Suprisingly nice and helpful staff in view of beeing a large hotel with a lot of guests and traffic in the reception. Nice clean rooms. The beach is a cross the street :-) Fast elevators (we stayed at the 8th floor) Nice sea-view. Wery busy in the restaurant at breakfast during "rush-hour" but efficient.Nice selection and good food. Order your eggs by the chef, as you like them :-)
The View from my balcony The room next door seemed to be used for airline staff and was very noisy early in the mornings
I enjoyed the beachfront view from our room. The room was clean and had what you would expect from a European hotel room. I'm not a breakfast eater, but enjoy a cup or two of coffee in the morning, was disappointed that there was no coffee machine in our room. When I went to the snack bar, I was unable to get a coffee to take away, I would have to sit there and drink it.
The hotel is nice. The view from the room on the sea is beautiful and you just have to cross the small road to get to the beach. And it is quite near to the center and train station. And the breakfast was good as well.
The rooms were clean and comfortable, the balcony and view were great, and the food was very good. We had the breakfast option. None
The proximity of the hotel to the beach was perfect, just a quick, short walk and there your were. The room and the view from the room was excellent. The staff were extremely courteous and helpful, even helping me with my Spanish when I did not know the correct word to use. The cafeteria and restaurant staff were extremely friendly and took time to ask us if we were enjoying ourselves in Torremolinos and offering any assistance. It was a great stay. Absolutely nothing!
The staff were very friendly and helpful. My hotel room was very comfortable and clean with a lovely sea view. I would definately stay in this hotel again.
Poor attitute of the people at the reception desk. Their lack of adhearance of meeting there advertised commitments.
Good quality hotel across the road from the beach
location,breakfast,facilities,staff. Parking spaces very few
Quite a relaxing hotel, you could feel at home in it. Did not like the way two single beds were put into such a small space, too confined. Needs a rethink on the layout. No washing up liquid or washing up pads. A few tea bags and coffee sachets and a carton of milk in the fridgewould be nice. little things mean a lot.
location of hotel also the excellent buffet breakfast
i liked sea view , animation for all ages from kids to adults , appartment is very nice , clean , equiped .
a very relaxing hotel ,comfort and clean . it is realy a nice hotel.
Room was very clean, lots to do for young familys good value for money we would book again.
excellent poolside area, plenty of loungers, clean pool, easy access to beach. room at front overlooked road and was a little noisy. some breakfast items could have been better - tinned mushrooms, no fresh juice etc
We had stayed further down the coast and wanted another night near Benelmadena. We know the area very well and knew the location of the hotel and have always thought it was in a wonderful spot and we were not dissappointed. The staff were fab on arrival and allowed us to check in early . The rooms were ideal with everything you needed --shame we couldnt have stayed longer . Nothing
Everything is there, fantastic value for money , great service , comfortable room, fully equipped kitchen and fitness center with sauna. Can't say anything about the food, as we were on SC basis , but coctail bar was good too. Main and only inconvenience - no WiFi or LAN connection in the room. Hoped to do a few things while on holidays, but WiFi was only available in the bar, full of happy and loud people, which is very atmosferic, but makes it difficult to work.
Location is good because the bus station is very close the hotel and easy to move by bus. The training room eas out of order during our stay, but there was no information in the site and in advance.
We found the apartment very comfortable and the reception staff were extremely helpful. Also the prices of drinks etc didn't appear to be overpriced, unlike some hotels. Also it was a nice surprise to find that they offered cooking lessons!
Good for kids Room on 1st floor was really noisy at night as we were in bed early with our baby but would be ok if you had older kids.
the kids playroom was to noise after a11.00 at night when you have a child with you
Very good place , with very good prices The receptionist of the night ask each time the number of the room before let us get in. The car parking
Because I went with my family of 7 including 2 grandchildren 2/3yrs the hotel facilities for them were excellent, they are still singing and dancing to songs and talking about 'Benny' the tiger and want to go back again. Because we went in March the weather was hot but not hot enough to swim out doors, the indoor pool etc were very impressive and everything was free no extra charges. Very family orientated. Children facilities were great! I would have liked a seperate bar/room where no kids are allowed, just for a break for an hour or two or for people who have no kids.
indoor pool etc. location next to building site. maintenance of rooms i.e. second shower unusable, freezer door broken, one window didnt lock
Value for money, pleasant staff, and good facilities . Activities and entertainment package excellent.
