5.5 Okay
Pros: host were kind
Cons: We ordered the "suite" which turned out to be 2 separate rooms, one of which had a small bathroom, located in the attic (3rd floor), separated from the rest of the house by a curtain. Though ordered and paid for 2 nights stay, and though the host were kind we preferred to leave after one night.

Pros: Very tasty dinner and brakfast!
Cons: Nothing
9.5 Excellent
Pros: We had a lovely stay at La Becassiere. Beautiful location and surroundings, very peaceful and the hosts were very welcoming and friendly. Would definitely recommend

Pros: We had a wonderful stay in this fairy tale house and none of us wanted to leave. We had a dinner with Florence and Maurice and really enjoyed all the delicious food and very warm atmosphere they create around. Breakfast was just perfect for us with 15 homemade jams. The weather was nice and it was served outside on the terrace with the gorgeous view. Also we got so many tips where we could go nearby. It couldn't have been more perfect!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: An old big house, well refurbished, in a magic natural place, with very interesting interior design, with special, charming owners: Florence and Maurice. They gave us wonderful moments at dinner, Maurice is a good chef and they are agreeable companions. We hope we`ll meet again!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful property, every room has its own theme and there are everywhere tiny details that perfect the place. Breakfast was wow, with a big number of incredible home-made jellies, prepared by the owner himself! We also had dinner with our hosts, food was also great, again home-made by the owner, a real gourmet experience!

9.5 Excellent
Pros: Hosts rooms food all good x
Cons: Nothing
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic hosts. Very friendly and informative. Lots of local info. Great food, excellent cooking with local ingredients. Maurice (host) is a fountain for culinary information and a fantastic cook. It really feels like staying with generous distant relatives who live in an amazing home. The decoration and style of interior is very personal and therefore not to every one's taste, but it is certainly unique and an experience to see. So refreshing, when today all hotels look the same. Birds chirping, garden blossoming. Lots of walks to do and local area to explore. Can highly recommend it, perhaps especially a little out of season for lots of peace and quiet.
Cons: Everything about the stay at La Becassiere was perfect. What is a little irritating are just the motorists and motor bikers using the valley as their racing track, with roaring bike noise every now and then. Shame the council doesnt put radar cameras along the road. 100% of bikers are criminally speeding on these country roads. Would bring lots of money and keep the peace and quiet which makes this place so fantastic. But I guess the passing bikers are a big source of income for local business.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: One of the greatest stays ever! Beautiful nature, fantastic old villa furnished with style. Romantic superlative dinner into winter garden together with the owners. Many thanks Maurice and Florence, I'll remember this experience for the whole life, all the best to you and your families!

Pros: The hosts were very friendly, attentive and helpful. The included breakfast was rich, served with homemade jam, local honey, fresh fruits, yoghurt, cereals, different sorts of bread, coffee or tea and fresh orange juice. The pool is refreshing and can be used at any time during the day. The area around the lodge is probably perfect for hiking, unfortunately we didn't take advantage of this too much.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The tent (more of a tent house) was great; spacious clean and comfortable. Breakfast was served on the veranda every morning. The surroundings were beautiful and calm. Would recommend pizza night !

Pros: We had a wonderful stay! fantastic hosts (so kind and helpful) and amazing location. The area is beautiful and great for nearby walks from the lodge.. Property is gorgeous - pool is a highlight as well amazing breakfast on the terrace and a lovely private BBQ. I very much recommend a stay.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Young, friendly and very open people. Moreover, owners speaking good English that is quite important in France where local people usually do not speak English and for the non-French speaking guests it may not be so easy. I am happy to recommend the place - beautiful nature, a nice house, calm and sunny place.
Cons: I was happy there, no problem
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Absolutely amazing place, we were totally satisfied with our stay at the house of Julie and her husband. The hosts are very friendly and welcoming and their house is very cozy, situated in a picturesque terrain, where you can enjoy the beautiful landscape and rest from the city vanity. The breakfast was an additional plus, the served homemade jams were so tasty with the local pastry. Thanks a lot for a perfect stay :)
Cons: Nothing at all
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This place is a little piece of heaven, charming hosts, great scenery, lots of nice walks minutes away and a top-class breakfast. Highly recommended for a quick getaway from the busy French Riviera
9.5 Excellent
Pros: This was meant to be a one-night stop over place as we drive across the mountains. And it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The property is embedded in nature and it was a very special experience to spend a night there. The rooms are simple, but has an amazing terrace where you are served breakfast and it also has a pool looking over the mountains. Would recommend pre-ordering dinner as I don’t think there are supermarkets/dining options in close proximity.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: This place is much more than a Bed and Breakfast: it's an entire experience that will restore you and help you relax. Things that stood out: the super cute village that we biked to for dinner (10-15 minute ride with some hills), the experience of doing nothing more than lounging by their pristine pool for hours upon end (and drinking the local rosé!), hearing and seeing how Roland has transformed the estate gardens from their once deteriorated state into the wild and vibrant garden that it is today, taking in the view of the incredible panorama of mountains that surrounds the estate, to the fabulous breakfast with homemade jams. We also enjoyed the presence of three very personable felines throughout out stay. I hope we get the chance to go back soon. It is an experience that we will not soon forget. Merci beaucoup!
Cons: nothing, except maybe the mattress and the pillows were a bit soft for our taste in the Lavender room.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This was their first season, so we were really lucky to be there. Ronald and Elisabeth are great hosts, very friendly and helpful. Elisabeth gave us great tips for fantastic local restaurants. Breakfast was great and plentiful, fresh croissants every morning, home-made jams, just to name a few:). We loved the place, it was just so peaceful and quiet and the pool...! We truly hope to come back.
Cons: I actually didn't like the payment method by booking.com and also the percentage booking.com took for our reservation: 15% which is outrageous. Next time we book directly with the owners.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Our "petite maison" amongst the olive groves was wonderfully situated, beautifully clean and very comfortable. - romantic and private. Our hosts Elisabeth and Ronald could not have been more kind and helpful. The setting was perfect, out in the countryside and yet only a few minutes drive from the town. The swimming pool was lovely to cool of in after days out.
Cons: Nothing!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Elisabeth and Ronald are kind and thoughtful hosts with a beautiful property. The guestroom was comfortable, cozy, and quiet with a lot of charm. A highlight was waking up to the smell of lavender and enjoying breakfast of homemade jams and fresh squeezed juice with a view of olive trees.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We were made to feel welcomed by the hosts despite our very rusty French! Breakfast outside was lovely, the hosts went into the village to buy fresh croissants everyday and provided a variety of homemade jams and honey. The Swimming pool is beautiful and has views over the mountains. Safran Room is tucked right away and is lovely; clean and well decorated. It's a very calming place and we felt extremely relaxed by the end of our stay. Can't wait to go back!
Cons: The chairs out side the Safran Room are a bit uncomfortable. Really the only negative thing we can think of!

