the lack of pride in the propertyThe pool area had a foul smell. There was an empty flower bed by the hot tub that smelled and was full of stagnent water. This place needs a total face lift. I probably will never use Priceline or any online travel company again because when I wanted to go to another hotel they told me I wold still be responsible for the 10 day cost.
Staff attitude, shower didn't drain you stood in your dirty water, and the seal on the front door had a large gap letting insects and rodents in the room.Stay at the best western next door this place is groose. The shower didn't drain fast at all the room was stinky and the staff was small and spread out.
A really cheap price and on the same street as the Emporia Civic Auditorium. The heater in the room warmed the room up nicely, but it did not have an auto set. So after a while you would just have to turn it off because it got too warm.
The pool was kept at 60degrees! Too cold to even get in it. A waste, since I had a child who couldn't even get in it.This is just a basic motel if you only need a place to sleep and a small breakfast the next day. The pool was frigid, we couldn't even get in it. Another traveling companion asked the staff to warm it up, 2hrs later nothing had changed. I was not able to make coffee or use my curling iron the next day. The outlet by the sink vanity did not work. Pushing the test/reset button on the outlet did nothing. I told the staff and all she could say was, 'I'm sorry. I will have to have an electrician look at that later.' We got the hotel for a very low price and it was close to an event we needed to be at the ...