The accomodation was very good, the staff always friendly. Breakfast was always the same, after five days of eggs and bacon,...
It is an exceptional pace to stay if you have children because of all the activities they have for them, we had to argue with them everyday to get them out of the hotel !! The staff that deal with the activities are very nice too. The hotel staff were helpful but they could have been more efficient. We never had bed linen for all of the beds and it took 3 times of asking before we actually got it. Also, every day our room key never worked at least 2 to 3 times and we had to keep going to reception to get it sorted which was a pain.
The staff were friendly especially Simon from the bar That hill.
very nice and clean hotel and staff friendly. very clean and modern. food abit on the poor side and expensive and nothing much nearby.i would reccomend this hotel to other people if wanting a relaxing break apart from a really big hill to walk if going anywhere! food and the hill!
Nice looking hotel, quiet place and the pool. We could hear everything in the next room
Really nice place, wonderful wiev and friendly staff!
On the two occasions we stayed at this hotel we found all the staff to be welcoming and helpful and quick to respond to any difficulties we encountered. It was perfect for ease of access from and to Malaga Airport at the start and end of our tour of Spain There was no feature of this hotel we did not like.
Residential location. Proximity to La Colina Railway station. 20 min walk to beach. Friendly staff
The room was fairly nice size and comfortable. There was an odor in the room that was not pleasant.
The rate, and it was very quiet, and near to the airport.
we just stay for one night and it was ok we choose the hotel because of the airport it is a good adress
very good clean hotel better then many larger chain hotels in area that are 4star rated and ive stayed in most but will only now book zen nothing
Good price, location Shuttle schedule was too ridged. Too many stairs. Tile floors slippery when wet. Rain got into our room and my 3 year old fell.
Delightful hacienda-style building. Swimming pool. Accessability to airport. The mattress was extremely hard and was the worst I`ve ever tried to sleep on. Very uncomfortable night as a consequence.
great breakfast, nice garden and swimming pool weak sound isolation between rooms
Room was spotless. Location was great-- right across the bridge. Were able to park on the street. Breakfast, included in the rate, was very good. Lots of restaurants nearby,
Its an excellent location with friendly staff who were also very helpful.
very clean, perfect location
The location of the hotel was very good. Safety deposit box in the room The breakfast area needs to be redesigned. The hotel is not four star i would say 2/3 star no free internet acess. i did leave comment at the reception area.
The staff were very friendly, polite and helpfull
going home there was no spar or indoor pool
Convenience for airport and visiting my parents
location to beach, clean rooms, people did not reserve sunbeds so although not many sun beds you could usually get one.Excellent breakfast Some of the reception staff were surly/rude.Small pool, I was expecting activities for kids there were none.I thought it overpriced given lack of facilities.
Location Lack of Ice Machine and Room Service. Front Desk staff uninformed about excursions and events in local area.
The situation and the facilities were excellent. The food was most enjoyable.
sorry but have to do this in English, my German is not so good. The hotel was very nice, rooms were clean and spacy, breakfast buffet was very good, bar was good and service was excellent. i would recommend it to everyone.
location, location, location everthing you needed on your doorstep, beach, pools, shops ,resturants and bars all close by.
food.good salection reception.some staff do not have time for you.
Nice stuff, Nice room, very close to sea...
It was off season. So, hotel staff changed our room to a bigger room with pool and a little ocean view.
Good location with sea view room, great value rate including a very extensive breakfast. Free parking.Great location for excursions to the mountains or Gibraltar Torromolinos as a resort was rather run down and had an out of season feel to it, (early Oct). Cheap bars and resturants as a rule.No complaints regarding the hotel
excellent central location by promenade
Location, pool area, entertainment, bars Food wasn't great, somehow without taste ...although quite a variety;parking space in the hotel is not enough at all- couldnt find a place during 4 days...
