9.2 Excellent
Pros: We enjoyed our stay here - the hosts are very welcoming, and it is an interesting and unusual place to stay. Our bedroom was spotless, and the beds very comfortable. Breakfast was amazing, and plentiful, and very well presented. We had our evening meal in the attached restaurant - again it was excellent, and very good value. Would love to stay again, and would recommend.

Pros: Very nice hosts.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The Gasthaus Alte Brauerei mixes convenience with a charming 'olde worlde' style. Think exposed beams, artwork on the walls including ancient instruments and the occasional German doll, and miniature models of houses, and you're on the right track. If you're after modern, this isn't it. And, I for one am extremely glad for that. The owner is charming, and honestly can't do enough for you, in an engagingly efficient way. From the really superb breakfast - various sliced fruits, yogurt, a basket overflowing with baked goods, cold cuts (of course), some sliced vegetables, as well as a variety of teas, coffee or hot chocolate... - to advice about the area, everything is handled with the same care and attention. The beds were extremely comfortable, the bathroom was clean and well appointed if laid out in an interesting fashion, dictated by the angles of the walls in what is, after all, an old building. Many of the walls are at slightly crazy angles, which would put off a feng shui master, but we just found it added to the gemütlich nature of the property. We'd definitely go back; and that's about the highest praise a B&B can get!
Cons: The parking situation is... tricky. Here's the solution: opposite the Gasthaus there are a number of spaces that can be occupied (by anyone, it's street parking) only if you have a blue disc showing your arrival time. This disc is required between 8 in the morning and 6 at night on weekdays, and then 8 until 12 at weekends, and limits your stay to 2 hours. Outside of these times, you don't need a disc. However, five minutes away by foot there is a 24 hour public parking area: not very convenient for loading/unloading but fine if you want to park the car for the weekend. There's also plenty of space to load/unload in front of the Gasthaus without annoying anyone, so really, it's just about organisation, as long as you are able to walk back from the car park.

3.3 Mediocre
Pros: very nice location
Cons: unfortunatelly i am forced to write a negative review for first time after many booking trips. the staff was unfriendly and despite the fact did not mean the expectations regarding cleanliness -very important since we has a 2 y.old child with us, we let it go since it would be only for one night. we left the house in perfect condition and tidy. Nevertheless the staff called us after we had left to let us know that we should pay 30 euro for not cleaning. simply unacceptable, poor and professional behavior

4.2 Okay
Pros: Nothing
Cons: One chair in a doubleroom???? No map in case of fire. Very, very small bathroom. The staff was arrogant, not helpful at all.
7.9 Good
Pros: Excellent breakfast and really friendly staff.
Cons: We were surprised that the family room was not in the hotel but very close by in another apartment building. It was exactly as is pictured online and totally fine, just a surprise that’s all. Lovely little hotel with excellent breakfast.
