A hotel that was centrally placed with easy access to the Motorway for day trips to various parts of the island> It was quite and relaxing and the facilities were good No tea making facilities in the bedroom
The hotel is a luxury place for vacation - Green oasis with indoor and out door pools, but most enjoyable is of course closeness of the sea. We had a room with sea-view, and this added additional good impressions. Rooms with Sea-view are a little bit more costly, but value of money is right. Breakfast is with many options, variety is rather good. I would prefer to have some fish for the breakfesr, instead of meat;
Good location, nice breakfast We were expecting to be given a bigger room, as we booked a Deluxe double room. We were unable to see a proper description of the room we chose on the website. We thought for example that the room should have at least a kettle, since we were traveling with a baby.
The customer service by the staff, the hotel location, the restaurants and the breakfast! The indoor pool was really cold and the cleanliness of the room (bathroom) could be better
coktails, nice pool, facilities, view, The deck-chairs were at our disposal only until 18:00
I liked the fact that the hotel was next to the sea and also had a nice swimming pool so you could relax and spend the whole day there. I also liked that the hotel was clean and neat, and the staff was helpful and kind. The only thing i didn't like was the bath-tub which was a bid small
The room was not enough to say 3 beds rooms. Receptionist's action was slow.
clean, peaceful, nice beach
Wunderful Garden Noisy backside rooms
Clean hotel with good breakfast 1. Cleaning people opened the door without knoking. 2. The lobi people didn't know the city and the erea and couldn't or didn't want to help. 3.During the booking we been promised mounten view but we got highway view.
location and beach facilities room service time is till 11 pm only
The location Toowels are not hygenic, I felt uncomfortable to use them to dry my body, (not clean enough). They were rough and smelly
The rooms need renovation for a 5 star hotel
the hotel has been recently renovated in all key areas such as new completely renovated rooms& bathrooms, renovated reception, lobby etc, and also has a very good and value for money Japanese restaurant. its a very good hotel for a summer get away but only if the price is right! don't pay too much for it as it will disappoint you! its NOT a luxury hotel. THE STAFF IS RUDE: As we arrived at the hotel to check in at 12 o'clock (mid-day) we have been informed at the reception that the room will not be ready before 2pm, instead of offering us a drink or at the bar or recommending us what to do until then, as is the case in hotels like the Four Seasons next door... the receptionist just said that we can do anything we like until then.... so around 12:30 we visited akakiko to have an early lunch as we had to wait, we entered the restaurant as it seemed open and no one was there even though the doors were open and there was also an offer in the entrance for a 3 course meal. when we realized that something was wrong, we asked at the reception if its closed and if so why is there an offer on the entrance and an open door, and the response we received was" we are closed just for today so we just left it as t is''.
friendly staff, nice rooms + very close to the tourist area dining hall is awfull and the service is poor. not enough sunbeds on the beach + the beach is very small
Amazing seaview from our room, great location, perfectly clean, staff could be better, a bit unexperienced, excellent breakfast. We took half board and had lunch outdoors, under the umbrellas, beautiful place and great food. Matresses and carpets could use some updating, staff could also use a little training.
The food was very good and the staff pleasant and efficient.
Staff were very helpful and responsive to minor problems that we experienced. Food was good and varied.
the private beach
the location to the cafes and stuff
The outside area is very pleasant although the beach could be cleaner. The staff were not consistent, some were excellent, others could barely speak English and had no understanding of basic service requirements. A particularly annoying occurrence was the fact that certain people reserved sunbeds in the middle of the night so even at 7am there were hardly any left. I went down early to swim on two occasions and we even spotted a pool attendant putting out towels on behalf of someone else before towels were available. Sad but true!
Location and garden The rooms need urgently refurbishment
I like very mutch the hotel facilities, hotel spa services, the comfortable room and the hotel bar.
The cleaners in the morning are making too much noise
I was impressed by the competence of staff. The food also was impressively tasty. The beach is also very nice. Everything was fine!
