Towels on sunbeds...Food sometimes had been under heat lamps for too long and could be dried out

The inside pool is nice with kids since it is warm. The outside pool is nice if the weather is good, the children slides and playground are nice. Rooms are clean and hotel is modern.

The food is very low quality. It looks like they are on a cost-cutting, everything is cheap. You want a fresh orange juice? Pay extra. The meat from the grill ("picanha", they said) was so hard. Even Bacalhau a Braz, a dish that everyone knows how to cook in Portugal, was poorly cooked. Many ingredients from the can, directly to the buffet. The breakfast is like a copy-paste from the US/UK hotel chains, including "baked beans" and so on, which doesn't make any sense since only a few countries have the habit of eating those things. Finally: the cocktails at the poolside bar are a total joke, no matter what you ask you always get some sort of "juice". A word to the personnel: they tend to be kind, as this is Portugal, but sometimes they are even ashamed with these miserable little cheap details, sort of "in my house I wouldn't ever do this to you, but in this cheaply managed place we have to do it because that's what the bosses want". So if you want to book a hotel, teach a lesson to these cheap bosses and book it elsewhere in Evora. Hotels are moving into personalized experiences and care for details, not into stupid large chains where everybody get cheap american breakfast. A croissant, a fresh juice and a smile in the kind spirit can give you more that a large buffet that appeals to nobody's heart. Note on the inside pool: it takes two kids and a few parents who don't care to make it a noise hell. We have kids and it even bothered us to see some wild "participants".
