10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hosts couldn't do enough to make us welcome, happy and informed. Really a find and with a little more time we would have enjoyed the pool and the "spa".
Cons: Maybe not the prettiest part of town.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Absolutely lovely B&B. Clean and tidy, and a very comfortable bed. Very quiet at the back of the house. The Madame could not have been more helpful, she even drove me to the local supermarket & waited while I bought a picnic supper to have in my room. She had also offered to drop me off at local restaurants that are a 20 minute walk away. The landlady also provided plates and cutlery & a wine glass to enjoy my bottle of Bordeaux. Also, because of the time of year I got to choose which room I preferred. This was the room by the pool. This has a patio area and a level of privacy not provided by rooms in the house. The landlady also provided a safe place in her garage for my bicycle; this is an essential when you’re on a cycle touring holiday.
Cons: I was on a cycle touring holiday and found that I had to contend with some pretty major roads getting to and from this B&B although there are numerous cycle paths. I found the breakfast a disappointing basic continental, with limited choice and forgettable croissant apart from some nice, maybe home-made preserves. I asked the landlord for hot milk to go with my coffee on a number of occasions but this did not happen. This may have been because there was no microwave in the kitchen or because I did not make myself clear in French. The Landlord stayed in attendance while I had breakfast which may be traditional at Chambre D’hotes but I found I could not really relax.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This property exceeded our expectations. The location was perfect, easy distance for nearby restaurants and secure parking. The room was perfect, spotlessly clean and more than adequate for a stay. A nice continental breakfast. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. Lovely pool and gardens - highly recommended. Would stay again.
Cons: Nothing not to like!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Lovely owners, helped with ordering taxi and went out the way to provide ham with breakfast on the second morning
Cons: Location was perfect for us but it is quite far from town
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Very welcoming hosts. A good traditional family b&b. Pool was a welcome bonus.
Cons: Needs to drive or taxi to town centre.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: A very friendly welcome and lovely hosts. Use of the swimming pool and hot tub. The property is a quite a long way from the town centre but on our first evening the hosts kindly drove us so that we could enjoy a meal in town and then collected us at the end of the evening. A lovely and friendly gesture.
Cons: There was nothing that we did not like.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything spotlessly clean, excellent comfortable accommodation, lovely breakfast
Cons: N/A

Cons: Fantastic place - very clean , everything was provided. Owner was so lovely - even drove us into town for dinner & picked us up to return late at night . Pool and hot tub were amazing - definately visit again & recommend .