Staff, location No wash cloths in the room
value for money for all inclusive, lots of choice of drinks, food good choice. the weather but nothing to do with the hotel, I want to book this hotel in January and on booking.com there are no rooms for 4 adults although the room we stayed in room 215 would clearly accomodate 4 adults
Staff friendly, location great, all inclusive good value. Hotel rather tatty! Food like school dinners but you get what you pay for! Good for 1 night stays.
decent night time shows cruzcampo larger , terrible
Nothing Poor staff, really bad food, bad facilities
it was very good value for money staff were lovely no complaints
nothing the hotel was horrible dirty and food was rotten and i will never stay there again everything
cleanliness and quality of food plastic glasses being used in hotel bar in lobby
The position of the hotel and the friendliness of the staff Although their was a good variety of food, the quaity was poor and to see food which was served for one meal later mixed with vegatables and served again for the nextwas very dissapointing.
plenty of sun beds around pool no fighting for them even though hotel was busy staff very friendly location of hotel another plus as an english tourist staying there would have liked more than two english channels to watch
Having stayed on several occasions this is a very good hotel with excellent entertainments. Location is ideal for us with easy train access to neighbouring resorts. The standard and choice of food has significantly declined during the past two years which is very sad as this was a real selling point for recommendation previously and unfortunately very disappointing.
Foyer and breakfast was excellent position of hotel was very good in my opinion. Hotel room was cleaned well. My room was very small and looked and felt "old / tired" I was expecting a much better room considering it was 4 star hotel and the cost. It also claimed it had wifi in every room this was not the case. When I asked the receptionist he just shrugged his shoulders and said not every room had wifi. This was one of the reasons I selected this hotel.
great location, very nice pool and grounds, nice rooms beds too hard, not enought english tv stations only news channels, gym equipment needs to be better maintained and oiled ( squeeks alot) area needs to be air conditioned, breakfast staff not personable at all,
Spacious rooms, we changed from double standard to superior to have a seaview. Hotel was free with its bathroom amenities, for once enough towels available and cleaning very accurate too. Nice pool bar with lunch menu and staff. Beach service man very client orientated too. This al creates a nice atmosphere and made us feel welcome. The isolation rather poor, maybe due to all that marble? We stayed in the old building and the airconditioner was rather loud too. Had to switch it off in the wee hours to get some sleep. It functioned allright, though. We missed few hooks on the balcony to dry swimming gear. But maybe its because it would spoil the nice facade if clothes found hanging? The balcony ceiling being transparent...
the great attitude of the staff towards us,the poolside cafeteria and the quality of the food served reasonable prices having to leave as the hotel is closed till feb. next year
Close to the beach. Nice pool Food was just O.K.
An spectacular location on the seafront offering a great standard of food and facilities. Providing that old-fashioned 'Service with a smile'.
We chose the hotel because of the spa facilities which we found to be just as they had been described. Excellent location right on the beach within walking distance of shops, bars and restaurants. Reasonable prices in the bar and restaurant. Staff were courteous, well informed and had language skills. The breakfast buffet was definitely "4 star" with a wide range of foods to suit even the most discerning palate however the cereals were unappetizing, otherwise everything was of the highest quality and abundant. The plastic card on the table stating that food should not be taken out of the restaurant was tacky and unnecessary. One last point the Spa should remain open on all day Sunday and and all other days. Our room 520 unfortunately had broken tiles on the terrace which were dangerous to our bare feet.
I thought the pool was excellent, and the hotel was just what we wanted. Nice rooms and good breakfast. The beds were a bit hard for my liking, but I had a nice sleep in spite of it.
I enjoyed my stay at the hotel, staff were very courteous & helpfull. Great variety both in the morning for breakfast & dinner at night. hotel was spotless, grounds very well maintained.
Location decor this hotel should be a 5 star. We thought that the staff could not be more helpful. We were glad spainish strike happened other wise we would have not have found hotel, This hotel was recommened my our friend and mary was spot on. Will stay again. Nothing
The hotel is making good progress with modernisations and it's easy to see how much better the place is looking. The rooms are good and the air conditioning make them even more comfortable. The main pool is great if a little busy, and the view from the rooftop pool is impressive. Overall, the Cervantes offers good value for money, but don't expect too many 4-star frills. The lifts are painfully slow and there are not enough beds by the pool (I was annoyed so many beds lay unused but covered with someone's towel all day). Don't come for the food. It's not great and the queues are huge. There are lots of good restaurants nearby (to suit all tastes and budgets).
Because of the location in the centre. There was no internet possibillity, which is very usefull.
Matress are horrible
comfortable rooms and helpful staff we stayed half board and were disapointed at the lack of fresh fruit available at breakfast
The location was the main reason for me.
The location of the hotel is best. Too noisy both from the street and in the hotel. Walls are too thin. Breakfast is nothing to brag about. We expect a better standard of a grand hotel.
