Great location for exploring Ireland's Atlantic coastline and the Burren.
Pros: This is a great B&B. I highly recommend it. Our room was very comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was really lovely. Full Irish-- lots of fresh fruit, homemade scones, Irish bacon, eggs, and more. Best of all the coffee was strong. Great gardens.
Pros: The proprietor was very friendly and helpful and she helped us book a tour of the beautiful surrounding area with a local family. The house itself was beautiful- the best B&B we found in our travels through Ireland.

Pros: I was very pleased with this hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I would go there again.
Pros: I loved the colouring of the room. It gave it a less standard hotel room feel. I also loved the breakfast. The salmon option is not offered everywhere
Cons: Maybe it is hard to clean the rooms properly because there is so much stuff in there? The room was a bit chilly and I did not know how to turn up the heating. There was no one downstairs when I wanted to ask and there was no bell or anything like it.
Pros: The room was beautifully prepared with a lot of extra touches that made the stay much more pleasurable.
Cons: It is a bit far from the town centre but there are plenty of taxis available.
Pros: It was a last minute choice at a very reasonable price, located conveniently close to town
Cons: The house smelled of fat frying, the bed was very uncomfortable and the heating in the bedroom and bathroom went off at 10pm and did not even come on again next morning - quite cold and unwelcoming.
Pros: Clean, up-to-date facilities in nicely decorated rooms.

Pros: The 'castle hotel' is actually a hotel with fake little medieval towers... Only they're blue and only cats could climb on them. Fittingly, the CCTV cameras are patrolling on those little turrets but the whole thing is kitsch. What a laugh we had when we arrived.
Inside is comfy if a little impersonal, staff was OK.
Cons: Could hear the ventilation of the bathroom from the bedroom even door closed.
Pros: Sightseeing. Listening to traditional Irish music in Lisdoonvarna. Eating out at other venuesThe hotel bedroom was comfortable. The breakfast was adequate.
Cons: No exterior lighting when we returned late at night Not properly signposted Hotel seemed mostly empty and 'dead'. Used to selecting own cereals fruit and yogurt for breakfas even in B and Bs . I think 3 cereals offered no fruit no yogurt..
Pros: great hospitality..and friendliness
Pros: Not alot really, had been on a tour of Ireland and the Burren Castle ended up being the most expensive hotel that we stayed in and was certainly not value for money, very dated, it smelled and reminded us of Fawlty Towers. We even contemplated leaving straight away.
Cons: Very dated, not worth the price paid, too far from the town.
Pros: very unassuming staff and hotel. Was left to my own devices. Breakfast staff were very attentive. Great value for money.