9.5 Excellent
Pros: The hosts were amazing, giving us a restaurant recommendation and driving us into town. The property is lovely with a great view over the valley. There a five cats which were all very friendly. The bathroom was of a very high standard. And the breakfast was all organic.
Cons: The location is up a steep hill out of town.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The owners, their desire to make our stay perfect, the views and the overall facilities. Lovely comfortable bed, great bathroom, lovely breakfast with fresh ingredients including home-made jams and artisan cheeses.
Cons: I suppose the clue is in the name but, we were unprepared for 5 cats on the property. To be fair, it is a large property and the cats roam free and are not a problem as long as you keep your door closed.
8.3 Excellent
Cons: Better signage to help find the place, especially at night!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly couple! Nicely decorated house! Amazing breakfast! Cute cats!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: This place is fantastic. Big beautiful rooms with comfortable beds. It is located in a nice area and the rooms have a beautiful view and there is a big garden where you can sit and relax. The breakfast they serve is very good - fresh bread, cheese, charcuterie, yoghurt, müsli, fruit, juice, tea and coffee. The place is hosted by Rene and Daniel who are nice, helpful and very friendly.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: We were in the area for a wedding and this was a great spot! The couple who owns and takes care of the place were amazing and so nice to talk with. The house and gardens are beautifully and well maintained.
Cons: It was a heat wave when we were there and our room was so hot (but this generally should not be a problem).
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We stayed at Moulin de Baupames for three nights for a local wedding and couldn't have asked for a better stay. The warmth, hospitality and kindness of Rene and Daniel exceeded expectations! The villa itself is beautiful, the rooms spacious and the garden was stunning. We particularly loves breakfast al fresco on the terrace overlooking the river. Would stay again in a heartbeat -- this surely must be the best place to stay in all of Nerac (and further)!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hosts were so welcoming and went over and above what I expected. The breakfast was delicious and the property itself is beautiful. We will be back!
Cons: Nothing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Le Moulin de Bapaumes. We stayed in the suite and were very pleased with the rooms, particularly the living area overlooking the lock. The breakfast included fresh fruit, yogurts, cold meats, cheeses, omelettes and choices of breads and croissants. Delicious. We also stayed for dinner one evening and were offered a five course meal of excellent quality. One of the days of our stay was a Monday when many restaurants close and a picnic was provided for us to ensure we did not go hungry at lunch time. Réné and Daniel were welcoming hosts who went the extra mile providing ideas of places to visit. We look forward to our next visit.
Cons: Leaving.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything, Rene & Daniel were superb hosts, cracking location, beautiful property, heavenly garden, scrumptious breakfast, whats not to like.
Cons: Leaving!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The beautiful terrace over looking the lock and the friendly hosts
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The owners make this place really special. They are so welcoming and hospitable. Quite unique.
Cons: Nothing to complain about, without nitpicking.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Superb tranquil setting by the river with a beautiful breakfast on the terrace. The building is so quirky and the hosts are the most welcoming couple you could wish for.
Cons: Leaving!!!! A bit difficult to find. Google takes you in to the neighbours property. When it says fork left make sure you take the left track of the 2 drives in front of you then it's about 200m on the right in front of you. Iron gates.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Aside from the property and grounds being stunning, the hosts are just out of this world - incredibly friendly, warm and accommodating. Our room was beautiful and comfortable, breakfast was lovely (including a selection of homemade preserves). I only wish we had been there for longer and without external commitments.

Pros: Such wonderful, welcoming and helpful hosts!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The price was something ridiculously small while the place itself was great. We only stayed there a night but the room was amazing, breakfast was good and the hosts great.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Really nice house, spacious rooms and huge bathroom. Everything really clean and great breakfast! Cristophe & Sophie were lovely - Merci Beaucoup!!!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Extremely friendly, couldn’t do enough for us, great with our children
Cons: Nothing!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Really nice owners and very helpful, with a good breakfast to set you up for the day. The restaurant around the corner looked good, but was more than we wanted when travelling, the suggestion of Le Saint Romain was an excellent recommendation, had a really nice meal.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The warm welcome was wonderful. Could not have asked for more.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Excellent facility: obviously recently converted and was sparkling clean, and with modern technology. Christophe and Sophie were excellent hosts and we enjoyed the welcome drinks. The room was huge !
2.5 Mediocre
Cons: The owner of the property greeted me drunk, proceeded to pee with the door half open. Showed me around the property said he would make tea at 9:30 because I did not want breakfast. At 11 am he shouted through the door obscenities at me. I opened the door and he stank of alcohol. He continued to insult me because I did not come down at 9:30. I told him to calm down and when he did not I told him he was crazy. He took off his glasses and said he wanted to fight. I pushed him back, closed the door and packed my bags and left at his request. As I was there for a wedding, other people who I know stayed there too: they said that on Sunday he was too "ill" to get out of bed and his wife said it was because he had a headache... Another alcohol-fueled night I guess. Be very careful with this man! Do not take your children there, you never know what will happen. Good luck!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: What fantastic hosts! Super friendly - nothing was too much trouble; they were smiley and did everything they could to make our stay comfortable and easy, from booking taxis, to loaning us their car, to giving advice about local areas etc. We went to France for a wedding and wanted somewhere close-ish to the wedding. We booked along with some of our friends - we all had an excellent time and felt well looked after. We also loved the fact that we could use the place like our own home - from using the kitchen to the balcony whenever we wanted. The rooms were also fantastic - very clean and big, super comfortable, and even the use of Netflix on the Smart TV! A brilliant place to stay - the hosts really make it!
Cons: Swimming pool is quite high up meaning that you can’t see your kids from the side if they’re in there - you have to be in there with them the whole time!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: From start to finish the experience was amazing. Christophe is an excellent host and we will be returning again.
Cons: There was nothing more we could have wanted everything was perfect!
Le Moulin De Repassat - Clermont-Dessous - Building

