Excellent service and excellent room confort Nothing
Stay was wonderful Had a little trouble locating the hotel..asked 3 locals for directions and all were poor.
The location was perfect for us. Only 40 min. to the city via the s-bhan, yet only 15 min to the air port. Our only problem wit the hotel was that they allowed smoking in the lounge. We were not comfortable with that. So we were forced to sit in the reception area to have a drink. The staff was accomidating, but I was still surprised at the scoff of the new smoking ban. To be fair it was not only the hotel. We found other place that were also breaking this new smoking ban.
Very nice hotel, recently refurbished and in a 'scenic' location on a typical Bavarian market square. Very friendly staff, spacious rooms and an excellent restaurant serving excellent local fare. Minibar stocks only water (still / sparkling) and beer (including non- alcoholic). There are no sweets or snacks. There could also be a bit more kit in the wardrobe (such as shoe horn or clothbrush).
The room was very comfortable and very clean with all necessary things. The restaurant of the hotel was perfect with delicious bavarian kitchen and good prices.very close to the airport (15 min.). The breakfast was good with the possibility to order fresh and warm omelets or fried eggs.very recomandet hotel. It was far away from the town 45 min.) but close to the airport.
The people were great and the room was large, new, and comfortable.
The location in a small town center and the fact of being an old brewery can't think of anything
We only spent one night in our 3 single rooms before our return to the US. The hotel is conveninet to the Munich airport, in the small, quaint town of Erding. It is adjacent to the Erlanger Brewery headquarters, and houses the brewery's restaurant - although the brewery itself is a few kms away. The rooms are totally modern, but still quaint and inviting. The restaurant had great food, great beers (of course), and the prices were reasonable. Breakfast was also very good including eggs to order, smoked salmon, etc, - and worth the 12 euro they charge for it. The only negative was the lighting. Nothing goes on until you insert your electronic key in the master switch. Although the arrangement saves electricity, as the lights go off after the key is removed, our rooms were too dark for reading unless you were in the bathroom.
Quality hotel with German style - which is just what we wanted. The food in the restaurant was very good too.
friendliness of staff and warm atmosphere
friendly staff on arival, good central location, staff recomended and booked local resturant upon our information, which was fantastic
The staff is absolutely lovely; exteremyl friendly, which made my stay very special The rooms are very clean; the style is a bit old-fashioned
the rooms are a little bit smaler for 4 stars
The hotel was nice and clean. the staff very polite and attentive. Erding is a small town very charming. Everything was OK"
Erding is a great little town with a well known brewery. The brauhaus has great traditional german food. Almost everything in town is an easy walk from the hotel. Hotel is also 10 KM from Munich Airport, so we stay there when flying from Munich. A little on the expensive side and has no parking. You have to park at the train station parking lot down the street a short distance.
Well appointed large rooms, fast, free wi-fi, in-room safe, mini bar and flat screen TV. (Smoking and non-smoking rooms available) Good location five minutes walk from town centre and one minute walk to railway station but still very quiet. Plenty of bars and restaurants within walking distance. About 15 minutes drive to the airport which could be a drawback for some but fine if you have transport. In-hotel restaurant open in the evening from 6.30pm ~ also hotel bar. Varied choices for breakfast both hot and cold items. All-in-all a great choice.
Hotel was clean and tidy and rooms comfortable and we would recommend to others. Some of the staff require customer focus training but this is not a complaint just an observation as we will be coming back on a regular basis.
While Erding the city is on the outskirts of Munich, you can stay here and take the train into the city. I stayed here because I wanted a relax atmosphere away from the city. While it is near the airport, the hotel shuttle does not run on Sat and Sun. You can take a bus for 5 euros one way and takes about 20-30 minutes. There is a huge spa called Therme Erding in the city. You can take a 10 minute bus ride there as well.
The room was very nicely appointed and large for this price catagory. The city theme in all the rooms is a nice plus. Although the wireless LAN could be detected, I could not gain access even though at my next location my wireless connection worked perfectly. The signal strength was only fair (2 bars from 5) in my room. This is a serious fault for a hotel catering to business people. Please fix it! I highly recommend this Hotel provided they do something about this.
Good room, good breakfast, good staff
roomes very spacious clean and well equiped cant think of anything to dislike at this hotel
Allmost every thing No
Big room, good service, free airport shuttle, free wireless internet Wireless internet connection was slow and sometimes didn't connect at all
Friendliness of staff, location near airport Charge for Internet
The close access to the Munich Airport. The personell was friendly and approachable. The shuttle bus operation wasn`t really precise.
Very nice hotel, large room, good breakfast. Convenient for the Therme
Lovely hotel, great breakfast, clean room and bathroom. The patio is a great place to eat and relax.
Henry hotel is a good solid hotel in Erding. It is 5 minutes walk from the town center, and a 10-15 minutes drive from the airport, so it is great for a first or last night in Germany when flying from Munich. It was next to a fairly busy road. Internet costs 5 euro, while in all other hotels in Germany / Austria on this trip it was free.
