Pros: The cleanliness of the hotel.
Cons: Traffic noise. No shops nearby.
Pros: i don't know because i booked at this hotel , but i did not sleep there . And i will never book there again
Cons: I was arriving at the hotel at 20:30 after a long(12h)day of work. I was welcomed by the owner and started to check me in. He immediately made the bill on company name and I had to pay upfront. This was strange to me (I travel a lot for work), but ok I didn’t mind. After I paid he gave me the address of the place I was staying? It was a second house of them a little bit down the street, not far maybe almost 4 km. I said I wanted to eat in their restaurant because it was getting late and I was tired. He said at the other location they also have a restaurant and I could eat there. I didn’t like I had to drive to another location but all I wanted was to eat and go to bed. So I went to the other location(10 km and 20 min) because it was not down the road.. at arrival it was a total different hotel(hotel smith??). so I checked in , got my key and noticed the restaurant was closed. So I asked the person who checked me in and he said oh the other guy knew the restaurant was closed. I tried to call the other hotel owner what the meaning was of all this: I did not book at hotel smidt, I had to park my car at a busy street (not a privat parking), no restaurant, no biergarten, not at all what I thought I had booked. first I got a lady on the phone, who spoke badly German and said I had to call back in 5 min. so I called back: she said the owner was not there anymore and I had to call back after 2 weeks?? In the end of my complain phone call I left my phone number and told her that I expected the owner to call my back. And he did.. so I asked why I had to sleep in another hotel with a closed restaurant and no private parking place. The only thing he said he was sorry because he gave my booked room to another guest wo wanted to stay a day longer. He did not call me upfront if I was ok with that and even didn’t tell me before me made me pay. He could only tell me that the other hotel was better than his and he was sorry but I had to understand him..
Cons: Someone must have peed in the bed before. They put an extra blanket, but it was still moist...disgusting!

Pros: Very friendly staff, solid bed, out of town and away from noise, breakfast small but fine, very nice food for dinner and a wide variety!
Cons: WiFi didn’t work at first until we requested the modem be reset, worked fine downstairs but in the bedroom I couldn’t keep signal connected.
Pros: The restaurant had a large card with good dishes. The bed was comfortable Good shower
Cons: The wifi was slow and sometimes not available
Pros: From the moment i checked in to the moment I checked out, including dinner service and breakfast, everything was amazing ! And at a bargain price, the service here beats any expensive hotel in the area

Pros: Nice room, comfy bed, clean bathroom. Very good price in an expensive city. I didn’t realise the check-n was 17.30 to 22.00 which would’ve made my visit very difficult. Thanks to the proprietor for opening up about 15.00 to let me in.
Cons: The location is lovely but tricky to get to. Google sent me on 2 UBahn trains and a 27 stop bus ride. Instead, look out for a train station 1 km down the road which has an hourly service to the centre. Worth waiting for.

Cons: Not really a "don't like" but with the heat and long summers currently being experienced in Germany, an conditioned rooms wouldn't go a miss.
Cons: Building is Next to highway, loud when window is open There is no air conditioning or central temperature control in the room, if the weather is cool then there is no problem. But I can’t imagine staying in a room like this in hot weather. Especially in the night if you keep the window open you can hear the traffic

Pros: The staff was friendly, need little bit more care, for room organization... All other things were fine

Pros: The facilities are comfortable and the staff very friendly and helpful. The hotel is well situated for access to the town centre and a wide range of restaurants.
Cons: Access to hotel parking was, on this occasion, less than convenient for our frequent coming and going. The staff were always helpful but not all seemed to understand the barrier system or how to issue passes for the adjacent under cover garage. However, it looks as if additional parking is under construction.
Cons: Room smelled smoke, very loud noise from outside, bad ventilation, no info about either breakfast or things to maybe see around, no info about restaurants. Too pricy for poor hospitality

Cons: Very nice place, good local cuisine, reasonable pricing..
Pros: Excellent atmosphere in the hotel, a friendly and hospitable staff. Breakfast is fine - fresh and tasty. The hotel restaurant is a CHAMPIONSHIP of cuisine. Beautiful view of the valley and the river. A very positive experience.
Pros: Although there is nothing on the menu for kids, they offered a small choice, which also turned out to be cheap in the end.
Cons: The food on the menu is quite pricey and could have been better and prepared with more care. Rooms are pretty warm, even with heating turned down and windows open.
Pros: Very nice place, 10-15 minutes transit from Wetter Bahnhof and 20 minutes to Hagen train station. A very silent place with truly authentic german hospitality. Nice restaurant with an open terrace.
Cons: Bit more fresh vegetables on breakfast would be nice.
Pros: Wonderful location with a stunning view over the valley and the river. It was like being in a fairy tale of Gebrüder Grimm. Top building looking like a castle with elegant details in the furniture. Comfortable bed with a thick warm duvet. The bathroom had a powerful modern shower and ... surprise!... a bidet! Excellent evening meal and very rich, tasty breakfast with a gourmet bread and red fruit jelly. The personnel is friendly and helpful. A wonderful experience of all the senses!
Pros: Great location & views from the room. Specific medieval like atmosphere. Clean and quiet hotel.
Cons: In desperate need of renewal. No check in after 10 pm. Not much to do at night. No bar or any other area where you could sit at night.
Pros: Lovely and charming property with comfy rooms and amazing view. We actually saw a double rainbow from our window which is the brightest I have ever seen. My daughter was not feeling well and the staff was very helpful to direct us to the local apothecary. The restaurant also was kind to let me take our meal to our room.

Pros: Hôtel itself is very nice..
Cons: The room was cold and heating didn't work. I asked reception which agreed to check heating. After returning around midnight nothing was changed. Room without working heating. I was with a child and it was a cold day so obviously despite all the good of this hotel this is a no-go.
Pros: Old-fashioned look and very comfortable
Cons: The shower was really small
Pros: The room was in very good condition. Always clean, bed sheets changed and towels changed everyday.
Cons: Didn’t like where the room was. It was too far at the back.
Pros: nice people good Breakfast
Pros: The bed was comfortable. Beyond that - there was very little to like.
Cons: The WiFi was literally unusable (see images). No telekom signal and no Wifi. The "breakfast" was horrific! Insulting to think that it was chargeable (see images). Eggs... empty. Orange juice... empty. Cheese/cold meats... empty... Pancakes... stale, dry and inedible. The noise levels were astonishing. The design of the doors (old lock and key) contribute to a cacophony of sound that