Very good and nice hotel situated in the center of Torremolinos. Inside the hotel it reamins quiet and gentle, without any noice or rumours of the outside world. The crowdy town is left behind when you pass the hotel doors
it was at the centre of the city which was good, nice n clean. food was good the only thing that ruined our holiday was when we where told it had sat tv, but they didnt tell us that all 35 channels where in spanish and german and not one english channel to be watched esp in winter at nite time. The fact that some german ppl where aloud to sit in the sauna completely naked really made me feel uncomfortable,
excellent location to center of torremolinos, modern hotel for the area, clean, good price The breakfast buffet was horrible, not worth eating. Better off buying breakfast elsewhere. WiFi in lobby not connected to to intenet and spoke to reception and they had no clue!
some of the staff were pleasant but not all. not enough variety in the evening meal. hotel needs modernisation.
Excellent location. Friendly, helpful staff. Free wifi in lobby was so slow I was not even tempted to pay to use it in my room. After long layovers better arriving, all I wanted was to soak in a hot bath. Hotel has showers in rooms. Food varies from excellent to British.
The location was very good... close to metro train station and shopping area. Staff was helpful. Buffet style dining was good. The bed, while very much appreciated king size, the mattress could have been a little thicker and softer and the pillows a little more fluffier.
Pool area very nice and clean Some staff not friendly
Spacious bedrooms, spacious lobby area, lovely outdoor pool area, excellent location for beach/marina, across the road from bus stop
Quality of food Personel in restaurant
I liked the hotel staff who were very friendly and the hotel was very clean and very well positioned in the resort lovely pools
Air conditioning had 3 speed controls but no thermostat so the room was constantly roasting, made it hard to sleep at night
I love the location the lovely gardens & the staff. It is a lovely spot to relax & the food on offer is excellent. There is an amazing variety catering for all tastes. The buffet is constantly replemished so last into the dining room gets the same choice as the first to arrive for meals.I visited with my brother & his wife and we keep retirning. As a widow I was sorry to find on my receint visit that there is no single rooms. I have to pay a lot more for this holiday.
Friendly atmosphere, good service. nothing
a pleasent place to stay. entertainment
Usual standards as we had been to this hotel previously.
The food and service in the restaurant was excellent and well presented. Location of hotel to beach and other amenities very good. Rooms a bit tired and in need of uplift
Friendly staff, close to beach, easy to find Breakfest did not last until the time it was presented on timetable, I hate it
Excellent location: near the beach and not so far from down town. The staff is helpful and cooperative. Good value for money The dining room is too small to serve all guests. I had to wait available table in mornings sometimes. There is poor noise insulation in rooms in the main building.
Very friendly and professional staff, nice courtyard and pool, location (close to the beach), cleanliness of room Triple room is too small and so are the beds, breakfast is quite poor
Quite nice and peaceful place. Good location.
brilliant stuff, perfect location & good quality-price ratio noisy
location is excellent - right next to the beach
The pool was nice. The location was near to the beach. The aircondition was only on/ off (no control). The bed was not so good.
Breakfast was really nice, as well as the direct access to the sea
I was particularly pleased with my room.It was clean, comfortable & spacious.I also found the reception staff & maid very kind & helpful I think that that dining room could be a bit bigger as most mornings it would struggle to cope with the guests so sometimes they would have to wait for a table to become vacant.
location, outdoor swimming pool. Annex room had no windows or balcony - only small skylights. Breakfast was very poor. Dining room tables were very dirty.
On the plus side it was in a nice quiet area, and near enough to the airport On the downside, it did not have a bus service near by and there were quite alot of ants in our room. Not good with a baby who likes to crawl...
The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms are a little depressing lol and the restaurant is really awful - don't eat there!
The Hotel staff were superb very obliging.
Easily accessible, 'no nonsense', welcoming, clean, good food and....easiest parking of 4 hotels used on tour! Location not the prettiest as on edge of industrial estate but ideal for airport at Malaga mitigated that.
The hotel was beautiful and clean---a welcomed sight after a long day of travel. I regretted that my flight schedule necessitated my enjoying only about four hours there (which were spent sleeping).
It was a good hotel, nice staff the location is bad, no metro no bus!! So you have to get a cab and that is expensive
All the staff were helpful and friendly and the rooms were well laid out No
Very helpful staff. Pity that breakfast only available at 8:30 - and that the water in the shower wasn't hot.
