A very rustic setting. The staff where very friendly and helpful. For example, they organised a Kart and Donkey Ride for the Children with one of the estate workers which completely charmed our young children. The secluded swimming pool with adult pool and paddling pool interconnected with changing facilities was excellent. The apartments are spacious and seperated from main hotel. Perfect for families on a budget (but very rustic) as you still have the run of the 5 star hotel facilities which include country house type gardens. All in all, traditional Portuguese.
The account card (Maestro) we had didn't work (has worked everywhere except here).
Wonderful setting, grounds and furnishings. Very helpful staff and despite what other reviewers said, easy to find and the access road is in good condition(we were on a sports motorbike). Food good if a little pricey. All in all fantastic value.
We slept in Quinta de Santo Antonio because there wer very few clients. It is a beautiful hotel.
In my opinion, the look is too luxurious for a country hotel.
Totally relaxing, a most wonderful hotel.
Excellent facilities, neither my wife nor I have anything to complain about.
The road leading to the hotel was awful.I understand that it will be tarmacadamed in a few months.