The staff ,the rooms and the position Itwas used for corporate and private functions which sqeezed us out of the hotel 'sl ounges etc. eg 450 accountants one night. The meals were expensive if you were on a bed and breakfast tariff, there were no no smoking public areas
the room is good and it was clean. the hotel stuff is not really friendly. I has an impression that the stuff is struggaling with the client's requests. The internet access cost 10 euros and apparently it can be used for 48 hours. however as soon as you log off you lost your credit. The fresh drinks were not really good quality and clearly overpriced. Overall, i can say that hotel service is bad.
The food was excellant and the staff very helpful. The bar area was comfortable and I enjoyed a few happy hours. The swimming pools were good for swimming lengths and the areas were kept very clean. In fact I enjoyed my stay immensely. When I needed to chill out in my room or have an early night due to being on business, there was no english TV programs to watch only a BBC24 hour news program.
location, near historic site. wonderful breakfast, no charge for the kid. free wifi in all hotel rooms now the mattress of the sofa bed for the kid is uncomfortbal, you can feel the springs inside.
the general goodwill of the staff perhaps a little more general touristic knowledge of the front office and of the some of the taxis present
beach and lobby. service was good and food was ok. expensive though. Indoor pool which was disaster, water was not heated so very cold. The same goes for jaccuzi - cold water, I got seek after using it. Also, gym, very cold, nothing was heated - not appropriate for 5 star hotel.
The big territory of hotel, free improving procedures Double writing off of means from a bank card, reservation loss, indifference to problems arising at settling
The hotel does not provide services expected of a five-star hotel. It is more of a four-star hotel. The receptionists were excellent in their help and went out of their way to help. The food offered in the restaurants and room service were quite good and varied. The beach and swimming pool were good. - The house keeping was not up to the standards of a five- star hotel. - There was no hotel shuttle or free transportation to the airport as some five star- hotels have - No wireless room connections which made use of internet in the room a bit of a problem.
The hotel reception staff were rude. bed in room was very uncomfi
Great location directly at the sandy beach, on the long seaside way of Limassol City. The off-seaside rooms are nearby the street and motorroute, so there is constant background traffic noise.
The location Old furniture, staff enter the room when we were there
Breakfast was enjoyable with a variety of food in a place surrounded by green. You can enjoy swimming in pools or a sandy beach in an environment full of trees. A guest room was fine. Lobby staff was not so friendly, but other members were very kind and friendly. Far from Larnaka airport and not close to the city.
Facilities and breakfast were excellent. Hotel management seems to be done on a poor level. They lost the booking made through booking.com, though charged the card in advance (on the day of booking), and said that we are very lucky that they have a free room on the day of check-in. They were not likely to solve client's problems at all. Unmanagable reception service — this is what they have.
rooms were clean and staff was helpfull and polite equipment is old and the hotel in general needs renovation
selection from room service menu wasn't that great.
The pool and beachside location were fabulous. Price
garden and food was excellent The sea was not clean. Air conditioner was not enough strong. Too many people in the hotel. Very loudly on Friday and Saturday evening from people who have spent a time on the beach near the hotel territory.
good access to the beach
Helpfull staff. The cleanliness of the hotel is unacceptable for a 5 star hotel. The carpets look as if they havent been changed in the last 10 years. The furniture in the room looks damaged as do parts of the wall and the carpets inside the room as well. It definitely does not worth 160 euros per night!!
Very polite staff
very friendly personnel, excellent management, laundry service very cheap, close to the beach, nice view. no [good enough] mobile phone coverage, nor in the rooms or inside the hotel; this was extremely annoying. For a one sentence communication we had to run around searching for happy corners with coverage and make 10 phone calls. Use of internet over mobile phones again impossible.
beach lack of a nice bar
Atmosphere The mediocre quality of the juice at breakfast
The Service was excellent. nice pool and sea beach. It was the best "small" hotel I have ever been They charged us for coffee inside of our room
Their professionalism, service, basically everything.
Excellent hotel. The staff was very helpful. Good location. Great for staying when on business in Cyprus
everything was perfect ....clean, location.the best hotel i stay ever.
Beautiful room with excellent facilities.