Facilities were contemporary and room very clean. Room was like a shoebox and really just too small. I did not pay for the cheapest single room but the superior - the difference I was told was only in the size of the bed. Also, I arrived by train only to find that "taxis are scarce" (words of hotel staff) and hence in driving rain had to find my way by foot from the station. I was soaked!
Very, very nice! All was good!
Great location for visits to the spa at Erding. The hotel provides a free convenient shuttle service. Excellent breakfast buffet with delicious homemade Birchermüsli and homemade cakes. The hotel restaurant offers very good food.
Boutique type of hotel close to centre of Erding.Very friendly staff.Clean modern room.Easy to park outside and hi speed wired internet in room I found the bed a bit hard but thats just a personal point....others would probably like it that way.
Good hotel with interesting design in the rooms. Breakfast was very good. The location is very convenient if you need to stay close to Munich airport.
very clean and convenient hotel especially to the airport
Very clean, efficient, pleasant staff, good breakfast, good location to Munich Missing soup (shampoo) holder(s) in the shower
A wonderful small new hotel located just a short drive from MUC, Munich Franz Josef Strauss Airport. Having made an early reservation for the last night of our three-week European trip, we were pleasantly surprised by the beautiful bathroom design, modern and functional furniture, and by the hotel's walking proximity to the historical center of Erding. Our one night stay ended with a very nice buffet-style breakfast. This hotel does not have a restaurant but there are several excellent dining choices within a five-minute walking distance. We had one of our best Indian food dinners at the nearby Shiraz restaurant. (The original owner was an Iranian, hence the name.)
Good location. Next to bus stop from MUC airport. Close to city centre of Erding. Everything was clean and neat. Good breakfast buffé.
Stayed in new hotel on opening day - staff on duty very helpful. Downtown Erding is very charming making a stay in Erding a better experience than at a hotel located directly at airport prior to next day connection. Liked that there is a refrigerator and tea making faclities on the floor for use by guests. The water from shower flows out of shower area into rest of bathroom. Does not seem to be a way to prevent this.
Close to the city of Erding (walking distance), which is a charming place with lots of restaurants and shops. Efficient staff, clean, comfortable rooms. Wired internet free of charge (they provide the cable!). Nice breakfast buffet. Only one--the "shuttle" to/from the airport turned out to be a very expensive (25 Euro each way!) taxi ride, or a bus (which is impractical with luggage). In effect, the hotel rate increased by 50 Euro.
No bar facilities
The facilities were very good and the staff were very helpful. Thank you for a happy visit.
Clean, modern and close to airport. Excellent breakfast and staff.
Hotel Linner was a great location to the Munich airport. The hotel was very clean and the staff friendly. The breakfast was great!
Located 15 mins. by taxi from Munich, Germany airport. Very new, super clean, friendly and helpful reception. Situated in Erding, a charming, quaint and elegant town, with good dining choices a modest walk from the hotel. Bedding was luxurious and comfortable. Hotel has a lift and the breakfast was extensive and delicious. Very little noise from the traffic on surrounding streets.
Location was great,Erding is a great little town with some good restaurants and bars, the hotel was perfect for what I wanted although the breakfast was not great. The only iiisue for me was that the breakfast was not great.
Nothing especially Internet access not included, expensive but poor
My welcome from reception, all the young ladies were so helpful, efficient, friendly and smiling. As were all the staff. Free private parking was advertised on the site, which was one reason for booking, it was not.
Fantastic hotel Very Nice. Be Ware the Hotel Shuttle is expensive 2 of us in a car charged almost 30 Euro 1 way. The S-Bahn takes just under an hour with 1 change
Great hotel! The staff was top notch and the room was extremely comfortable. The location was directly across from the train station and a 25 euro taxi ride to the airport.
In the famous town of Erding, Germany and Erdinger beer.
The place was great and the staff was very friendly.
Close to the city center Coffee machine available just for airplane crew
Everything was above average Close to airport. Resturant/bar great
Friendly staff, central location Lack of ironing and laundry facilities, Parking available but challenging.
Small hotel. Personal contact with owner. Manager was extremely helpful and pleasant. Hotel was very well located for our needs. 15 mins by car to Munich airport.
Friendly atmosphere, very welcoming. No facilities for tea & coffee in room
Good central location, friendly staff Room was very warm during the night
basic but comfortable. close to the airport in a pretty town. a world famous local brewer’s own pub is just 20m away.
Very close to centre of town with easy access to shops, transport and restaurants. Parking appeared difficult
Good location. Some staff very good. Poor facilities in rooms. No irons, kettles, fridges etc. No washing facilities in hotel, or laundry service. Didn't accept Diners card - as adveertised.
Excellent central location, staff very pleasant and helpful, room spacious and very clean, breakfast was very continental so may not suit everyone, we would recommend this hotel.
basic room and very basic bathroom too expensive for the location.not handy for the airport
kindness and services
