restaurant,SPA, room, location and staff. No information about SPA services in English, only in German.
The food the beds were quite firm!!
Our stay at Steigenberger Hotel was relaxing and very comfortable, while staff as increadibly friendly. Most of the clientèle is somewhat older, but the hotel seems also to cater for young children (highchairs, small bikes). We would like to return to it with our toddler one of these days.
Clean and large rooms
Brilliant staff. Asked for quiet non smoking room. Was given room facing motorway, immeadiately above main entrance which was smoking area.
Nice rooms, nice staff, good location for our purposes.
Clean and spacious single room. Breakfast price is extortiating in proportion to the room price, no minibar or tea machine. Drinks vending machine was out of order. Bring in your own food or drinks with you or leave for breakfast elsewhere. The hotel is hidden at a barren road in between the highways. Hard to find without a GPS. Far from any restaurant or shopping mall.
Hotel is well situated directly off the highway. The staff was friendly, it was very clean and the rooms were extremely large. The price does not include breakfast, which is rather expensive. Also the sheets and pillows were thin and uncomfortable.
The front desk reception was very helpful. Elevator Kind of a crappy location. Hotel situated in an autopark right next to the autoban. Lobby public computer not working.
Good location close to Autobahn - convenient for meetings in southern Munich area Difficult to get back from Landsberg Centre (I walked in the end)
This is a very nice hotel, with friendly staff, clean, and a pleasant stay. Would suit business travellers. Location was not ideal, right in the industrial section of town, and it required us to drive into town for dinner. Breakfast very expensive, could stay somewhere more expensive with breakfast included and be better off. You need a car or bike if you stay here. Also, the name on the hotel says 'Tulip Hotel'. We drove around three times before we realised it was the right hotel.
No food provision for Guests, I was in from the usa for a 2 day trip, forgot to get Euro's, and hoping to just grab a snack at the hotel which did not serve anything other than breakfast. B'fast was good though !. Clean and basic hotel.
the location was excellent, cleanliness the room was in floor -1 next to the garage entrance, very cold even though the heaters were on, it seemed like the heaters were only put on in the morning and since it was snowing outside it was so cold in the room. Not nice for a Spa Hotel.
Good relation price/quality, very good breakfast, quietly in the middle of the nature.
the hotel was very clean, comfortable and welcolming, the rooms were light and airey, the staff were very friendly and helpful especially karsten(happy) the waiter, who's english was much better than our german.the breakfast although only continental was plentiful and of good selection, the food in the restaurant in the evening was very good and tipical bavarian dishes, the surrounding area was very laid back & picturesque.as was the spa town it was in,not many english there can't understand why! so get yourselves there. will definately go again. (superb) we had to leave
Beautiful setting, relaxed atmosphere
excellant standards of comfort and catering and delightful environment no
Environment, friendly staff, etc.
The comfort of the room Although it states all the rooms have internet access, my didn't! The lay-out of my room stopped me from receiving a signal in my room. Because of this I had to work in the lobby.
The room was charming and nicely renovated. Great, comfortable beds, The restaurant served the best Bavarian food and perhaps the best beer I have ever tasted. Breakfast was also brilliant with eggs, bacon and a variety of cold cuts, cheeses and breads. Nothing negative about the experience. Older or physically challenged travellers may have difficulty with stairs though. If you are not used to them, the nearby church bells are very loud in the morning!
During our two week holiday in Germany, we stayed in a wide range of accommodation from luxury castles overlooking the Rhine to budget and middle range hotels. The Irseer Klosterbrau was without a doubt our favourite place and the highlight of all our stays. The room was huge, superbly designed and very well equipped. The building itself has to be seen to be believed and the restaurant was simply amazing. The food was delicious and very affordable, and the locally made beer was sublime. Service was fantastic too. Overall, we can't recommend this hotel strongly enough and is well worth a visit. Only thing we regret is that we didn't stay for longer. If we had the chance again, we would check-in and enjoy the food (and beer), and then visit Neuschwanstein Castle and Fussen the following day - to return to the Klosterbrau for more great food (and beer).
We enjoyed the location and the choice of food. The beer was also very good quality and value. The rooms were of a reasonable size and well maintained. The only slight negative was that there were steep flights of stairs to our bedrooms which might be difficult to negotiate with heavy suitcases or if infirm.
It was very quiet, comfortable and deep relaxation. The home-brewed beer was so good. Moreover, the dishes of the restaurant were also delicious.
I received a warm and friendly welcome. The hotel staff were gracious and helpful in seeing me to my room and finding an ideal parking spot. The services were very accommodating for meals and arranging for a long stay than expected. The room was clean and freshed up beautifully. The hotel's proximity to the walking streets in the town center and to the countryside is ideal.