9.5 Excellent (81 reviews)
Overview Reviews
When you stay at Le Moulin de Repassat in Bazens, you'll be near the airport and 14 minutes by car from Church of Dominipech. Free self parking is available onsite.
7.0 Good
Pros: Was a quiet place to stay
Cons: The fairly rigid rules
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was an absolute pleasure to stay at Moulin de Repassat Etape Voie Verte. It is a perfect place to unplug from the busy and modern hectic everyday life. Venue: My partner and I stayed for ten days and enjoyed it very much: the stunning venue, the warm and welcoming guest house with clean and beautiful styled rooms and comfortable beds, the excellent breakfast with fresh items of high quality and homemade jam (you have to try the homemade apricot jam!). Perfect! I am a vegan, and the landlord Madame Compignie bought organic almond butter and soy milk for me-what a kind gesture. In general, Madame Compignie is a really friendly, welcoming, and utterly helpful landlord, which respects the privacy and needs of her guests very much. On the property reign two huge Leonberger dog, they are very well trained and never get in the guest house and terrace area.- so no reason to be scared they are actually really cute. :D Location: The Moulin de Repassat is located in an area between Toulouse and Bordeaux, with lovely sights and tourist attractions around, local markets, small villages can be reached by car easily. There is a lot to discover, and we organized some trips but also stayed some days at Moulin de Repassat to relax and read. Tip: In previous reviews, we read that is is difficult to find the place and it is but we could easily and without any problems find the venue by using google maps as navigation systems.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: An absolutely amazing little B & B. I had driven far when I arrived and had a little hard to find there. But when I found it, it was the most wonderful place. An old mill, restored in such a beautiful way. It was so quiet, calm and beautiful. And a big room with a lovely bed. Wish I could have stayed there longer.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Quite country location. Excellent breakfast and warm welcome.
Cons: The lighting in the bedroom was inadequate and unable to read by it ...needs upgrading. Bed was rather soft. No public seating area. Locating was extremely difficult as no signs from main road.
4.3 Okay
Pros: The location. Natural, peaceful environment. Room was clean
Cons: The place does not have any staff. Only the owner was occasionally available and her dismissive and cold attitude made us feel as though we were bothering her with our presence. She charged our stay two days BEFORE we arrived and she ignored us during out stay. The day we were leaving, she told us she had to go and she did not even say goodbye to us. We felt unwelcome there. We were there in the summer and it was very hot. The facility does not have air conditioning. With the windows fully open at night the mosquitoes could get in and it was still quite hot. No toiletries provided except for a skimpy little bag with liquid soap. The only meal provided is breakfast and it was insufficient and the food of inferior quality. Clearly overpriced.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful stunning scenery and very lovely host. She went out of her way to get us to a restaurant and back when there were no taxis available. They also have bikes you can use to go explore the area
Cons: The walls between rooms are very thin and there was a family with a baby next door who cried through the night. Sounded as if it was in our own room. That's the only downside.

8.0 Excellent
Pros: Comfortable room, great shower. Good breakfast
Cons: We were unsure if this was in fact a superior room. The room description varied a little from what we received. Pictures of the superior rooms included stone walls, baths and the description said views of the town. Room 13 did not have these.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I loved the location in the little town of Nerac. It isn't called the royal town for nothing. Full of history but also a lovely little town to wander through, with friendly local shops and walking along the banks of the river was magical. Able to park outside the front of the hotel and the hotel staff's recommendation of the restaurant L'Escadron Volant was great .

The rooms are beautiful and the whole character of the hotel is stylish and boutique. The breakfast offers a huge range of choices with excellent coffee. A wonderful place to stay cannot recommend highly enough!

Pros: Superb, charming hotel and wonderful hosts who are always kind enough to accommodate our bicyces. Great English spoken if your French is a bit ropy. Have a look at the renovation photos in order to further understand what a great job they've done.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Staff were friendly and helpful. Location was great, with free public parking in the square at the front of the hotel (first come first served). There was an extensive option of items on the continental breakfast, which was reasonably priced. Saturday market (around the hotel and adjoining street) was good, as were bars and restaurants within walking distance.

