator. I had a hip replacement 8 mos. ago and, since we were on the 2nd fl., an elevator would have been helpful. The nice young lady at the front desk offered to try to switch rooms to the 1st floor but our family had 3 adjoining rooms.
this was impromptu vacation and we found this hotel with comfortable star rating and with not so bad price and we booked it . we didn't have any experience with this hotel before and we didn't have any reviews from friends and families who may have lived at this hotel anywhere. we weren't disappointed.
Comfy, clean, and friendly, but need a little softer bed
We ( family of four) wanted to stay close to Bar Harbor but there was limited availabilty with higher rates. Ellsworth comfort inn on paper met most of our needs. Hotel was not cheap, but reasonable considering proximity to bar harbor / Acadia nat'l park. Hotel staff was friendly. The rooms were clean but slight smoke odor was evident in our non- smoking room. Room size as well as bathrooms were small. Breakfast was decent but not enough seating to accommodate the guests. Also there is no pool on site. You can drive qtr mile to ramada and use that hotel pool with you comfort inn access card.
first night was noisy .Kids from a tournament were banging on doors and left food all over the hall.Their parents should have stopped them. Not the hotels fault guests behaved badly. Next night was much better kids were gone. The People at the front desk were friendly and helpfulThe breakfast was good plenty of choices. The evening there were cookies and coffee nice touch .The room was clean and basic. The tub could have been cleaned better.
This was a great place to stay while visiting Acadia. Rooms are clean, comfortable. Ours had a microwave a refrigerator. Staff was absolutely wonderful, helpful and friendly; felt like I was visiting family. Breakfast was great - especially the waffles. Will definitely stay here again if in the area.
This is one of the dirtiest hotels I ever stayed at. The hall carpets were filthy and not even vacuumed. The room carpet had not been vacuumed in some time. The two story hotel also lacks an elevator. Dragging suitcases up dirty stairs and down dirty hallways is not my idea of fun.
room was very nice, very clean, quiet, good price, tried another motel in town (very unsatifactory) asked for refund-returned to Comfort Inn for a second night. '