The staff were very friendly, the food and restaurant were also good, great breakfast, beds, close proximity to the airportl location is in basically an industrial area so very little to do outside hotel, the apparent lack of poper sound installation between rooms and I had very noisy neighbours and unable to regulate air conditioner
please have the "exact address" because there are 2 streets with same name so it has been quite longer to find it. and the front desk sent us to a restaurant that was closed that night. but overall good quiet location.
We needed a hotel relatively close to the airport and for this purpose it was good. The location is in a business/industy area without charm and vegetation but the hotel was very nice and the staff very helpful. We got breakfast early in the morning. Thanks!! The hotel was difficult to find and yellow hotel signs (as normally found i Spain) along the route would have helped.
All of the staff I interacted with were nice, pleasant, friendly people. It is close to the beach. How does this get 4 stars? I'm not sure this building deserves 3 stars. The hotel is tired and worn out.
Clean, nice food, would have liked an "All inclusive" option
I liked the hotel. It has a very spacious restaurant and the buffet was alright. They also have an Italian corner built into the restaurant which incidentally I did not realize until I had finished my buffet meal. There were Italian dishes you could choose from. This section is adjacent to the main buffet.Pity we were not aware of it until we had finished our buffet dinner!! I did not like that there was not any serrano ham or queso manchego (typical of 4 stars hotels on the Costa) and also no Paella on the buffet which we look forward to tasting whenever we go to Spain. Although the food was good , we have had more variety in other Spanish 4 star hotels.
Entertaing shows in the evening. Nice pool and close to beach. The all inclusive was adequate at best.. Free water, coffee, juice and Champagne for breakfast.. At dinner you had to pay for water? That makes no sense.. Food selection was fair but in five nights, seldom were things hot, disappointing.
We stayed in the hotel for a week and it was our first holiday in 15 years without the kids. I got a great deal with booking.com and i was so glad i had booked it when i did. For us the hotel had everything we needed. It was spotlessly clean everywhere. We loved its location right beside the beach and although we did not use the pool much it was great loads of loungers and shaded areas for everyones use. I cannot comment on the restaurant though as we did not eat there at all. We like to try somewhere new every night but it looked good and always busy. The room was spotless and cleaned everyday fresh towels and anything you wanted. I really liked this hotel and would go back again next year (maybe with kids maybe not!! The only bad thing i would have to say about this hotel was the lady behind the bar she was so rude. I only had one drink in there and we didn't go back. And i'd love for once to go away and sleep in a really comfortable bed. They are very hard but you do expect it out foreign. Having said that there was extra pillows which i was very glad of!
jakuzzi in the room
Great location only a couple of minutes from the beach. Staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were a little dated, but perfectly comfortable. The food in the restaurants was not that great - there are plenty of other restaurants outside the hotel, which tend to be cheaper as well.
The Don Pablo is well located beside the beach.Has a nice friendley bar around the corner called Teresas Bar that make everybody very welcome. And the hotel is just a few minutes from the airport. The hotel could do with a bit of a modren tuch up
The food was reasonable although the furnishings (sofa) were well past their sell by date and unusable although the bed was however comfortable. The flushing of our and other toilets was extremely loud but there was no filling of the tank sound that helped. Shame about the re-construction of the swimming pool that we were not aware of until we got to the hotel We were not able to sit on the sofa in the room because of extreme overuse and in need of replacement. The food was all right but it would have been nice to have had a hot meal. The food was spread too far apart and by the time you went all around the hall getting your meal and getting to your seat the meal was cold.
Location of the hotel was excellent, the facilities were also excellent. The room was spacious and comfortable. All in all this was good value. No
It was clean. The food was good. The staff were pleasant. It was only a 10 min taxi drive from the airport. Not rearly
The location was close to plenty of restaurants and right on the beach. The refrigerator costs extra to have it turned on. It was difficult to find lounge chairs by the pool and the ones by the beach cost different prices depending one who approached you.
location Room was very basic
Buffet dinner very good no tea or coffe making facilitys in room and paying to get fridge turned on
Location and much for the money The personal was not exactly intrested in helping out and they were not there when we needed them. A big minus was the system of the minibar where you had to buy 10 Items just to have them turning it on...
Short distance to the beach. Nice staff. Free use of tower (depositum 10 euro) for the beach/pool. Change of tower coast 1 euro. Short distance to Bealmáda (marina). Bus to Torremolnos near the hotel. You must pay 2 euro x 10 (water/beer) to use the freezer.
