Pros: Friendly welcoming host, plus an endearing dog. Beautiful setting right in the village.
Pros: The host was very nice, the house clean and cozy and the room silent and comfortable
Pros: The bedroom was beautifully decorated and even the towels were matched to the deodorant. there was also a really nice bathtub in the bathroom. Overall the best b&b encountered on this trip.
Cons: Shower over bath very hard to use makes water everywhere
Pros: The owner was lovely! She makes sure you have a great stay. Fantastic breakfast, great room, everything was perfect. Highly recommend.
Pros: Good location Good Hospitality
Cons: Stairs, very stip
Pros: Beautiful and great location . Had a closed space to safely lock the bikes.
Pros: The place is absolutely super located - remoted from civilization, restricted access area, old house, lake view! The host is very nice and friendly - supported us with all information about the parking and some other minor things. There are three guest rooms in the house, the dog and a cat:). Lovely! We occupied the room on the 1st floor, it was clean and quite. In the morning we could enjoy variety of birds’ voices from the outside - that was very relaxing. Breakfast was very nicely served and decorated in province style with good selection of local food: yogurt, cheese, bread.
Cons: You could hear your neighbors which was not something awful, but worth mentioning
Pros: We loved how clean the rooms were and how helpful and kind Madame was. Also we particularly enjoyed the cute little outdoor tables where you ate breakfast on the street within sight of the lake!
Cons: Our stay really exceeded our expectations but I suppose fresh fruit/ freshly squeezed orange juice or boiled eggs with toast would have been nice with breakfast. Still the croissants and yoghurt we had were good.
Pros: Set in a beautiful and unspoilt village. 30 meters from lovely harbour. Owner very helpful and family dog was a real character.
Located in Yvoire, Le Pré de la Cure is on a lake, within a 5-minute walk of Yvoire Tourism Office and Jardin des Cinq Sens. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: What a gem of a place ! Staff were friendly. Parking convenient and secure. We ate in the restaurant and the food and wine were excellent with good service. Enjoyed using the swimming pool and jacuzzi after a long days motorbiking. Rooms were clean and spacious and quiet. This was a lads motorcycling holiday but I will return with my wife for a romantic break. Excellent location bit very quiet at night
Cons: Loved the place but I guess if being picky it would benefit from air conditioning in the rooms.
Pros: Fantastic location with a great view. We dined on great cuisine every evening on the lovely veranda with the lake view, with great staff looking after us. Also, due to our negligence, the staff went over and above to return our forgotten luggage safely back to us to the UK.
Cons: No air conditioning
Pros: Great quality of the restaurant - 3 course dinners for 20 and 29 EUR with tremendous food Great spa area, with jacuzzi, indoor pool and sauna
Cons: no supermarket anywhere nearby, no possibility to have a small snack at nicht - only full dinners are offered in town everywhere
Pros: We had a balcony overlooking a field with sheep
Pros: Easy to locate in the town, and pleasant views of nearby livestock. Also, rooms have nice showers. The restaurant was quite lovely, and the food tasty.
Cons: The staff were stressed and unpleasant, and seemed particularly rude to anyone who could not speak clear French. Considering this hotel is located in a high-traffic area mere miles from a very multilingual country, this attitude seemed stark and disappointing to this world traveler.
Cons: Can't think of anything
Pros: Pretty gardens and views of lake and eglise. Quiet, yet central to the old town of Yvoire and net to the tourist office. Lovely spa with sauna, hammam and Jacuzzi. Easy access to walking and cycling and accessible by ferry boat from Nyon on the opposite bank of the lake (which is just 20 mins by train from Geneva airport. We've been before and would go again.
Cons: would like gym equipment. tea and coffee making facilities in room would be useful.
Pros: Great location on the very edge of the village, nice and spacious bedroom with a balcony facing the lake, good bathroom, on-site restaurant with an excellent meal.
Cons: Empty reception area (very often) as the staff simultaneously serves guests in the restaurant area, no supermarket in the village, bad transport availability in the region.
Pros: Great place, spacious enough for a number of nights,
Pros: The swimming pool, the food, the location. It was just wonderful.