Pros: Found this place by a coincidence, but we were very lucky! Spectacular place, nice and clean rooms, beautiful garden (lots of places to relax). Hosts are wondeful people, offered us to have a fabulous 5-course dinner with them (and a few other guests). We had a good laugh and simply great time with them. And breakfast was delicious too! Pros: Staff was in general very nice and they let us store our bikes inside. The location was good and everything was very clean.
Cons: Breakfast was not included in the price and we paid 9,5 euros per person for an ok breakfast (nothing amazing), so the hotel was overpriced in our opinion. The decoration and furniture was old. Dinner at the restaurant was good, but again overpriced.

Pros: Clean, comfortable, olde worlde hotel. Good food, and in a good location, near bars, restaurants and shops.

5.8 Okay
Pros: Friendly owner, very comfortable bed.
Cons: No hot water in bathroom. Dead ants in cereals at breakfast, plus one live ant. Breakfast was late and slow to arrive (supposed to start at 08:00 but didn't get milk/cheese/orange juice until 08:15). Got double-charged for my room by the owner on my credit card - he then gave me a cheque in Euro's, drawn on a French bank account, to make amends, but this caused me problems in getting it cashed on return to the UK, as my bank wouldn't cash a foreign cheque, so had to open a new account with a different bank just to get the cheque paid in.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Very comfortable bed, plenty of parking.
Cons: Check-in took almost an hour as the price we had been given on booking.com was challenged by the owner, who wanted to charge us a higher room rate. Took a while to resolve. Breakfast was limited in choice. Room was freezing cold, with just a tiny electric radiator which took hours to get the room luke warm. No hot water on arrival. Felt like we were being watched whilst we ate breakfast, as the girl just hovered around while we ate and we were the only couple in the breakfast room.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Very comfortable, clean, quiet and air conditioned room. Nicely positioned on the edge of the town close to shops and restaurants.
6.8 Good
Pros: Smalll hotel, not much facilities and basic room. Staff is kind and helpful.
Cons: Room facing a wall and parking is just a shared public parking with no security. Amenities sparse and basic.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very nice owner , who greeted us warmly even though we checked in late (check in is by 8:30pm), and insisted on shlepping our bags for us, even though they were each 20kg! The owner kindly upgraded us to the superior room, which was a very nice bonus. The room was large with a nice bed, separate toilet from shower, a fridge and TV. It also had a lovely balcony overlooking the mountains, which we had coffee on in the morning. The hotel does not provide complimentary coffee in the morning (it doesn’t seem to be the norm in France), but they do have breakfast for 9 euro a person. We instead walked down the block to the first Boulangerie (right of the hotel, about 4 min walk) and picked up 2 croissants and 2 coffees for less than 4 euro in total. The owner was very friendly and helped us with activities around the area and in Castellane. We were headed toward Castellane for water activities and to hike the Gorges Du Verdon - well worth it!!! All in all it was a pleasant stay and we’d stay there again if we need to be in that area!
Cons: Complimentary breakfast or at least coffee.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Room was cleaned and beds quite comfortable. The old gentleman in the reception was quite.
Cons: It is annoying when you cannot get WiFi in your room. Cannot pay with cards as they do not have card facilities. Reception even doesn’t have computer. It seems they forgot that we are already in 21st century.
5.8 Okay
Pros: the bed and room was big and free parking, though it was not secured
Cons: At check in there was no one and I had to wait for more then an hour for someone to arrive. The person who finally arrived could not speak a word of English, though reviews say that the staff/host can speak good English.. there was one other woman as staff but she didn't even want to talk at all because she knew even less English. with this bad communication it took another hour and 3 people and a helpline over the phone to finally get the wifi password. furthermore the budget room was very dated and smells like mold.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A superb hotel in this lovely little town. Friendly and helpful manager/owner who spoke English. The hotel is exceptionally clean. We had a newly refurbished room with modern colour scheme, huge comfortable bed and a modern bathroom and separate toilet. We had the bonus of a small terrace and a fridge! A fridge!!!!!! We had the best night's sleep in our tour in this room with the comfortable bed and very good quality bedding. Free public parking is adjacent to the hotel. We could not fault this hotel and it deserves more than a 2* rating. Loved this town for a one night stay.
Cons: Nothing to complain or comment about - everything was very good.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Hotel was very clean and comfortable with great balconies for sitting out in the evening. The owners were pleasant and helpful. Definitely a recommend if in the area.
Cons: All was good.
