Great Hotel with amazing views. Communal area and restaurant were very cold.
Magnificent view of the mountains. Very good hotel and location to rest and relax. Too expensive.
It's quiet with a wonderfull view.
The amazing view and spa facilities. Very unique location, an old hotel which is nicely redecorated and new spa facilties added. The hotel has areas which are not nicely taken care off and provide a strong contrast with the new areas in the hotel. That is a shame as it downgrades the other nice experiences.
The hotel is situated in a beautiful location, with panoramic views from the room and common areas.
Very old and uncomfortable furniture. Stupid design of overly large faucet over very small wash basin made its use very inconvenient. No warning of need to climb 3 floors to room when I have disability.
A lovely small tourist hotel with only a few rooms. Takes you back in time. You feel like you are walking around a museum with all the old furniture and fittings. Lovely place to stay. Liked the hotel a lot though not easy to find. Poor street name markings. Aim for the old church and its just off the square. Very isolated, not sure who it is trying to attract, but a great find for us.
Beautiful, stylish interior, a touch of luxury, great location, very helpful staff Ideally, the staff could speak English...
No TV cabo
very poor breakfast
The location of the hotel and the view from our balcony. The swimming pool was clean and not too crowded and the breakfasts were very good My wife did not like having to ask at reception for a hairdryer every time she washed her hair.
Great place, real nice town and views from hotel room were great The bed was a bit hard for me and there was only 3 pillows in the room. 4 would have been great but I am sure if I asked I would have recieved another. But overall I will stay again sometime that is for sure :-)
Mirandela is a very small city. The hotel is central and you can walk anywhere. Most spoke English. Breakfast had a lot of choices including sausages and eggs along with standard European items. Luxury it is not, but it is a clean basic hotel.
River view. Good food at a fair price. Easy parking. Water was only lukewarm in evening and early morning.
The location is great and the views over the river, if you pay an additional fee, are beautiful. Only a very small corner offers wireless access, the staff are not warm, and the quality of the breakfast is poor. Furthermore, the room has no fridge, the bathroom no toileteries.
Location was ideal for our holiday Bit basic
walking, working, visiting mass, no
Fantastic location, on top of a hill and far away from urban madness. Superb service; tasty home-made set meals.
It was very quiet and peaceful and there are good walking possibilities.
The quiteness and the amazing breakfast.
Staff were most friendly and helpful. We had an opportunity to talk with one of the priests who has completed some major translations but was very humble about it. The convento is quiet and a wonderful spiritual opportunity.
beautiful location and serene atmosphere, very friendly staff simple but adequate facilities lovely home cooked style meals
Very quiet place - beatiful view, wide landscape and atmosphere (this monastery is suitable for everybody who wants relax and meditation) Some noisy visitors (especialy during the weekend)
Good basic accomodation. Everything you need is there, but keep in mind that this is a convent. So don´t expect anything fancy. breakfast is a bit late
A warm welcome, and very pleasant staff. A very calm, quiet and peaceful place. Kitchen staff very nice, and we had a very plentiful and enjoyable set meal, of excellent value. Wished we had planned to stay for another night, to benefit from the restful experience.
location, people, food, peaceful - no shops . world away from consumerism
