We are waiting to welcome you to 'La Jeusseliniere', our traditional 18th century stone farmhouse nestled in one hectare of the beautiful Mayenne countryside. The Chambre D'Hote (B & B) at 'La Jeusseliniere' was converted in 2012 and we are delighted to be able to offer three beautiful en-suite bedrooms all stylishly decorated and furnished to a very high standard. All have private entrance, WIFI, Satellite TV, tea & coffee making facilities etc. Surrounded by fields of corn and Normandy cows you are guaranteed a peaceful break. We are also able to offer for self catering guests a choice of two comfy, fully equipped gites - 'Jolie Grange' (two bedrooms) or 'La Petite Jeusseliniere' (one bedroom) both stylishly decorated and furnished to a very high standard. We feel that our retreat at 'La Jeusseliniere' is ideal for artists, poets, star gazers, walkers, cyclists and so much more.
Pros: The property both inside and out is a joy; light, bright and tranquil with the added bonus of a wonderful menagerie of pets, should you choose. Lindahas a delightful personality, nothing is too much trouble and she has a wealth of local information. A lady who loves to cook and we were the lucky recipients of what she described as "a simple" supper ----- delicious.a wonderful place, either in one of the gites or as a B and B guest.
Cons: Absolutely nothing
Pros: On arrival through to departure, we were made very welcome by Colin and Linda, nothing was too much trouble, we were recommended local restaurants and even a friend showed us their property/business, recommended.
Pros: It is situated in a very quiet and peaceful setting: great to relax. The rooms are very tastefully decorated, as is all of the property french shabby chic with a touch of English Country Garden, very Laura Ashley! You can see there is a lot of love that has gone into making the B&B very presentable to guests.
Cons: No dislikes.
Pros: Nice comfy beds and nice rooms Nice owners Parking
Cons: Bit over priced for B&B in a remote area but nice place
Pros: A good location and lovely hosts
Pros: Colin and Linda are the most marvellous hosts; they were welcoming and friendly and were full of lots of great ideas for different things to do during our stay. The room was spotlessly clean and La Jeusseliniere is a beautiful place to stay in the peaceful French countryside.
Pros: Such a lovely welcome - could have chatted to Colin and Linda all evening! Beautiful house, immaculate and so clean, lovely soft bedding and beautiful decor. Great continental breakfast with the best lavender honey, fruit and coffee. We were made to feel so welcome and the house was so clean - it was a joy to stay there. Lovely gardens with chickens and cats and a cute well behaved dog.
Cons: Having to go ......
Pros: The informal but warm welcome on our arrival. The owner's friendliness without being intrusive. Lovely immediate surroundings. Relaxing atmosphere. Anticipation of our possible requirement for an evening meal and directions to an open restaurant bearing in mind it was Sunday in France.
Cons: Trying to find La Jeussiliniere initially. Perhaps the website could offer some local directions from Ernee or Larchamp.
Pros: Wonderful b&b decorated in a lovely style, you will feel like home from the first second. For breakfast you will discover a very tasty homemade quiche and lemon cake that you definitelt have to try!❤
Pros: Beautifully finished and quiet. Good breakfast and great owners. We would return.
Cons: Nothing to dislike

Pros: Amazing value, beautiful place to stay.
Pros: Everything. Christine and the staff all lovely and helpful. The towels very soft and fluffy and better than those in the 4 star hotel where I stayed next. The shower delivered fast hot water straight away. The rooms are very clean but they are simply furnished and practical. No tv in the bedroom but one in the salon. Breakfasts good value and kitchen available to cook your own evening meal. St Denis au Gastines has a few shops and small supermarket.
Cons: Nothing negative - the Chateau Du Bourg is clean, very crisp and clean bed linen and towels, it is plain and simple and great value for money. Hot water hot and shower excellent.
Pros: Clean, clean, clean. Comfortable bed. Good French breakfast at a time of our choice. Friendly staff. Easy parking.
Cons: One 7 gram body wash sachet per person is not enough for a shower before going out and a shower in the morning. No soap to wash hands after using the toilet. Towels worn. (Out of season, restaurants are likely to be closed. Be prepared to travel 9 km and preferably get in by 19:00)
Pros: Lovely friendly welcome and good clean rooms. It is in a nice little village about 8km from the restaurants of Gorron. May be time of year bit the restaurant in the village was closed on a Saturday but no problem. Recommend.
Pros: Beautiful building and grounds. We received a warm, friendly welcome upon arrival. Breakfast was lovely with homemade jams. Would definitely recommend & will return again soon. This is suitable for groups & families. There is a restaurant in the village approx. 0.5 k walk which we highly recommend. David & Tracey
Pros: Staff very friendly. Hotel lovely
Cons: WiFi didn't work. No coffee making facilities in the room
Pros: Location, roomy and clean, freshly decorated and friendly host. Will stay again without hesitation. Great for motorcycle touring
Pros: Chateau du Bourg was excellent value for money. The staff were very friendly and helpful with a great recommendation for dinner only a short walk away.
Pros: This place is just beautiful! Not only are the rooms lovely but you also have access to the kitchen and sitting room. The price is incredible! I don’t know how they do it so cheaply. I booked another night. It’s in a sweet little village that has everything you need.
Cons: Nothing, it’s perfect.