Room cleanliness outstanding; lunchtime / snack food very good; quiet in the hotel and by the pool but in the centre of the tourist area and easy to walk to restaurants & shops; good gym Caprice restaurant over-rated (ate there twice, both meals OK but not a "destination" restaurant); breakfasts disappointing
The deco and the relaxed atmosphere
It is smart, modern, the staff are excellent, the food is good and it is quiet. Clearly, as it is more expensive and not aimed at the mass holiday market then you don't get that type of client. Which is good. No.
Friendliness of personnel, comfort, fast resolution of issues and all the little details which have permanently taken care of. none
Location, hotel people and breakfast in the balcony.
Location to the business sector and the entertainment areas was ideal whilst the same time being able to relax after meetings. Coming out of the car park needed some concentration especially the one on the left as you look at the hotel from the road. This was especially true as parking was not controlled outside the hotel. Where was Security throughout my stay?
Pool area. Location. Poor service levels among staff. Ingnored by frontdesk. No laundry service available.
Very nice service and friendly approach by the staff. Very helpful and understanding to our needs
Only had a one night stay and choose it due to its proximity to the Wine Festival location
Location, price was reasonable Didn't find the staff or management very professional
good location, near downtown, good tennis court, rich breakfast, quiet and relaxing atmosphere The hotel still needs more rennovation. The ceiling of the rooms are old fashion, out of design and do not match with the rest of the room decoration. Installation of false ceilings may do the job.
Good facilities and breakfast
The surroundings and public facilities were very good and the hotel is situated in a good position for Limassol centre. I did not think the rooms were particularly nice and having booked a double room, was disappointed to have been given a twin room on arrival, although the staff did rectify this when we complained.
service level and kindness of staff was very good, and the facilities of the swimming pool and beach are good as well. food (breakfast) can be better.
Ease of covienasnce to the city centre Meals were adequate, the dinning room and bar lacked ambiance
Close proximity to the beach, the beachside catering and the friendly and attentive staff Key cards not working properly
Pool and beach are very good very old for a 5 star hotel with poor maintenance
Larnaca does not have any business hotel, and after several other trials, this hotel turned the best of the league of resorts in term of comfort. Room is large, bed is comfortable. And time permitting, pool is very nice and the sea clean and warm for a nice early morning swim. Breakfast, included, is large and varied but very industrial and tastes nothing. Next time I shall bring my own honey. Fruit juice is diluted concentrate from a machine. Although the room was renovated, this remains a basic sea resort so do not expect for something cozy.
My workshop was in the same hotel
Near Beach. Do not think it should be 5star, not comparable with other 5 star hotels.
The size of the hotel was big and the room also very spacious! Some of the personel was very friendly and try to be helpful. Breakfast also good, not great! The porters never helped with suitcases! The most peronel are foreigners speaking differnet languages making it impossible to comunicate. Cleanningnes was not good, and anything had to do with food In the room, at the pool or at the restaurant not good at all! Finaly I got sick and they didnt have one pill for the fever or the stomach pain..
rooms are not as modern as expected
Staff were very helpful especially since my booking was lost and they had to find me a room at 5 A.M. when I arrived and was suffering a sense of humour failure, nfortunately the reversing truck alarms at 7.30 A.M. didn't help my frame of mind. Hotel is generally "tired", carpeting to the rooms was very dirty, and some time since the rooms were refurbished.
Excellent service and very high quality of food. The only problem of this hotel is location: extremely far from all. That's an excellent hotel but if you don't have a car or a motorbike, be aware that you have to wait for a taxi (outside the hotel is nobody's land).
Beach, jet ski, friendly and helpful personnel Bathroom very old and not maintained, light of letters of the hotel name were broken; in general this hotel does not suit a 5 star (have seen lot of hotels)
Excellent location for a business traveler and maybe even for tourists although it is not by the sea. The location is quiet yet in the city centre with banks, pharmacies and convenience stores just right outside of the hotel. I really liked the lobby and the bar. I stayed just for a night so I did not have the chance to dine there but the breakfast selection was more than enough. Design-wise the hotel has been recently renovated, especially the lobby and the corridors. The rooms however are still left with old furniture, bed covers and curtains that show the actual age of the hotel.