Pros: The grounds were beautiful. Our hosts were the most charming and friendly people. Breakfast was fun and generous. The countryside around the property was stunningly beautiful. Be sure you look at a map, the place is very isolated and a great place to relax.
Cons: The internet did not reach the furthest rooms period and our room was a little small even for French standards.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Very quiet location, we booked the last remaining "small" room which we learned upon our arrival was in the tower and not suitable for us. Fortunately there had been a cancellation and we took that room instead which was very large and had it's own balcony.
Cons: Remote location and the place was not easy to find. There are no amenities such as supermarket.

Pros: Lovely, unique place, surrounded by beautiful nature; very welcoming, nice host; good breakfast. The room in the tower is super cosy and very unusual, it comes with an extra kitchen, which gives you enough room for bigger pieces of luggage.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Set in the most beautiful location, the beautifully refurbished 12th century property (heaped in history) is the ideal place to kick back and relax. The host (Thierry) will leave you wanting for nothing, so attentive and no request is too much! Make sure you ask Thierry for a tour around the grounds (paradise!).
Cons: No complaints from us here.

The room was on top floor with a shared bathroom, the staircase is slightly narrow. No problem for us but some older people may struggle with luggage. Our room and the bathroom was very clean. 10.0 Excellent
Pros: The best part of the stay was meeting the hosts, Michele and Bernard. They were beyond hospitable, helpful, and walked us through the property and it’s history (including their amazing renovation). This is a great place for friends and families, and it sounds like they are getting the property ready to host events and weddings! Also they are just a short 10 minute walk from the town Centre.
Cons: Truly nothing! The only thing to mention for some is there are (wonderful) dogs and a cat, and they are very friendly, but just a warning.

Pros: Our hosts were very welcoming and ensured we had all we needed. We were given lots of information about the chateau and surrounding area. Our suite was luxurious and extremely comfortable. We liked the private terrace, the comfortable bed and the wonderful bathroom. Michele and Bernard have gone to a lot of trouble to provide modern facilities in an historic setting. The towels and robes were wonderful. Breakfast was delicious with pastries and fruit. The pool was fantastic and the owners have now also created a lovely space for eating. Overall, it was an extremely relaxing and interesting place to stay and we wished we could have stayed longer to explore more of the region.

Cons: Not a thing!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The pool was great !
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Delicious breakfast with fresh croissants and bread and delicious local treats. The host was very welcoming and helpful - lending us an iron/ironing board and helping us out with using the pool. The location was lovely and tranquil and ideally located close to Nerac.
Cons: The description of the accommodation was misleading. It states that all rooms are fitted with a microwave and fridge, which was not the case as ours did not. The description also states that rooms at the guest house boast pool view. Only one room at the property (the large one with sofa beds) appeared to have a pool view - the other bedrooms where ours was on the ground floor level looked out over the back of the house. This in itself was not an unpleasant view - but not what we had expected from the description. The ground floor level also smelled very damp, as did our room. Towels would not dry and the rooms were not cleaned at all during our 5 day stay.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful house and very clean pool which we enjoyed using. The host was extremely welcoming and helpful especially with my poor french! Breakfast was excellent and very fresh in a stunning traditional farmhouse kitchen.

Pros: Extremely comfortable, beautifully furnished French country house. The breakfast was exceptional and every care is taken. A lovely peaceful place to stay.
Cons: We didn’t have a Sat Nav and needed to know that Le Marchon is on the D231 direction Galapien, not the D118 to Bazens itself. However we phoned and it was easy then.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Entirely suitable to our needs to meet up with our friends - as there are currently just two bedrooms we had the place to ourselves. Great garden. All very peaceful. Extremely attractive breakfast/common room. Downstairs bedroom opens onto garden and has a big bathroom. Breakfast was all that it should be.
Cons: Upstairs bedroom is fine in itself but the bathroom is unacceptably tiny for travelers. Practicality has been sacrificed for aesthetics. Also, the fact that rooms must be vacated by 10am - they are not accessible until 4pm unless by special arrangement - seemed to us a bit extreme. Especially as we wanted to profit from the garden for longer. Which we could do. But when we needed to use a toilet we were met with hostility...

