I have nothing nice to say except lady was pleasant. The Hotel was nearly impossible to find - no name!!! Was in an Industrial area next to factories. We were the only people staying in Hotel, not even staffed!! No Facilities WiFi didn't work a much nicer hotel 1/2 a kilometer up road for same price with a great restaurant - stay there!!
We found the food and price's were excellent with a special 'Thank you' to Dominique and his team who looked after us very well on Sunday (26/09/2010) evening for Dinner. Just one word to say, perhaps the menus could be bilingual?
Great location by the waterfall / river and at the heart of Pont en Royans, a great little village in the Vercors mountains The rooms were rather basic but good enough for an overnight stay. The village itself was the real attraction and the Musee by the hotel is worth a visit.
What a great view from our hotel! Although the room was sparsley decorated, the cleanliness of the room and the surroundings made it a great value. A great stopover hotel on our drive through France.
The view of the suspended houses and stream was wonderful. I recommend the corner room with the view. The hotel is not new or modern, but it is clean and the view is gorgeous. The breakfast was adequate.
Location, the food in the restaurant, helpful staff there, relaxed atmosphere, museum was interesting Pillows were hard and tracking down the receptionist
You get what you pay for, it's a budget hotel, room is small, yet tidy. Breakfast is served from 6am, great for early starts and close location to Valence Small room, but as said, you it's what you ask for.
Pleasant place in reasonable location. Within walking distance of river and range of decent restaurants
Breakfast was surprising good quality compared to room quality Very simple rooms, bad smell in room
friendly hotel staff
Disgusting. Hotel was small and prison like, no staff there when we arrived. Staff argued continuously about about number of rooms and price, yet reservation numbers showed it was their mistake not mine. They also argued about numbers of people - all who were there in front of them. Awful place. everything, smelly and dirty shower. no ventilation "cat" is the right description.
Smell of smoke in the hotel
the brackfast was speciale for us on 5am ....thanks for it more channels on the TV eurosport/bbc news/.........
The hotel was like a prison. We could not get in after a long drive from England as it was locked in the afternoon. I could not believe they had cages on the vending machines. When the staff had gone everything was caged up, very inhospitable. For them to have to do this there must be really poor hotel security
Very helpful staff, lovely dining area, amazing setting, relaxing, quiet, water sports nearby, private parking
typical small basic french hotel with lovely views of the river and aqueduct. It had everything we needed, and helpful staff.
The staff at this hotel was wonderful. The proprietor was very hospitable, and was willing to stay late so that we could enjoy our evening on her terrace bar. I would return again to this hotel, without hestitation. It was a little out of our way, but the charm and hospitality made this side trip one of the most memorable of our trip.
Location was great, Room small but clean & bed comfortable. Hotel staff were non-existent. Waited 30 minutes just to get served a drink having been persuaded to eat in the restaurant that evening. Meal & wine expensive. Breakfast -waited ages to even be acknowledged - all for a croissant, bread & drink. Paid the bill previous night, understood why as when left the next day there was still no one around - the hotel seemed almost closed! Would recommend for location and price only.
The view from the bedroom widow & the location in the breathtaking village of St Nazaire-en-Royans
Comfortable rooms, all away from roadside, dining room overlooking lake/river. Very helpful staff and heating that was adjustable. The breakfast should have offered more than bread, croissant, butter and jam.
We needed at bed on the way from Spain to Denmark and found it on this hotel. Further the view from window was very good, beside the caves Staff did not understand anything but French and didnot understand that I had paid and booked on the net. Whole town died out at 22
The town was gorgeous, so location was fantastic - the restaurant was very good Not open during the day, breakfast was expensive and very limited and the credit card facility was not working
Personnel went out of their way to more than satisfy my expectations No aircondition in room so it got hot
Very basic, not very clean, sturdy staff
The room was simple but practicle and the owners were friendly and helpful. The hotel was advertised as a b&b, but the madame cooked us a 3 course evening meal for 10 euros each which was very pleasant. no
stayed for seven nights, very good for touring the Rhone and the Alps the family at this B&B were wonderfull in all the help they gave us plenty of maps and guids on hand. when we returned after a hard days sightseeing a excellent meal was provided all local produce at modest cost. the family went out of their way for our comfort.Thank you.