Excellent breakfast, one charming and helpful receptionist, good price. Publicity claims that hotel is "at the heart of Limassol", that it is 500metres from the centre. This is false. It is not even on the map of the town centre, but on the reverse side which includes the suburbs: it took me 30 minutes to walk briskly from the centre. One receptionist told me the last bus was at 17.00: this was also untrue as we found the coast road bus, ten minutes away, ran till much later.
Top class service, complimentary fruit on arrival. An excellent hotel at a very reasonable price. The swimming pool was wonderful and our evening on the terrace listening to music was a lovely end to the day. Very good breakfast, all in all, a very good experience and would highly recommend
Low key and not full of Pommie yobbo's Although the lobby had been updated the rooms were not of the same standard. The rooms were very dated and tired and would be more suited by being described as motel style accomodation.
Easy access and excellent reception,
I booked this hotel for a business stay and chose it reading "Wired internet is available in the entire hotel" in a hotel's presentation. I am very displeased to say that in my room there was no mode to have an access to internet and after my complain to manager on duty I was answered: "there is no other room with internet to change. you can complain if you want..."
Especially the attitude of the staff, the people working at the front desk, remembered our names and never failed to greet us. As far as the Ajax, we had some trouble with the computer in our room, and, in the room that we changed after that, there was a problem with the toilet flushing--which I would not necessarily blame on the hotel itself, as they were quick to respond to our complaints.
The overnight front desk employee is very professional No iron in the room you need to go to the 3rd floor to iron a shirt. Other than the overnight front desk gentleman the staff that we had contact with were very rude. We called to ask about the iron they told us we can complain online like they don't care.
The staff - especially Aliz - was very helpful and friendly. Full marks for that. We also had a great view over the town at sunset from our balcony. Good breakfast. I did not expect to have a plastic lining under my sheet when staying at a four star hotel. It felt a bit cheap. Location was not brilliant - it was not on the beach, not in the centre and not in the tourist area. Would be good for someone who does not mind taking taxis though
Friendliness of staff. The hotel was in a good position, quiet but with easy access to the main road leading to the Old Town. No
The parking lot - The location - The view - The weak Wifi signal (in the loby only) - Being given key no 607 instead of 608 ... - Being charged 18 pounds for sombody elses dinner
Beautiful location an oasis in Cyprus, we were a family with a 1 year old and a 4 year old and everything we needed and more could be found there. We will be going back. The "Fine Dining" restaurant was disappointing, my husband and I went out for a dinner alone one evening and found the food quite ordinary, but priced for a top restaurant. The Creme brulee was larger than the main. We decided to eat in the Apollo restaurant after this.
Beautiful complex and surroundings There were ants in the room, wireless internet barely worked and the housekeeping staff was somewhat unprofessional
It was an absolutely lovely, secluded ,height of luxury hotel Nothing
Honnestly this is by far the very best hotel in Cyprus. For once you really get luxury by international standards which is seldom there. Everything was absolutely perfect. The location is truly amazing and super relaxing. I will definitely come back there. Just a small detail: very low internet connection and not all sites accessible (couldn't connect on Faceboook to share this place with friends... sad for them)
A relaxing atmosphere. Staff attentive without being intrusive. Spa area was absolutley beautiful. The infinity pool is breath taking and my friend who was staying with me is going to arrange her daughters wedding here. They lovely chapel on site is gorgeous.
The view was amazing and the food at the resturant was very good.
Very nice resort, well maintained, good food, very good service. No on demand system .
We liked the relaxed atmosphere of the hotel & attention to the smallest detail. Its one of the best hotels we have stayed in worldwide. There was nothing we didnt like about our stay.
Everything! Fantastic hotel. No
it was very nice and clean no everything was perfect
location ideal base for exploring area not enough toilets near to pools/bars etc
The excellent daily continental breakfast and selection of food items no.