Internet services very bad
Location = perfect! Nightlife = incredible! Food = excellent! Pool was very dirty, no maintenance had been done for quite a while. the interior of the hotel was a bit dated a bit of refurbishment needs to be done to make it a real 4 star hotel and the fridge in room would only be connected if you bought 10 items from the list(more than 20 euros in drinks)
It was too far from beach, some facilities which was stated in site was not available like free safety box or satelite TV
food Hotel is huge, dirty, room smelled very bad from sewage in the bathroom. Extremely busy and only one lift for hundreds of rooms. Good food but it was an awful crowd at the table. I do not recommend . The worst that I stayed in Spain.
left to do my thing, when a problem occured witm my door access card it was dealt with-and resolved- immediately very noisy, total payment in advance
Friendly staff, good location for where we wanted to be. Very reasonable prices. We only ate breakfast there, and it was absolutely awful although there was a large selection. Saying that, we didn't go for the food... so not really a big deal. Worst cup of coffee I've ever had in Spain though!
My room was small and there was not much space to move around, the weather was very hot and there were no controls on the air con.
pool area very busy and the pool was a bit to small
Great value for money, in comparison with other 3* hotels in Torremolinos. Very good variety of food during breakfast, lunch and dinner. Basic variety of food for all inclusive service. Close to the railway station and to the airport (Taxi in the night from hotel to airport costs 18 eur only). Uncomfortable beds, no double bed, only two separated beds available. To many people in the hotel for available lifts, during the peak hours (breakfast, lunch, dinner time) steps instead of lifts using is needed (please, take to account the 10 floors of hotel) Small hotel swimming pool and related place close to it. It is needed to reserve a place in the very early morning. Quite noisy in the pool area and during the peak hours in the restaurant also connected with chaos. Air conditioning also noisy. Far away from the beach, 20 min by foot, a lot of stairs.
All-inclusive option with good food.
It is located at the Torremolinos station. During my stays, there were evening events at the pool of the hotel till 23:00. I wanted to sleep, I was annoyed by such noisy event.
That it was next to the beach The room was scruffy/worn out/in need of total refit of furniture and decoration.
close to all amenities the room was too small it did not have any air conditioning, the room was not cleaned in the three nights and four days we stay there. when we asked for more towels as only two bath towels were provided we were given out to at reception and told how we should know the rules
Good location. Very close to the beach, shops and restuarants. I went as part of a couple and the hotel is very family orientated.
close to beach, bars & restaurants & main shopping area in the own easy access by bus or taxi less than 10 min journey, entertainment in hotel & playground for kids apartments were great didnt like that there was a karoki bar nearby that went on until 2 in the morning!!
Me and My boyfriend stayed at Sol Timor for 3 nights, 4 days Mid August. We were a bit aprehensive because of other bad reviews but as far as we where concerned they are all untrue, The staff were very friendly and the room was very clean. It had single beds but they were easy to push together. We took a fan with us because it was rather hot but you are able to hire one there. The pool was very good, yes you had to pay 2.50 euros each for a sunbed but this is very cheap compared to 4.50 on the beach and there was plenty of room to just put out towels to lie on. The pool toilets and showers were always very clean. The supermarket was very good and was good for everyday essentials. 5 Great for kids with flinstone club! Deffinatly recomended!! There was nothing we didn't like, Completely recomended, 5 mins walk to benalmadena and 30 to torremolinos, Will be back next year
We have been going back to timor sol now 3 x a year for the last 5 years or so, good hotel, great location, next to beach ,surrounding area getting quieter every time we go, but can walk 30 mins or less into tormellinos or arryhio or benelmadena, harbour area lovely, and only 5mins walk hotel itself could do with being updated but good value for money rooms pretty basic but are cleaned every day . and have never had any problems. staff all friendly we only ever go self catering as like to eat out at different resturants every night The only fault we have with timor sol aparts is in the summer months really could do with air conditioning in apartments can hire fans but arent enough sockets to run them to keep u cool enough to sleep so wouldnt advise these apartments in the summer months when tempratures hit 40 to 50c
very central no need for taxis excellent location nxt to beach interior of hotel a bit out of date, poor lighting between lifts and apartment
location hallways had very little lighting at night
I enjoy staying at the Timor Sol. My first time to stay there was 1998 and I bave been back 15 times since. The location is fantastic. You are right beside the beach, bars, shops and restaurants. Only problem with Timor Sol is no air conditioning in the months of July and August.