Pros: The accommodation is very spacious, spotlessly clean and furnished beautifully. Lots of extras which make such a difference, high quality bed linen and towels, a small fridge with drinks, toileteries, fans and air conditioning, everything has been thought of to make your stay extremely comfortable. The owners were so welcoming, kind and helpful and the Breakfasts are amazing with locally purchased Bread and pastries and wonderful cakes, yogurt, fruit and preserves made by the owner. I cannot recommend this B and B highly enough, it was a fabulous place to stay for 3 nights for our family of four in a lovely location.

Pros: Everything from entering the property and leave it. It was a superb experience. The building and room was spotless. Every facility that I needed was available. Alan greated me at the door and I felt very welcome and at ease. I don't speak French so having Alan there helped so much. His character is so welcoming and friendly. A pleasure to have met him. He went out his way to make sure my dietary requirements were met. No other hotel, B&B has ever done this for me so I was extremely pleased. The service & accommodation is second to none. Parking was easily available which was a bonus. You will not be disappointed when staying at No.12!
Cons: Nothing to dislike!

8.8 Excellent
Pros: Everything else. The service is friendly and welcoming, the rooms look modern and are clean. The bed is very good! If I have to make a stop along this road in the future, I would certainly come back again.
Cons: Location. No-one can help it, but at this not so nice looking (industrial) intersection of main roads, this hotel is still the best option. There's not much you can do about the location, it's an industrial area. But hey, it's like it is.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly member of staff at breakfast.
6.8 Good
Pros: Location to motorway.
Cons: Despite letting the hotel know we would be late arriving staff did not inform us that we would require 2 codes to enter the car park and access our room. Over half an hour of trying eventually found a telephone number to try ‘ in a n emergency “. Better communication needed!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We received a lovely welcome and very much enjoyed chatting with our host. Our room was beautifully furnished and had high quality bedding. The building is very old which makes it all the more interesting. Particularly useful for us was the secure covered space to store our bikes. A very good traditional French breakfast with great croissant and very tasty fresh baguette accompanied by home made jams. We were also treated to a fascinating history lesson about the town. The host is extremely knowledgeable. Nerac is a fascinating old town. We should have stayed longer.
Cons: It is a longer cycle up from the canal than we had expected. But worth it!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Lovely welcome with a cup of tea and secure parking for our bikes in the back garden. Living with the owner in her home is very comfortable and the room we used was well equipped and comfortable. Bed provided a good night's sleep, quiet location, tea and coffee with a kettle in the room was a surprise. Breakfast was great with a view of the garden. This would be served outside in fine weather. The town centre is just a short walk away, with lots of history to check out and local restaurants to chose from. Thank you to our hostess for a great stay, hope to see you again one day.
Cons: The ensuite was ok, the shower was very small and needed a new screen, but it all worked well and there was a good supply of hot water.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: We loved the location of the place within the town of Nerac, we also really loved the unique room that we had which had spectacular views! The breakfast was what was advertised, lovely pastry and bread.
Cons: It was very warm - we would have appreciated a fan (although we did not ask for one) and the bedding was still winter weight.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: excellent location, very responsive staff, clean room
Cons: bathroom equipment too old
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Had everything we needed and the hostess Isobel couldn't have been nicer to us. Breakfast croissants delicious and the accommodation great value for money
Cons: Parking
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Staff were lovely and it's in a great little town with plenty of opportunities to walk about and enjoy the French countryside. There isn't much available in the town but it's an excellent place to unwind and relax.
Cons: While the staff were lovely, the breakfast was very traditional and unfortunately quite plain. If you like a croissant and tea every day it'll be perfect but if you're after a little more, you may have to look elsewhere.
7.5 Good
Pros: A quirky very old property on a narrow backstreet. All the amenities of this nice small town were only a short walk away with good places to eat and the beautiful river close by. The owner was very welcoming and the continental breakfast was good. The room was quite small but comfortable. There was access to a very pleasant courtyard garden.
Cons: The bathroom and shower were compact but the owner is about to renovate these facilities.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Lovely hosts wonderful house and great location.