In our one night stay we were impressed by the professionalism of the staff and the quality of the breakfast. Surroundings and garden areas in very good order and well maintained. N/A
The staff was very helpful and gentle. Every room has to have its own ambrella booked for all days.
facilities, breakfast was excellent, beach was quite nice cleaning start at 8 am... breakfast ended sharply 10 am, these days are building activities next to the hotel - noisy
I Work and Travel around the Globe. Doing this I expierenced many Hotels. The Lordes Beach Hotel has a wonder Clean establishment on the Beach. It it close enough to Larnaca for shopping and nsight seeing. It is a thirty minute drive to Iaya Nappa (SP) for a perfect Day Trip. The Staff understands the Hotel Gusets and are very Friendly. Great Hotel! The Cleanliness, The Staff, The Hotel Cocktail Bar/Lounge with entertainment. I cannot say enough about how Great the Staff treated me.
I think if you have small kids and don't want to leave the pool area, the place is ideal. There were decent restaurants within walking distance. The child's playground area looked nice. I found the beach in the area was not so nice, and not as good as the one in Ayia Napa, which is not convenient to get to by bus. Renting a car may have helped. I would have liked nightlife options in the area.
room tidy although cramped with 3rd bed but as it was free of charge very good value, facilities good, pools good, the staff were attentive drinks and food were extremely expensive is the only minus point, sun loungers always taken by 7am and guests would not use them till 10 or 11am sometimes later, which seems to be the case in all hotels, although the last hotel we stayed at in Lanzarote staff would remove towels from sun longers early in the mornings if the guests did not use immediately. another english tv channel would be useful
Everything was ok Not really
I really liked staying in this hotel. I liked the atmosphere, its location and its beach. Our mini lux was very good for our honeymoon
The availability of the staff I was satisfied of the service
near to airport inferior bathroom, breakfast poor: perhaps this reflects the price.
service was excellent
Everything was clean. The receptionist should try to offer day trip offers and also where would a good place be to eat or to visit. The breakfast could use some more options.
Very helpful staff at reception. Good cable TV selection. Wi-fi connected in room, but better in lobby or on balcony. Close to airport with good bus connection. Nice Pool. Good Value overall. Very basic breakfast with boiled eggs, toast, juice and coffee/tea. About 20-30 minute walk to town where there are the most shops, restaurants, bars.
The location is good, the Staff was ok,equipment of the room is completely suitable for a 2 star hotel. The breakfast was very, very poor. It would have been nice minimum a few fruits or vegetables. But nothing. There isn't refrigerator in the room and that would be necessary in this area..
non easy to find and not well sign posted from main road
Good value for the price.
nothing exept it was close to the airport never come again to this dirty hotel
With a perfect location by the lanarca international airport, the hotel incredibily offered the most vast room and furniture equipment I had in my tour of multiple cyprus hotels with 4 stars
No hot water from 11pm to 6am when checked out
Convenient for the airport. Swimming pool looked very attractive. Breakfast was adequate. There was a lot of noise outside the hotel during the night.
The sea access Breakfast. Small beds, not a 4 star quality.
we enjoy the seaview. the room are big and clean. the bed is confortable. swimming pools are good (20-25 meters ) but very hot up to 35°C some days. the hotel was full, however we didn't see a lot of people and the hotel is very quite. the breafast was very poor if you do not want american beakfast (no fresh fruit, no taste, no water, no cofee (only instant coffee nespresso). the hotel try to save water so no pressure for shower and toilet. the hotel is 11km from Limassol. you'd rather rent a car. there's a lot of animations like in club hotel (water gym in the swimming pool, ...)
quite good 4 star hotel with very good breakfast and very good rooms in general Definitely WiFi is bad in the rooms, there is a cupboard on entrance to room which was open and one could see drain pipes etc!
Excellent staff Shelves inside the cabinet were dusty, furniture wasn't ideal.
Beautiful hotel and beach, really lovely. Loved cocktails on the terrace and breakfast outside. All food was of a good standard. Particularly enjoyed the water and juice supplied in our room. Really a great hotel. I need big mugs of strong coffee in the morning - the machines dealing out tiny cups of watered-down coffee that tasted half of hot chocolate really didn't do it for me. A hotel of this high quality ought to be serving decent filter coffee at breakfast. Also the background music in the lounge bars was 'canned' and tinny in the evening; we might have spent longer there otherwise.