Cons: Breakfast could have had more variety and fruit
When you a stay at Hotel Restaurant Du Port in Yvoire, you'll be on a lake, just steps from Garden of Five Senses and Jardin des Cinq Sens. Featured amenities include multilingual staff and an elevator (lift). Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: The location is stunning - when you open the doors onto the balcony and see the incredible view you just know you’re going to have a wonderful stay. It’s a basically a restaurant with rooms - with the restaurant below packed for lunch and for dinner. We had an amazing dinner - with a great table on the terrace. Super fresh langoustines and scallops - delicious. The hotel staff are welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. We returned because it was so good last time and we weren’t disappointed. So good in fact that we’re already booked again for a weekend later in the year. Must say a word about their sister hotel Villa Cecile - we had an equally good one night stay there - the staff are fabulous. The buffet breakfast is excellent and the pool is a great asset - it gets you away from the bustle of the crowds in the middle of the day. Lovely rooms. One major plus is that you can also use the Villa Cecile pool and spa if you stay at the Port Hotel so highly recommend either.
Pros: close to the village
Cons: the room in the 3d floor where the elevator did only get to the second floor.
Pros: The views, the room and the restaurant were all amazing
Pros: The staff were exceptionally friendly. The room was quaint and had everything we needed for a pleasant and relaxed stay.
Pros: The location of this property is amazing, perfect if you’re arriving by ferry and only a short walk from the main gates if you have a car. They also provide free parking at their sister hotel just up the road. The view from our room was gorgeous, we loved sleeping with the doors open and staring at the lake and mountains. One of the best showers I have ever seen! Also the restaurant was brilliant, food delicious and staff so friendly! We ate there 3 times in our 2 night stay!
Pros: The view was amazing! The man who greeted us upon check-in was very friendly and helpful.
Cons: We didn’t receive any communications prior to arrival so we were unsure where to park. We ended up parking in a public lot then walking quite a bit through crowded cobblestone (and hilly) streets to reach the location. Prior communication with a map would be helpful for future guests.
Pros: The staff, the views from the room and restaurant.
Cons: Breakfast was a bit basic, would have preferred a buffet style better.
Pros: Louis: the service manager, was very welcoming and happily catered to all our needs. Spectacular view of lake from our room.
Pros: Beuatiful location. Wonderful view. Helpful staff in hotel.
Pros: Amazing friendly hotel in a truely amazing location
Cons: Leaving - wish we could have stay longer!!!

Pros: Lake !
Cons: Pillows !
Cons: Dinner service a bit slow for the children - but good. Restaurant was obviously busy on Christmas Eve. No hot water apparently late evening
Pros: Everything !! Location, Staff, Food outstanding !!
Cons: No air conditioning in Hôtel, but probably not needed very often !
Pros: The historical ambiance
Cons: No complaints at all
Pros: Have stayed before and the location in a private gated community and at the edge of the lake leman is superb with wonderful outlook and very peaceful. The hotel is charming internally with highly ornate excellent restaurant and bar. Restaurant staff were excellent (especially Tatiana ) and food was 1st class . Breakfast served beside the lake was also most enjoyable.
Cons: Our room was small with large wooden stair to mezzanine bed area with low ceiling beam to avoid with ones head and very stuffy ...not great for €300/night . The pool area had no proper loungers just a few tatty old semi lounge things quite poor. The jacuzzi had a foot of dirty water in it and was out of order ...not on in mid Aug . Externally a bit of TLC required
Pros: The history & ambience was great. A lot of character. Fantastic breakfast!
Cons: They set up for a wedding 3-4 days in advance. The 2 tents took away from the outdoor ambience. Also, we were counting on having dinner there after reading very positive reviews & when we arrived they let us know they were closed, the Chef was away. I feel that should have been communicated in advance when we booked our reservation.
Pros: Impressive castle Beautiful view to the lake Big garden. Welcoming staff
Cons: The room decoration (80’) and isolation
Pros: This is a fascinating 12th century castle right on the shore of the lake. A good beach for swimming. Reception was warm, friendly and helpful. We were given a tour of the amazing building.
Cons: Our room was ‘unimproved’. Small and a very old-fashioned bathroom, with no shower, no rail, etc. Breakfast was also very ordinary for the price.
Pros: The location
Cons: Resturant closes on Mon and Tuesday and No Ac in the rooms
Pros: The restaurant was very nice and the location amazing.

Pros: Central location with free town parking right by. Everything clean and welcoming.
Cons: no hair drier in room
Cons: would like tea and coffee making facilities in room
