Worked for our road trip
Our stay at the Red Roof Inn was exactly what we needed for our road trip stop. It is nothing fancy, but the sheets and towels were clean, it was quiet, and the staff was very friendly. I’m usually pretty skeptical of motels, but we could back right up to our room’s exterior door and bring our stuff in for the night and then load it back up in the morning. This is a bonus to me when traveling with kids because we usually need to make a few trips from the vehicle to get all of our stuff to the room. As I mentioned, the staff was very friendly, when we got there, Elizabeth greeted us and got us checked in. She was very friendly. Later, when we went to the lobby to get some fresh baked cookies and they weren’t done baking yet, so the young lady working asked for our room number and called us when the cookies were ready. They also had complimentary tea and coffee at all times. The morning breakfast was basic, including muffins, bagels, English muffins, cereal, yogurt, hard boiled eggs, and a waffle station. The staff was attentive to refilling food and cleaning tables off. Overall, I would stay here again if we were passing through Falconer.
It was nothing special, but worked for us. If you are looking for an updated hotel with a hot breakfast, this place is probably not for you. It was nice that it was right off of the highway, so it was easy to get back on the road in the morning.
Staff was awesome!
My husband was recently disabled, and the staff went the extra mile to fulfill some special requests that I needed to make him more comfortable during our stay. The room was clean, breakfast was good (normal hotel breakfast fare) and the 6pm cookies were a pleasant surprise!
No pool - but we knew that when we booked the room.
Elizabeth was great, we came up for a wedding and she was friendly and overall pleasant. We arrived in town after traveling overnight for thirteen hours, with a small child, she helped us get checked in early, even thought they were fully booked. And while we were waiting she let us use the breakfast room so we could eat and just be out of our car. Everytime I come to visit my family, I WILL be staying here. It doesn't give the "cheap" hotel vibe, it's beautiful inside, very clean, and tastefully decorated.
