With a stay at Café Frida & Fridas Hotel in Bredstedt, you'll be a 3-minute walk from Church of St. Nicholas and 5 minutes by foot from Naturzentrum. Featured amenities include luggage storage and coffee/tea in a common area. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: The stay at hotel Frida was marvellous. The staff is brilliant and more than friendly. Food, i.e. breakfast, is more than adequate for a small and family-led town hotel. Atmosphere is great and cosy. Our bathroom was very spacious, and the room at the back of the house was very quiet. Truly recommendable for a stay in Nordfriesland.
Pros: Very nice boutique hotel, very nice staff. Excellent breakfast
Pros: Friendly, flexible and efficient service. The hotel is right on the main square about 5 minutes walk from the station. Room was a good size and quiet in the afternoon & evening. Proprietor was very helpful when it came to advice about how to spend a grey January evening in Bredstedt and really went the extra mile when I needed to extend my stay at short notice due to a flight cancellation. Unfortunately I did not get to try the attached café, as my stay coincided with the Monday/Tuesday rest days, but it seemed to be a popular place with the locals for some afternoon Kaffee und Kuchen when I arrived on the Sunday.
Pros: We got here late in the day, around 7 PM, later than we had said we would be. The door was locked and my heart sank but I knocked and a lady named Peeve answered and showed us to our room. The next morning we were delighted with the variety and quantity, to say nothing of the deliciousness, of the breakfast buffet. Elke was wonderfully accommodating, recommending a local institute down the street for our genealogical research-this was the reason we had come to Bredstedt in the first place. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.
Cons: We loved it all.
Pros: Perfect overall
Cons: T was perfect
With a stay at Eichhorns Hotel-Restaurant in Risum-Lindholm, you'll be 9.3 mi (15 km) from Wadden Sea and 10.4 mi (16.8 km) from Schleswig-Holstein Wadden Sea National Park. The front desk is staffed during limited hours. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: The staff was polite. We decided at the very last moment to go there and they waited for us even if it was late in the night.
Cons: It was fresh painted. But the smell went immediately away
Pros: Very nice staff, design of the rooms, bathroom, fairtrade cosmetics
Cons: Our room faced the highway and it was very loud even with the windows closed. Although we reserved a quiet room which the hotel confirmed, we didn’t get one. There was no AC in the room. So one had to open the windows to get some fresh air.
Pros: We had a room in the main building that seemed newly renovated. Spotlessly clean, spacious room with seating area and bathroom with roomy shower cabin. Working area desk and bedside tables all with power outlets at the level of the top surface, so no need to dive down to find sockets for laptop and smartphone chargers. Excellent beds, bedlinen and fluffy towels. Full height mirror. Staff eager to please. We had a pike-perch accompanied with an innovative red beet mashed potato side. Good selection of wines by the glass. Very good breakfast with notably excellent smoked salmon to go with the scrambled eggs.
Cons: The only thing missing is an elevator.
Pros: Friendly staf
Cons: Pubic hair on the toilett
Pros: Breakfast was superb
Cons: There is some unexpected traffic noise in the back due to a street that serves as a shortcut to the gas station and McDonalds.

Pros: The peaceful location and surrounding walks
Pros: Old guesthouse but renovated and feels very modern in the room. Comfortable beds, big bathroom. Good breakfast. Everything was really good for one night stay on the route from Denmark to Germany.
Pros: Overall very very good!
Pros: Our room was in a fairly new annexe at the end of the large carpark away from the road so in theory should have been quieter than staying in the main hotel. The room itself was huge with a really comfortable bed and excellent bathroom. Breakfast was adequate. However there was a lot not to like and also beware that there is no kettle in the rooms or any facility in the annexe or Hotel to make a hot drink.
Cons: We arrived at reception with our heavy suitcases to be greeted by a really rude lady who gave us brief instructions that our room was in the annexe at the other end of the carpark, here is the key, we will tell you where breakfast is in the morning and off you go. We asked if we could have a meal in the restaurant to be told it was fully booked but if we came back at 8 we could sit in the reception area and have our meal! We returned at 8 to be told we could sit in the restaurant where we found many tables empty! So you are welcome to eat in their restaurant providing you are not staying there. The food was ok but the same rude lady served us and was no help at all when we were struggling with the menu in German, preferring to talk to other guests. It therefore took longer to get the meal than was necessary. When we ordered another drink she forgot our order only to come back much later with the drink. When we went to the main hotel for breakfast we could not find anyone to ask re the location of the breakfast room so had to explore the ground floor to find it. Breakfast was overseen by an equally abrupt man also not overly keen on English. On Friday evening we got back to the Hotel to find a wedding party in residence and we were once again told that they were full in the restaurant. We were not advised of this party prior to our stay. The soundproofing in the rooms was not good as we could hear next doors TV, people walking up the corridor in the early hours and a lorry delivering something at 7am in the morning with a lot of door banging.
Pros: Very fine gasthof in the countryside.
Pros: Lovely spacious and clean room. Tasty fresh breakfast.
Pros: Spacious rooms
Pros: Cleanest hotel I have stayed at. Superb beds. Excellent german cooking in restaurant and a wonderfull set breakfast. Worth the few extra km drive.
Cons: Nothing, honestly. I slept better than i do at home!
Pros: Wonderful rooms (in the annex), brand new, modern and comfortable. Private terrace. Spacious and well equipped bathrooms. We had dinner. A very pleasant experience. The standard very high. Also the breakfast was lovely. Gardenterrace annexed to the restaurant. We had dinner and breakfast there. The staff was very accomodating. Highly recommendable. We will definately come back.

Pros: The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good. The room was spacious and clean.

Pros: Like student accommodation, streamlined, serviceable, basic but comfortable. We had a ground floor room with little courtyard and lounge chair. Only window was in the bathroom so lack of fresh air was an issue. Nice grounds. Good shower. Wifi good and suitable parking. Did not have b’fast. Travelling through did not realise it was a religious base venue. Lots of bells.
Cons: Lack of windows, no kettle, horrible pillows
Cons: The Separation between the building has a problem sometimes when you have to walk for breakfast and you have a bad leg but all the rest was just nice
Pros: Rooms are setup for self catering, had I known id of brought the tea bags :-) But great to have self catering as an option. Rooms are large and comfortable / relaxing.
Cons: ( NOTHING ) IT WAS ALL THERE IN A PACKAGE. NOTHING TO SAY THAT IS NEGATIVE. THE WEEKEND WAS ENJOYABLE.
Pros: Breakfast is very nice. The layout of the room is good.
Cons: The bed is too narrow. The location is far from the town.
Pros: New Buildings in a hundrerd year old christian retreat/conference center area. Quite remote from sights or museums, close to the highway. Fine service, new rooms and good breakfast. Perfect for a one night stop en route to somewhere else!
Pros: We stayed in the main building - its a light, airy environment. Good breakfast. Large room.
Cons: No WiFi coverage in our room
